Chapter 3

Well, here's the next chapter. Sorry for the delay. I put it up over on Fictionpress. I also made myself a Livejournal for my stories. It's http://heartlessnobody.livejournal.com/

I'll be updating that with stories also. I'll still be updating here, but I'll be posting stuff there that I probably won't post anywhere else.

Note: I don't own Dogma or Alan Rickman (I wish I did, though). Nor do I own any other companies or stores listed in this story. Don't sue me or anything. I don't have any money. I only have a guinea pig and a laptop.

Please give me reviews and constructive criticism. I'm always looking for ways to improve my work.

Yuki unlocked the door to his little apartment. It was perfect for one person. The living room was the bedroom. He has a small futon in the middle of the room. Off to the right was a tiny kitchen. There was a refrigerator that was usually empty because he was to lazy to go to the store. And there was a microwave on a grimy white counter. Next to that was a sink. On the left was the bathroom. He didn't want to go in there right away. He didn't want to deal with all the blood on the floor.

Yuki walked over to his telephone that was next to the futon. No messages as usual. You would think at least one of his friends would call to see how he was doing. Those jerks... He sighed and collapsed on the futon. He wasn't about to call his friends. They should be the ones to call him and see how he was doing. But he didn't want to be alone. He didn't want to stay in his apartment by himself. Yuki pulled a small piece of paper out of the pocket of his jeans and picked up the phone. He quickly dialed the number and waited for Matt to pick up.

"Hey, this is Matt. I can't come to the phone right now, so leave a message after the beep and I'll get back to you as soon as possible."

Yuki waited for the beep. "Hey, Matt. This is Yuki. I just got home from the hospital. I-I really don't want to be alone right now. I thought you'd want to maybe hang out at my place. I live on Birch street across from the 7-11. If you are busy or don't feel like coming don't worry about it. I understand. If you need to call me my number is 555-4317." Yuki hung up the phone and sighed. Looks like another night alone... He lied down on the futon and fell asleep.

Yuki woke to someone banging on his door. He had no idea what time it was. It must of been night though. The room was completely dark. He got off of the futon and went over to the door; turning on the lights as he went. The person on the other side of the door just kept knocking. It was beginning to hurt his head.

Yuki growled as she swung the door open. Matt was standing on the other side holding a box of pizza and grinning. His brown hair was down today. It reached just below his shoulders.

“Sorry I didn’t come over sooner. I just got home from the hospital. I figured I’d stop for pizza on the way.” Matt said pushing Yuki aside and walking into the apartment.

Yuki rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and followed Matt over to the kitchen table. “What time is it?”

Matt looked down at his watch. “It’s two a.m.” Matt placed the pizza down on the table, opened the box and took a slice. “I hope I didn’t wake you up.”

“I was sleeping, but it’s cool.” Yuki went over to the box and took a slice for himself.

“This is such a tiny place. And it’s kind of grungy.” Matt said running his finger along the counter top. He looked at the dust on his index finger. “Gross man!”

“I don’t have that many guests...”

“Yeah, I understand.” Matt sat down on the futon and grabbed the remote. He began flipping through the channels. “Oh, Dogma is on! I love this movie. Don’t you?”

Matt was trying to start a conversation with Yuki. He had a feeling Yuki wasn’t the talking type.

Yuki sat down next to Matt. “Yeah, It’s pretty good.”

“That Alan Rickman is kind of hot. For a older guy.” Matt said practically drooling over the man on the television.

“I wouldn’t know. I’m not gay.” Yuki took a bite out of his pizza.

“I’m sure I can change that.” Matt said reaching over to Yuki and running a finger down his cheek.

Yuki quickly pulled away from the touch and drew his legs up to his chest. “Don’t touch me...”

Matt looked over at Yuki. “Sorry... I didn’t mean to freak you out. I was just joking.”

“It’s nothing against you or anything. I just don’t like people touching me.” Yuki looked down at his pizza and blushed.

“So...” Matt was trying to think of a topic they could talk about. “You know a lot about me. What about you. What do you like to do for fun?”

Yuki thought for a moment. “Most of the stuff you like. Video games, going to clubs, bowling. Although most nights I’d just rather stay at home and watch a movie.”

“Yeah. I hear ya. Some nights I just want to stay at home and chill.” Matt looked over at Yuki who had finished his slice of pizza and he was now struggling to stay awake. “Dude, if you’re tired I can go. We can hang out tomorrow. I don’t have to go to the hospital.”

“No, please stay. Don’t leave me alone...” Yuki mumbled as his green eyes closed.

Matt watched Yuki sleep for a few minutes. It really was a shame that the kid wasn’t gay. He was quite cute. Although, a straight man hasn't stopped him before. He's converted a few men in his day.

