Lin and Aeyu
Same warnings the first chapter and the second. Also this is the first update for this in......almost forever, so bear with me if the writing style seems a bit weird, I've been experimenting with stuffs. And it's kinda darker than the last two chapters, but it has a bit of a friendlier twist towards the end. That said, let the chapter begin!
Kcyaa walked down the halls of her brother’s home, admiring the many beautiful and varied paintings that hung about the walls. She had left Lin to watch Aeyu, assuring her bodyguard that she could take care of herself in her brother’s home. She followed the sharp, musky scent of her brother, the scent bringing old memories to the surface, some good and some bad. A faint smile danced on her lips as her bare feet carried her to Kiathu’s quarters. It was good to be around him again, even if it was only to help him out of the predicament he’d gotten himself into.
Laughing softly to herself Kcyaa walked up to the double doors that smelled most like her brother and knocked sharply on them. It was about an hour past dawn and she figured he should be up by now, if he hadn’t gotten lax in his own retirement from seeking glory on the battle field. She smirked as Kiathu came to the door himself and peered out at her, his darker nearly violet eyes blinking sleepily at her. “Good morning Brother. We need to discuss the girl you have given me and her lineage.” She began as she gave Kiathu a light push backwards into his room.
Yawning Kiathu tried to catch up with what his sister was saying, but he was still mostly asleep. On his bed Gyb stirred, green eyes opening in near terror as they focused on Kcyaa and realized the girl was glowering at him. Kiathu watched mutely as Gyb rolled off the bed and scrambled in a rolling kneel to come and heel at Kcyaa’s feet, head bowed in complete submission to her will. He flicked his cat’s eyes from his sister’s hardened face to the nearly quivering figure of his treasured pet.
A dark shadow flitted around Kcyaa as she glowered at Gyb. Cold hatred still burned in her for things he’d done years ago before he’d become her brother’s pet and while she had gotten better at tolerating his continued existence, there were some times when she couldn’t deal with being in the same space as he. With a flick of wrist her left hand shifted from mostly human to a strange mixture of her truer cat self and the humanized form she usually took. It was within her rights to strike Gyb for being so close to her person as she was not only a visiting Mistress in his Master’s home, but she was the Mistress of his Master. Frowning, Kcyaa paused her hand and did not strike him. Instead she crouched down and lifted his face from the floor. Her trademark dark smirk slid across her lips as she watched terror bleed into Gyb’s green eyes. “Don’t worry Lovely. You are free to retreat to whatever accommodations my sweet brother keeps you in when he has no need of your particular services. Go now, with my blessing.” She purred, brushing her left hand against his cheek, enjoying the faint shiver that ran through his body before he dipped his head again to her and raced from the room, giving his Master only the slightest of polite head bobs as he exited.
Sighing Kiathu slowly approached his sister. Though her elder in age, he had always been her subordinate in everything and mostly by his own choice and that hadn’t changed in the centuries that had passed as he had become a Master in his own realm. Gracefully he dropped to his knees, kneeling before Kcyaa and resting his head against her hip. A deep purr rumbled out his bare chest as her pawed hand stroked his face and then tipped his head to the side. As a single sharp claw dragged itself across his exposed throat as he moaned and offered more of his neck to his sister. There was no shame in him as he knelt before her, cut and bleeding for her pleasure. He keened softly as she bent down and laved her tongue along his throat. “Kcyaa.” He whispered as strong fangs sank slowly into his flesh, drawing his life’s blood from his neck and making his knees quake with the need to be pressed closer to her as she fed lightly from him. As gently as she had started, Kiathu knew Kcyaa wasn’t going to continue that way. Her adrenaline levels were up from seeing Gyb and if there was one thing he knew about Kcyaa beyond any shadow of a doubt, it was that she didn’t waste an adrenaline high. He wasn’t disappointed when she pulled back before drinking her fill, but he was surprised when she didn’t treat him to a violent action.
