That night I picked up my copy of the Stranger's dailys,a more condensed version of the
cities main newspaper,off my doormat.
The vampire singer,Girard jaquet,A member of Bastien's coven And of the band
la petit morte' graces the cover,his chest exposed under a black fishnet shrug,and
wearing low rider leather pants.His long curly black hair lay messy on his shoulders,his
eyes drastically lined with black.
I smile to myself as I drop the mag on the settee and begin thumbing through my vinyl
discs,until I find Le Petit Morte's 'Rouge cerise Morte''EP and throw it onto the record player.
The first song,Lilly white Marie starts as I pick the mag back up and lay down on my bed.

I flip through the pages to the local gossip section.

blocks south from My street Malcolm Down ST on North Burgandy St.

I scanned until I saw all the local celebrities,Lady Victoria Marsh,A provacatuer dancer
at Amytal,Blanche Anettea,Borina Marie,Morgan Lane,Cherry Snow,Lilliana, just a few
Local bleeders,Marguerita Amelie a vampiress with Cerisse Morte clan,Guillamme Michelaut a
Musician with the band The Predatuers,of course Bastien was always front page news,
as s local playboy,Him and other young men of the local clans,Hueget Jaques Guiot,Of
Thibauld,Regenault Le roy also of Thibauld,Denisot Adams Carin of Abel' de Mort.

Then their were the rock n rollers,
the bands,The Predatuers,La petit Morte',de Loys,Peste,Fareflu Blonde,Sanguinare Ange,
Anevrysme,Asthme des Minuers,Main noire,Noire Baiser,Baiser de Morte,tuer le diable,
And many more...This was a great place for rockNroll...

I flipped through the fashion ads,40 watt bulb was the hott fashion shop in town,Their
ads were everywhere!Libertie,My best friend was a model for them,Her picture was always
in the mags...Another good store was Coeur Blesse' just down on Malcolm Down St North.
they also sold all the good records...

I flipped to the front and scanned over the Girard Jaquet interview,titled,en venir au fait,
or,"cut to the heart.".

As I read further He goes on about his love life,Proffessing a love for mortal women,And

I sat up,throwing the mag to the side,I picked up the pink princess phone on my nightstand,
And dialed downstairs to Libertie's room.