Matt found a blanket laying on the carpet in front of the futon. He draped it over Yuki's sleeping form. He stood up and went to the bathroom. He flipped on the light and thought he stepped into the set of a horror movie. He stared at the blood on the white tile in shock. How could someone loose that much blood and live? Matt picked up a clean towel that was laying on the floor and began to clean up the blood. He figured Yuki wouldn't want to walk in the bathroom and see all his blood. It was best for him to move on.

Matt finished cleaning the bathroom and walked back out to the living room. Yuki was still sleeping. Matt sat down next to him and yawned. He looked at his watch. It was already five in the morning. He leaned over to Yuki and kissed him on his temple before falling asleep himself.

Yuki woke up the next morning. He felt a arm wrapped around him. Matt was sitting next to him with his arm around Yuki's shoulders. Yuki's head was resting on the other mans shoulder. He started to get up, but decided to stay close to Matt for a little longer. His warmth felt good and his touch didn't repulse him like so many others. It felt good to know he wasn't alone. At least for today.

Yuki sat there for twenty more minutes then decided to get up and make some coffee. He didn't want to leave Matt's warmth. He hardly knew the man for a day and he already felt completely comfortable around him. He just hoped Matt wouldn't abandon him for someone better.

Matt woke up to the wonderful smell of coffee. He stretched and headed over to the kitchen table where Yuki was pouring two cups of coffee. Matt sat down and started drinking. Yuki sat next to him. They both sat in silence for a few minutes.

“Not much of a talker, huh?” Matt said looking at Yuki over his mug.

“Sorry...” Yuki mumbled taking a sip of his coffee. “I never usually have time to get a word in when I hang out with my friends.”

“No need to apologize. I know I can talk a lot. If you don’t like it just slap me or something.” Matt looked over at Yuki and smiled. “So, you want to do something today?”

“Sure. I really need to go clothes shopping. But we can do something else if you don’t want to go to the mall.” Yuki didn’t want to do anything Matt didn’t want to do. He didn’t want Matt to leave him.

"No, that's fine. Whatever you want to do is okay with me."

Yuki quickly chugged the rest of his coffee. "I'll take a quick shower and get dressed." He stood up and headed towards the bathroom. He put his hand on the brass door knob and stopped. "Or maybe not..." Yuki didn't want to have to see his own blood in there.

Matt saw Yuki hesitate at the door. "I cleaned up the mess in there."

Yuki mumbled a thanks and went into the bathroom shutting the door behind him.

Forty-five minutes later Matt was still waiting for Yuki to come out of the shower. He was wore than a woman getting ready. Matt was bored out of his mind. There was nothing fun to do in the one room apartment. No video games, no computer. There wasn't even anything good on television.

He stood up and walked over to the bathroom door. "Yuki. God, you said a quick shower!" When Yuki didn't say anything Matt knocked on the door. "What are you doing in there? You are as bad as a woman! Except you don't have to put on make-up"

Yuki opened the door. "Shut up already. I'm done."

He stepped into the living room wearing a tight long-sleeved black shirt and a pair of baggy black jeans with chains.

Matt looked at Yuki's eyes and started laughing. "You are wearing make-up. What is that; eyeliner? Doesn't matter. That shirt makes you look hot."

Yuki blushed and looked down at the floor. "Are you ready to go?"

"I've been ready for awhile now." Yuki walked out the door with Matt behind him.

"You sure you aren't gay? I really want to kiss you right now." Matt said smirking at Yuki.

"I'm positive. Let's just go already..."

The two boys walked down the busy city streets towards the mall. Matt couldn't stand the silence. "We called your parents the other day when you came in the hospital. They didn't seem to care to much about you."

Yuki frowned. "Yeah, we got in a fight the day I graduated high school. I haven't seen or talked to them since."

"Why, what happened?"

"It was stupid. I don't really want to talk about it." Yuki walked up to the doors to the mall and held one open for Matt. Matt walked through and waited for Yuki.

"What's your natural hair color?" Matt said touching Yuki's black hair.

Yuki swatted his hand away. "Blond, why?"

"You'd look better as a blond. You should get some hair dye today." Matt said running a hand through Yuki's hair.

Yuki sighed. "Yeah. I did it to see if anyone would notice." Matt continued to run his hand through Yuki's hair. "Stop that.

"Yeah, yeah. You don't liked to be touched." Yuki nodded at Matt. "That's why you were cuddling with me last night." Matt smirked and winked at Yuki.

Yuki turned bright red and walked quickly to the beauty supply store. Matt laughed and followed.

