Here comes the bride, here comes the... other bride????
Chapter Three: Here Comes the Bride... Here comes the... other bride???
(If you aren’t a normal religon buff, don’t read this... It has some ‘odd’ (not that it is) religious doings in the chapter, and if I get five reviews, there will be some tasty Girl on Girl action in the next chapter!)
It was early the next morning when the two women got ready to marry. Both women wore delicate white dresses. At the church was only a handful of family. On Raquella’s side of the church, was Raquella’s cousin, Mitaka, Raquella’s younger sister Nancy, who was about ten, Raquella’s step sister Yurioko, her Uncle Pete, and her grandfather. On Lucilla’s side of the church sat Helen, Susan, Lucilla’s step-father, Chester, her sister, Laciee and both of the women’s friend, Quinta, with her young child, Samual Jr. The ceremony was a traditional Wiccan bonding ceremony, Raquella was the ‘butch’ she held the chalice, and Lucilla held the wand. The two women were somber on the outside but happy on the inside.
The handfasting ceremony went well, and they were happy. The few sparse guests congratulated the couple, then they all went to a small rented room for a reception of traditional, very tasty, very beautiful and natural foods. The couple cut the cake in the traditional way, as well as drinking from the glasses with linked arms, but of course it was with a twist. The cake was a pure and sugar-and-preservative free cake, not in the ‘American’ way, but in the Wiccan way to symbolize that they would never be fake, and the wine was red purified wine that was blessed by a priest and priestess.
The guests were seen on their way back to the states, and Raquella and Lucilla beamed and sent the guests off before walking, in the traditional handfasting manor, back to their humble ‘home’ the hotel room.
Neither of them talked for some time, then Raquella broke the silence with a sigh. Lucilla squeezed her hand. “What are you thinking?”
Luciila beamed and looked down at her frilly dress, “I think that we should find a nice home here, not return to the states at all, you know... call this wonderful place home.”
The sun was shining and the birds were chirping as the newlywed lovers walked towards their hotel room.

“Hit me ‘gin!” Mark drunkenly slurred drunkenly. The bartender gave up some time ago telling the two drunken men no more alcohol. The tender shook his head and filled Mark’s and Greg’s drinks yet again.
“How dare she!” Greg slurred, “I mean, Lucilla, I did propose to her, and she threw the ring back at me...”
“Nah, dude, you have it all wrong...” Mark said, his breath wreaking of alcohol, drinking his beer in one gulp, the tender filled it as soon as he set the empty glass down. “You have to make it so the girl HAS to marry you.”
Greg drank his beer, looking a little ill, “How so?”
“Make sure that the chick doesn’t know you aren’t wearing a condom, or poke a hole in it or something... getting her pregnant works wonders, poof, there you go! Instant bride. She’d be too embarrassed not to marry anyone. She couldn’t let her parents know that she was ‘easy.’”
“But Mark, that didn’t work...” Greg said, taking up his beer glass again, looking at Mark, “Now what?”
“MORE BEER!!” Mark fell off his barstool and landed on his back with a loud thud. Greg laughed drunkenly and looked down at his wasted friend. Mark laughed and said, “Somebody steady this damn chair.”