Lavender eyes slid closed as Kcyaa fought down the urge to strike her brother for no reason other than it would be a pleasure to do so. She had been getting steadily less like her old self the longer she was away from those that she had grown up with, but being so close to her brother and all the scents and smells that were associated with other times and places, she couldn’t really help her desire to do as she once had. At war inside, she knew it was a losing battle even though she was trying not to fail. It was failure that had sent her into hiding. Failing to save her best friend six hundred years past and only being there to pick up the pieces of lives she had saved and nurtured for almost a thousand years. Slowly she opened her eyes and met the curious stare of her brother. Forgoing fighting her instincts she let her hand fly, catching him with a wicked backhand and knocking him to his back with a bleeding lip and cautious eyes. Snorting she turned away from him and sat on his rumpled bed, smoothing imperceptible wrinkles from her jeans. A haughty smile played on her lips as Kiathu rolled to his stomach and then to his feet, fluid in motion and graceful in step as he approached her.
Coming to stand before Kcyaa, Kiathu pushed her legs apart and stood between them. His face stung where she had struck him and it made his body ache for the closeness of hers. With a low growling purr he leaned into her wrapping his arms loosely around her waist as he pressed his naked form against her clothed one. A keening whine rumbled past his lips as claws raked themselves across his chest leaving long bloody furrows in their wake. This was the Kcyaa he remembered following and half-worshipping; this was the Kcyaa that he loved and adored no matter what she did or said to him; she was his heart.
Exhaling slowly, she inhaled the sweet scent of fresh blood reveling in its pure intensity. There was just something so delightful about freshly spilled blood that always gave her an extra tingle. Reaching out, Kcyaa tangled her still humanoid right hand in Kiathu’s long raven hair and pulled him in tight against her before plunging her tongue in his mouth. It wasn’t much of a battle of dominance, he giving in almost immediately, but it did raise her libido. Pulling back she drew Kiathu’s head to the side and ran her tongue the length of his carotid artery, tasting his jittering pulse beat for a moment before trailing her tongue lower and cleaning the blood from his now healed chest. Laughing she traced the places her claws had left their mark but moments ago. “Thank the gods for vampiric healing, ne Brother?” she murmured against his skin.
“I do not thank them for that Kcyaa, but I do thank them for you.” Kiathu whispered in reply as he was given a hard toss up onto the bed upside down on his back. He made a soft ‘oof’ as Kcyaa did a back bend and ended up rolling on top of him a second later. A sigh of contentment passed between his lips as his sister straddled him, grinding her pelvis against his.
Rolling against Kiathu, Kcyaa couldn’t help the smirk that played along her lips. There were just some things it wasn’t worth it to fight and this was probably one of them. Curling down atop him, she idly traced a claw across the old scars from when they were kits ages and ages ago. “Talk to me Bro. What’s what about Aeyu? Grel’gin the Leopard’s Pride wouldn’t give his only daughter away so lightly.”
“She refused her suit. Grel’gin wasn’t happy about it and his Mate, Kenna, Fury Matriarch of the High Cave Clan, suggested Aeyu be Broken. And since no one could find you, they figured second best was still pretty good and they would have hired the fools who had tried to Break you. I was at Court then, keeping an eye on things with Astren’s people for you as asked and I volunteered to do it.” Kiathu explained.
Kcyaa growled and jabbed a finger into Kiathu’s chest. “So you volunteered to take her and have her Broken by me? Are you even remembering that I’m in retirement and that I was not going to get back in this Business ever again? Did you even stop to think that after the last time I did it, I wasn’t going to do it again? Do you ever even think?” she accused, rolling from atop her brother and to her feet and beginning to pace angrily around the room.
Rubbing at the gash in his chest, Kiathu sat up and sighed. “I was thinking in the best interests of our second home. If Aeyu was Broken by you, then Astren and Grel’gin would be in our debt and that could be a very useful thing in the future.” He explained as he walked up behind his sister and wrapped his arms around her middle, “I did not mean to offend you Mistress. I was only trying to secure new foundations of protection for those we protect and serve.”
Growling in frustration Kcyaa turned in Kiathu’s arms and faced him. “I love you brother, truly, and while I know that your heart was in the right place I just can’t believe that you didn’t think this over better. But, since I cannot undo this thing you’ve gotten us into, I will see to Aeyu’s reeducation. However, you are going to find me a suitable place to set up shop and you will gather me everything I had in the old palace. No matter the cost or how much you have to haggle.” She hissed between clenched teeth, before drawing his face down to hers and kissing him deeply. Feeling the deep purr that thundered from his chest had her smiling against his lips and chuckling softly as she pulled back from him. “Get to work brother. I want my own place set up in your home by dusk.” She murmured as she turned and walked away from him, heading out the door. She paused as stepped out, leaning back in for a second. “Though, you may want Gyb to help you take care of your friend.” She teased as she closed the door and continued on her way.