A few minutes later they came out of the store. Yuki was carrying a bag with bleach and hair dye to match his natural hair color.

"Where are we going now? I want to check out the video games." Matt said as he practically skipped through the mall.

"Hot Topic." Matt stopped short causing Yuki to walk right into him.

"No. No Hot Topic for you. You need to get away from depressing colors." Matt took Yuki's hand and drug him away from Hot Topic.

Yuki let him self be drug through the mall. He had no idea where Matt was taking him Yuki smiled a little. He was enjoying Matt's company. Maybe this new friend would be good for him. He always seemed happy. Yuki figured he could use some happy in his life.

Matt led Yuki to Old Navy. "Here we are." He led the shorter boy in the store.

"Not Old Navy..." Yuki groaned. "I hate Old Navy..."

"It's better than Hot Topic." Matt drug Yuki through the store handing him all different kinds of clothes. When Matt was satisfied with what he picked out he took Yuki to the dressing room. "Go try everything on." Matt shoved Yuki into one of the little rooms and closed the door.

A few minutes later Yuki came out. “You have a eye for clothes. Everything looks good on me.” He smiled at Matt.

“I have a eye for fashion.” Matt smiled. “Let’s go pay for everything. I want to buy video games.”

Matt picked up the pile of clothes and walked over to the cash register. Yuki grabbed his wallet out of his back pocket to pay for everything. Matt already had his wallet out and was handing his credit card to the cashier. Yuki tried to grab Matt’s credit card. Matt slapped Yuki’s hand gently.

“I picked it all out. I’ll pay for it.” Matt gave Yuki a small smile.

“I can’t ask you to pay for all this. We just met.” Yuki tried to grab the credit card again. Matt grabbed Yuki’s hand and held it.

“Don’t worry about it. I like to buy stuff for my friends.” Matt handed his credit card to the cashier and quickly signed the paper she gave him. Matt grabbed the bags and walked out of the store still holding Yuki’s hand. “Would you have even been able to afford to pay for all of that?”

“No. Probably not...” Yuki had a job. It wasn’t a good job. It paid the rent and electricity every month. That was good enough for him. “I’ll pay you back.”

“If you really want to you can make out with me. That would be a great way to pay me back.” Matt smirked as Yuki pulled his hand out of Matt’s. Yuki gently hit Matt on his shoulder.

“In your dreams and my nightmares.” Yuki looked up at Matt and started to laugh.

The two of them laughed all the way to the video game store. Yuki stopped laughing and watched the two people coming out of the video game store. Matt recognized the blond girl from the hospital the other night. She was holding hands with a short chubby guy with short blond hair.

Yuki looked into Amanda’s blue eyes. Matt could tell Yuki was angry. The girl let go of the guys hand and threw herself on Yuki and gave him a big hug. “I’m so glad you are okay. I was meaning to call you. Bruce and I got distracted though.”

Yuki pushed the girl away. “Whatever...”

“Bruce and I were just on our way to go bowling. Want to join us?” Amanda asked smiling at Yuki.

“I would, but I’m here with a friend.” Yuki pointed at Matt. “That’s Matt. Matt, that’s Amanda and her boyfriend, Bruce.”

Matt put a hand on Yuki’s shoulder. “Let’s go bowling with your friends. It will be fun!”

Yuki started to protest, but Matt put a hand over his mouth.

“Great! Let’s get going.” Amanda took Bruce’s hand and headed for the exit. Matt and Yuki followed.

“Why did you say yes?” Yuki whispered to Matt.

“It will be fun.” Matt whispered back.

“Yeah, loads of fun. Nothing like watching the two of them make out at the bowling alley. It’s a ton of fun being ignored by your closest friend.”

“Well, I’ll be there. It won’t be that bad. And if they start making out we throw a bowling ball at them.”

The bowling alley was right across the street from the mall. Before Yuki knew it they were putting on their bowling shoes and picking out balls. Yuki could of killed Matt. He didn't want to be here with his so called friends. He really didn't want to spend the rest of his day watching Amanda and Bruce being a happy couple.

Yuki was the first one to bowl. He was usually a good bowler. He never got gutter balls. This time was a exception. When he rolled the ball his wrist cried out in protest. Yuki didn't take his second turn. He sat down in a chair next to Matt.

"I can't bowl. It hurts to much." Yuki said taking off his bowling shoes.

"If you don't mind I'd like to stick around and bowl a game or two. I haven't been bowling in awhile." Matt said standing up to take his turn.

"Oh, yeah, sure. No problem..." Yuki growled at Matt.

Yuki just wanted to go home. Halfway through the first game Amanda and Bruce started making out. Matt was trying to get Amanda's attention to tell her it was her turn. He even started to poke her, but all she did was shove him away.

