Chapter 3

******

This is a brand new, never seen before chapter so I hope you all enjoy!

******

The sight before him glued Will to the spot. It wasn’t real, he told himself, it couldn’t be real. It was the result of the heat that had overwhelmed him. Only, the heat had gone now, although his heart was still pounding away fit to bust, and the… vampire was still there drinking from the woman’s neck.

The girl let out another whimper/moan which the vampire echoed and pressed his body hard against hers, his mouth never leaving its place at her neck. Will could see the vampire’s own neck working as he swallowed the blood that he had taken from the girl.

Suddenly the girl’s eyes, which she had closed, shot open and started trying to push the man away from her. Letting out an annoyed growl the vampire grabbed her wrists and slammed them back onto the wall. The girl let out a sob, gone now was the near aroused state she had been in before, this woman was scared for her life. She let lose a few kicks at the vampire’s legs but this attempt at self-defence just made him chuckle.

Just then her whole body shuddered and she went limp in the vampire’s arms. Dead, no doubt about that. It shocked Will how much a dead body looked nothing like a live one. He watched as the girl’s now lifeless body slid to the ground, as the vampire wiped a bit of her blood from his lips then licked it from his thumb.

“That was enjoyable m’dear but your use is done.” The vampire said with a light chuckle, then turned round and walked out of the alley.

Panic shot through Will, this was the one chance he had to find out the truth behind the legends and myths. He wasn’t going to let it get away. Fighting his way through the fuzziness of his mind he slowly moved to the mouth of the alley, there ahead was the vampire walking slowly away.

There was no use blatantly following him, he would realise he was being followed quickly enough. Will would have to follow him using the shadows, being as silent as he could be when his feet weren’t really listening to his brain.

All the time he followed he kept on expecting the vampire to speed up and be lost to his sight; or to be suddenly swallowed up by the night. But he always remained in Will’s sight, just ahead of him and walking at that slow, unhurried pace. Will always kept his eyes on the figure ahead, he hardly noticed the passing of time as he walked, or how the houses were becoming less and less dense, opening up and becoming further and further apart. And became more and more industrialised with huge warehouses that had plenty of dark places to hide.

The vampire slipped between two of the buildings and will quickly followed, his heart pounding away against his ribs.

Only, there was, nothing and no-one, there. The small alleyway was completely empty.

Will collapsed to his knees. Gone, the living proof of a lifetime’s obsession was gone in the blink of an eye. Despair rolled so heavily over Will in that moment that he did not hear the figure dropping down behind him. However it was done so silently it would be doubtful that he would have heard it when he was in full control of himself. As it was, the first he knew about it was when the figure picked him with back of his collar and smashed him against the wall.

“Well, well little one. Did you really think I didn’t know you were following me?” the softness of the voice was the complete opposite of the violence that was pinning Will to the wall.

“I knew you were there the moment you stepped out of the club. Quite the little voyeur aren’t you?” the vampire licked his lips as his eyes roamed over Will’s body.

“Did you enjoy it? Did you enjoy watching me drain that sweet little thing of her blood? Did you enjoy watching me kill her?”

Will fought to get air into his lungs; the delicate hand that was holding him from around his neck was shockingly strong.

“So I did see that, you are…you are…” Will fought for breath.

“A vampire, a nosferatu, the living undead, whatever you want to call me, yes.” The vampire seemed amused by Will’s struggles, “shocked?”

Will looked straight into the vamp’s pale green eyes.

“No.”

The vampire looked surprised at this, then annoyed. “You’re not one of those Goth vampire-wanna-be’s are you?”

The look of distaste on the vampire’s face caused Will, despite the fact that it was very possible that he was going to die soon, to chuckle.

“No, I have… no illusions… about whether I’m… a vampire or… not.”

“Then why risk your pretty little neck?” The pale one growled, tightening his grip on the body part in question.*

Will choked, “I just…wanted… to learn. About vampires. That’s why…I followed…you. I wanted… to learn.”

The vampire’s smile could only be described as pure sin.

“Then learn.” And with that, a hand forced Will’s chin up, baring his throat to the pale vampire. Who promptly sank his fangs deep into Will’s jugular.

It was… intoxicating.

The feel of the blood being rhythmically pulled from his neck, perfectly in time with the fangs moving out of his neck until only the remained in his neck, then plunging back in to force more blood from his body.

The knowledge that his blood was now the whole focus of the creature before him, his whole world. That knowledge, even as darkness was rushing swiftly towards him, made him feel so powerful.

Then he felt nothing.

A/N: *His neck goddamn it! We haven’t got to the hot man sex yet.
