Icafia 3

Chapter by Catt.
----
A young woman pulled up at the light. Straddling her black GSX-R, she pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket, reading it to make sure she was heading out to the right location.

“Stupid backstabbing hussy…” she muttered to herself. The ex-assassin for the Yakuza had just journeyed from Japan in order to seek revenge against the double-crossing bitch that called herself “The Crystal Method”.

“I can’t believe that she would just abandon us like that….” She murmured to no one. She adjusted her beloved katana that was strapped to her side before riding down the road.

Not too long ago, the self-proclaimed goddess and the assassin were comrades, both working and fighting together towards the same cause. But that all changed when the rodent-loving commie Ncolski came into the picture. That was when The Crystal Method set up the assassin and her group and fled to Icafia, leaving them for dead. ‘I vow to end both of their lives with as much pain and as little dignity as possible.’ She thought as she sped through the streets of Icafia.

A couple of minutes later, she arrived at the address that was on the paper, but it looked nothing like the base she imagined it would be. The two guard houses that were at the front on the base were completely destroyed and were still on fire. The gate that was between them was lying flat on the ground. There were men running around frantically, an obvious sign that the base was on full alert.

‘Hm, this makes a sneak attack that much harder…’ she thought. ‘…Bitchin…’ She wheeled her bike over and hid it in some nearby bushes. She then drew her katana and entered the base, being mindful to stay in the shadows and hidden from view.

Moving swiftly along the inside of the base’s walls, she heard two men that were running past. She didn’t have to kill them, but it’s been so long since her last kill and she was getting a bit… bloodthirsty.

She saw a bush nearby and crouched behind it, waiting for the men. ‘Boy do they have a lot of bushes around here,’ she thought. Just before the men ran past, she brought her katana forward and sliced at their legs, cutting them down immediately. Severed legs flew through the air. As they fell forward, she stood up with an upsweeping cut, slicing one in the torso and the other at the neck. Both men were dead before they hit the ground. After cleaning her katana, the assassin spat on the two corpses and quickly and silently ran over to the main building of the complex.

She ran up to the door, trying the lock, which was, of course, locked. The lock looked like what is used on house doors. “Cheap Commies….” she muttered. She took out her aikuchi dagger and swiped it between the door jamb and the door itself. The door popped open like nothing. ‘Easy as pie…’ she thought. She quickly scrambled inside and locked the door. She was in a long dimly lit hallway that had a closed door to the left and a corner to the right. She decided to go to the right. When she got to the corner, she stopped and peered around the corner. Nothing there. Just as she was going to move forward, a pistol touched the back of her head.

“So, we meet again…” the voice said. “I actually thought you were dead for a second. I should have known better.” she drawled in her slightly high pitched voice. “Wait til Ncolski finds my latest catch.”

“Oh, so now you’re in league with that bitch?” The assassin said. She slowly reached for her katana until she heard a series of clicks behind her.

“Ah, ah. I wouldn’t do that if I were you…” said The Crystal Method. “Meet my new squad, the Kumas. The Kumas were armed with a barrage of weapons, ranging from the smallest of handguns to an RPG. It’s times like these that almost makes the assassin wish she specialized in fighting with guns. Almost. There was going to be some serious bloodshed tonight, she was sure of it.

“This is a real oh shit moment….” whispered the assassin just loud enough for everyone to hear as she assumed her battle stance.