Matt smirked and looked at Yuki. "Two can play at this game." Yuki looked at Matt confused.

Matt grabbed the collar of Yuki's shirt and pulled him into a standing position. He wrapped one arm around Yuki's thin waist and pulled the smaller boy up against him. Matt leaned down and gently kissed Yuki on the lips. Yuki's green eyes went wide and he tried to pull away from Matt. Matt fisted one hand in Yuki's hair and pulled him back into the kiss.

At first Yuki tried to fight him away. After a few seconds he started to kiss Matt back. Yuki even allowed Matt to slip his tongue into Yuki’s mouth.

Yuki was mad at Matt for doing like that in front of his friends. Although, Yuki had to admit the kiss wasn't that bad. But still, Matt shouldn't have done that to him. Ah, who is he kidding? The kiss was amazing. All of a sudden Matt pulled away. Yuki pouted at him. Then he noticed his friends staring at them with their mouths open.

Yuki was embarrassed. He didn't like his friends gawking at him like that. He glared at Matt and quickly ran out of the bowling alley. Yuki started to run down the sidewalk. He was confused. He felt like he had butterflies in his stomach. He never had that feeling before. He especially never had those feelings for another man before. Matt was a man. Yuki wasn’t supposed to feel butterflies when he kissed men. He is supposed to be with a woman.

Matt quickly changed into his shoes, picked up their bags and ran after Yuki. He caught up with Yuki a few blocks later. Matt reached out and grabbed Yuki’s upper arm.

Yuki stopped running and turned around to face Matt. “How could you do that?” Yuki yelled at Matt. Yuki grabbed one of the Old Navy bags and started hitting Matt with it. “You’re a jerk!”

Matt laughed. “I’m sorry. Let me make it up to you. I’ll buy you a drink or two. Maybe even three.” Matt didn’t mean to make Yuki mad at him.

Yuki stopped hitting Matt. “It would be more convincing if you weren’t laughing as you said that. And I’m not old enough to drink yet.”

“Woah, really? How old are you?” Matt’s secret plan wasn’t going to work if Yuki didn’t drink. Matt found out that if you get someone drunk enough their true feelings will come out. He wanted to know what Yuki really thought of the kiss.

“I’m twenty.” Yuki mumbled. He didn’t want to drink. He wasn’t much of a drinker. He only got drunk once before and it wasn’t good. Not good at all.

“I’ll have to stop at the liquor store then. Come one.” Matt drug Yuki down the sidewalk to the liquor store.

“I don’t want to drink.” Yuki whined to Matt, but Matt ignored him.

Yuki whined the whole way to the liquor store and all the way back to his house.

Matt sat on the futon laughing at Yuki. The kid was amusing when he was drunk. He was currently running around his apartment with a blanket tied around his neck. Matt only gave Yuki two beers and he was already extremely drunk. Yuki started to run past Matt. Matt grabbed the white towel around Yuki’s neck and pulled him down onto his lap.

“Lemme go. I wanna be Superman!” Yuki started to stand up, but Matt wrapped an arm around Yuki’s waist.

“You can be Superman in a few minutes. You have to answer my question first.” Matt said as he untied the towel.

Yuki sighed. “Fine, fine... Then I must save the world.”

“What did you think of the kiss before?” Matt asked looking into Yuki’s green eyes.

“I don’t wanna say.” Yuki said turning away from Matt.

“Why don’t you want to say?”

“I’ve never felt like that before.” Yuki said looking back at Matt.

“Did you like it?”

“Yes... Wait, that was more than one question! No fair.” Yuki whined.

“Sorry. You can go back to saving the world or whatever you were doing.” Matt said taking his arm away from Yuki’s waist.

Instead of standing up again Yuki leaned towards Matt and kissed him on the corner of his mouth. "Kiss me again."

Matt smiled and gently kissed Yuki on the lips. Yuki quickly pulled away from the kiss.

"I think I'm gonna puke!" Yuki flew into the bathroom and knelt down next to the toilet.

Matt rubbed Yuki's back as he sat next to the toilet. He never meant for Yuki to get sick. He felt horrible. Who knew that two beers could do that to someone?

Yuki stood up and grabbed his tooth brush. He was mumbling something about barf breath.

Once Yuki was done brushing his teeth; Matt helped Yuki over to the futon. He folded it out so Yuki could lie down. Matt gently pushed Yuki down on the bed. Yuki grabbed Matt's shirt and pulled him down on the bed.

"Don't go." Yuki mumbled resting his head on Matt's chest and closing his eyes.

"I wasn't planning on it." Matt wrapped his arms around Yuki and held him close.
