Confrontation of the Embarrassed Kind...
Chapter Three: Confrontation of the Embarrassed Kind…
Ashurii felt so good from last night’s “entertainment” that she woke up later than she had planned to. She had told Carol that she would meet her as soon as her high school was out for the day.
Ashurii had a day off from college and fully enjoyed what little time she had to herself these days. Anyway, she scurried as she stuffed three slices of bread down her throat and ran for the E3 bus. She sincerely hoped that she would not be late for meeting with Carol. She knew how ugly her temper could be sometimes…
Cory was having the hardest time concentrating in school. He remembered everything from last night and was still feeling the after-effects even after 18 hours. Teachers of his classes didn’t mind.
As long as he doesn’t do anything wrong to anybody, he can be allowed to do whatever he wants… thought the teachers.
He daydreamed all day and didn’t even look at that damn broad that got him suspended on false charges of harassment. He was having too much pleasure to notice she was glaring at him because he was smiling widely.
Dammit! He’s not even getting upset…he’s ignoring me! Bastard!
He even walked into a few walls thinking about her.
The perfect end to today would be to see Ashurii…but I know she doesn’t visit much. She has college and doesn’t have time for me. If she did come, I would have a hard time talking to her for the simple fact that…I had fun last night…No, it’s better she doesn’t show up. Better for me in the end anyway.
He was glad for the end of the day. He walked towards the exit where the teacher’s parking lot was.
Now I can go relieve myself with the…what the hell?! SHE’S HERE?!
He looked straight ahead and, behold, she was meeting up with Carol. She was walking straight towards him and, for the life of him, he was totally petrified.
Carol’s POV
Ashurii sure seems happier since I got her that headset… thought Carol; her depression looks like it’s backing off. Wait a moment…something’s off. Why is she lowering her head now? And why is she blushing furiously? Weird! We’re walking near Cory and he’s doing the same thing…it can’t be, could it?!
Worry and confusion wracked Carol’s features. Something was going on between those two and she was going to get to the bottom of it before it got progressively worse.
“Ashurii, why are you looking embarrassed?”
Ashurii looks up, fright of being found out etched on her countenance.
“What’s wrong, Ashurii? Did I say something to upset you?” She snickered at the thought of Ashurii stuttering an answer. Maybe she could have some fun with this…
It was then that Carol got the ultimate surprise. Cory got up in her face.
“WHAT DID YOU DO TO UPSET HER, CAROL? YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON YOUR ANSWER…”
“I only asked her why she looked so embarrassed. Why are you defending her anyway?”
“That, Carol, is none of your fucking business.”
What the hell?! He just told me off…That’s it; I’m getting Ashurii’s evil side on him.
“Shurii-kun, please bring Medi-sama out. I need her to kick his ass for being so disrespectful to me.”
“And you really think that I am going to listen to you, you little twit?! He’s mine and I’ll do with him what I want to and not what you want. Understand?!”
Medi NEVER passed up the chance to kill someone before; something was definitely wrong here.
What am I going to do now? Medi’s turned against me; that means so has Ashurii…I better retreat for today. But I am going to get to the bottom of this. Mark my words…
“Ashurii, I just remembered that my mom wants me to help her out at the church tonight. I had totally forgotten. Sorry you came all this way for nothing. Maybe next Friday? See ya!”
She ran out of there so fast that she practically knocked the doors off their hinges.
Ashurii looked in disbelief behind her towards the doors.
Carol sure did get out of here fast. But if I know her, and I definitely do, she’s only making a retreat and is going to figure it out in about two days or so. Oh, well! There goes my plan for secrecy.
“Um, Ashurii? Was it true what Medi said? Am I hers?”
Ashurii spun her neck so fast that she almost had whiplash.
GULP!
Ashurii sighed and closed her eyes. She might as well tell him what he wants to know truthfully. She opened them and was about to say something.
Now where in the hell did he go to? He was just here a minute…ago…Oh, crap! He’s seen the headset! It must have come out of my bookbag…he must know now! Run!
Ashurii turned to run away from the situation when a pair of strong arms stopped any chance of escape. They then turned her around to find brown pools of need, want, and (most of all) pure acceptance and relief. She couldn’t interpret this, though, because of her worry and fear of rejection. Her eyes wondered all over his body wishing that she could be with him even if it was just for five minutes.
But it isn’t to be so, Shurii. He will not accept you because of your weight and evil side…might as well give up while you still have your sanity or what little is left of it.
“I’m so glad you feel the same way about me, Ashurii. Although, I didn’t know you were so kinky all this time…”
Ashurii could not believe her ears. She just stared at him, confused. He laughed and stroked her face.
“Let’s go somewhere quieter to talk. You may not have noticed it but everyone who knows us are staring and eavesdropping on our conversation…”
She looked around. Lo and behold, every teacher she and Cory had ever had, every student that knew them, every security guard that had talk to them, and the principal were staring. Ungracefully at that.
She looked back at him and nodded.
“How about at my house? It’s much quieter and no one knows you there…” Ashuri suggested, “Besides, my mom won’t be home until 11 tonight.”
He smiled at her sneakiness. This could be an interesting night indeed.
“OK. Let’s go, master…”
“Yes, let’s go, my beautiful Adonis…”
They walked out hand in hand to the shock and horror of those present.
The End.