Kiathu groaned softly and flopped back down on his bed. His sister was the same as always and even being left in a condition, he couldn’t help but smile and then get back up to complete the tasks Kcyaa had set up for him.
Aeyu awoke slowly, eyes slitting open cautiously as she came into awareness. She remembered what had happened to her the night before and she wasn’t too keen on having the same thing happen to her again so early in the morning. She knew the room was empty, but she also knew that even an empty seeming room wasn’t necessarily such. Rising to her feet she was unimpressed to discover that her clothes were missing and that she now sported two inch wide circlets of the same metal as her collar wrapped around both her ankles and her wrists. Green eyes narrowed in disgust as she tried and failed to break hew new metal bonds.
“You shouldn’t try that.” Lin said from across the room, nodding at Aeyu’s futile attempts to remove her bonds. “The Lady doesn’t like it and she is not very friendly to those who disobey her.” He cautioned softly as he continued to clean and shine his Mistress’s favorite boots and her ever present Katana set.
“How can you sit there and tell me to obey someone else. Weren’t you ever free?” Aeyu accused as she continued to try and free herself.
“Freedom is subjective. I am not what I was once and the Lady protects me and my people. Or She did when I had a true people. You are simply a project for her. And She will be treating you as such, unless you show her that you are worth more than just being of passing interest.”
“Why would I want to be someone’s slave? No one will ever own me as you are owned Slave Boy.”
Gray eyes lit up with a cold anger and Lin set the sword and boots aside as he stood and stalked over the naked female slave that wasn’t looking up to see his approach. “I am not the Lady’s slave. I am her Favored Servant. And you, you ungrateful, worthless, nameless woman, are nothing more than a passing fancy for my Lady and you won’t be anything else, because you will never serve her as well as her Elf Prince or her Red Wolf.” His hand shot forward and he dragged the girl to her feet, ignoring her screech as her wings bent unnaturally behind her. “You are a job for our Lady and you will be Broken and I will mock your torment for your ill treatment of myself, the Lady and your Lord. Your failure to submit to your Suit is your own stupid fault and you will suffer beyond your imagining, because you are too spoilt to see that if you would stop being willful and did for your people more than for yourself you would not be about to be forceful remade in someone else’s ideals.” With a quick movement he threw the girl across the room and into the wall, smirking as her dark head collided with the wall and she squawked in pain.
Aeyu crouched against the wall where the other slave had thrown her. No one had ever treated her so roughly in her whole life and here was a slave throwing her around like a ragdoll and not even being the least bit apologetic about it. Tears welled in her eyes as she tried to get up again but a wave of dizziness stopped her. Reaching back she gingerly touched the space on her head that connected with the wall. Looking at her fingers, she felt her stomach leap to her throat. Her fingers were covered with blood and she could feel more of it slipping down her bare back. The tears spilled down her cheeks and she curled into a ball on the floor. Her head hurt, her heart hurt and there wasn’t even a blanket she could crawl under to hide from the pain.
Sighing Lin let go of his anger and picked up the first aid from beside his chair. It wasn’t right for him to lose his temper, but the other slave annoyed him on a visceral level with her blatant disregard for everyone that didn’t cater to her whims. Gently he uncurled the girl and treated her wound. He wasn’t a cruel person, but being around his Lady had taught him that sometimes it was necessary to act heartless to get a point across and his Lady had left him in charge of her new Pet while she was away and that meant he was to discipline the girl as well as prevent any attempts she made at escape.
After patching the girl up, he tucked a pillow and blanket around her nude form and let her sleep. She didn’t have a concussion and as her head rested in his lap, he almost felt sorry for his earlier actions. Except that he knew she was only being so docile because she was afraid he would lose his temper again and hurt her, not that that was a bad reason for her to behave, he just wasn’t used to making people afraid of him. Heaving a sigh, he called the items he had been mending to him and continued working on them as Aeyu slept on in his lap and he awaited his Mistress’ return.
A/N: And yes, there are fun hints leading to other things I have in the works, but haven't got into a state ready for posting yet. More of my experimenting at work. And mayhap Chapter 4 will be showing up soon. Thanks for reading. ^_^
