Thoughtful.
I’m trying to be and look thoughtful.
That way maybe people will think I’m cool but leave me alone, fearing to disturb me.
I’m growing into acceptance, at least I hope so.
I dread the next encounter with my childhood friend (and foe, all in one).
I hope not to get hurt again but it’s really inevitable.
Eating this strawberry-cake made me think.
Memories, both harsh and lovely, encloud my mind.
It was an excellent cake.
