Lucilla called Charlie, who agreed to pick up the children from Day-care and School. Lucilla was in the waiting room, fighting back tears when she saw someone she knew all too well.
\"What are you two doing here?\" Lucilla hissed at Mark and Greg, who were sitting down on a couch close by.
\"We are awaiting to see if we get a son or daughter...\" Mark said, smiling, grabbing Greg’s hand.
\"Wait... you two are...?\" Lucilla felt her jaw drop.
\"Yeah, after prison, we moved up here to start a new life and to raise a family.\" Mark said,
\"And people say prison doesn’t reform people,\" Lucilla said to the two men.
\"Why are you here?\" Mark asked.
\"Raquella had Summer, our daughter... and now she is in surgery...\"
\"She had the baby? It’s too early for her!\" Mark said, counting out the months on his fingers.
\"Yes, and now, she could die if they don’t stop the bleeding...\" Lucilla started to cry again.
A nurse came into the room and looked at Lucilla “Ma’am?”
\"Yes?\"
\"You’re wife is out of surgery now, and she is resting, I’m sorry, we had to take her uterus to save her life...\" The nurse said.
\"She’s alright?\" Lucilla stood up and looked at the nurse. The nurse turned to Mark and Greg, \"Mr. and Mr. Bennett? Congratulations, you’re surrogate just got out of the operation room, you have twins... boys.\"
Lucilla congratulated both Mark and Greg and ran to her wife’s side. She was still out cold from the anesthetic.
\"Raquella...\"
