Three

A.N. For those who asked, Sebastian was modeled after a myriad of rock stars. W. Axl Rose in 1987, Vince Neil in 1986, Sebastian Bach in 1989, Nuno Bettencourt in 1992, and Mark Slaughter in 1990, also a dash of raw, dirty-minded Nikki Sixx. He\'s not named after Sebastian Bach of Skid Row. When I stepped back and looked at his character, Sebastian was the only name that fit him. END A.N.

Sebastian tossed a guitar pick across the room in his irritation. “Freakin’ piece of shit,” he muttered, setting his acoustic rather roughly against a wall.

He’d been a fowl mood since the day before, when Lily had sprung her fiancé on him.

That girl had no idea what she did to him. He couldn’t think when she was around. It didn’t help at all that Shawn had asked her to move into the big three story house the band shared.

She was there when he woke up, her scent surrounding him when he went downstairs to relax, her face in his mind when he rehearsed a ballad with the band.

He sighed. There was no hope for any of it.

“Somethin’ wrong, Bastian?”

He sighed irritably. “Not a freakin’ thing.”

Shawn gave him a shit-eating grin and sat in a stool across from him. “Woman trouble?”

“You can talk. You can’t even attract flies.” Sebastian smirked at him.

His comment didn’t phase Shawn, who looked him straight in the eye and returned the smirk. “I take it you met Tom. Lil’s not so stupid to go through with marrying him, so you can stop snapping my head off.”

Sebastian cocked his head and pursed his lips. “You know, you…” He pointed at him in confused irritation. “You are the weirdest person I’ve ever met. Any other guy would’ve gone for my throat over their sister.”

Shawn shrugged. “If it gets rid of her shit-head fiancé, then I’m all for it. Besides, Lil’s good for you.”

Sebastian squared his gaze on Shawn. “And what if I’m not good for her?”

Shawn chuckled. “Then I’ll break your damn neck.”

He nodded, returning Shawn smile. “Well, I could up the ante on ol’ Tom.”

Shawn stood and slapped him on the shoulder. “Now you’re catching on.” With that, he left the studio, leaving Sebastian to think.

It would be fun to watch Tom squirm, but what of Lily. She’d be furious. Where she was concerned, he would just have to turn up the heat. A hot, steamy, fever pitch was what he had in mind.

He headed outside to clear his mind, taking a ride down the highway on his big, chromed out Harley. When he got back, he could hear water splashing from behind the house and knew the guys were partying by the pool.

His harness boots crunched on the rough pavement as he made his way across the driveway and over the grass until he was behind the house.

Frank and Shawn were splashing in the pool and Lily was stretched out on a lounger beneath an umbrella, a thick novel in her hand.

She was so ensconced in her novel, she didn’t hear him when he pulled a chair directly up beside her. He sat, propping his booted feet on the glass table in front of him. He leaned over slightly, reading over her shoulder.

She was reading a boring part. Damn, nothing but talking.

She turned the page.

Ah, yes, here we go.

He could see her skin flush as she read on. She squirmed in her seat, still not noticing him, and he grinned. She was sitting right in front of him, getting turned on by her own imagination.

He blew lightly on her ear. “Warm today, isn’t it,” he murmured deeply, making her jump and clutch the book to her chest.

She heaved a breath. “You scared me.”

He laughed warmly. “I guess I did.”

“How long have you been there?” she asked, biting her lip.

He motioned her forward with a crook of his finger. “The whole time,” he said with a wink.

She blushed and made a quick escape, running into the house.

He trailed her at a lower speed, finding her upstairs in her room, tugging jeans over her boy-short bikini bottoms.

She blushed when she saw him and turned her back. “Could you please leave?”

He stopped right behind her, trailing his index finger along her spine, marveling at her soft skin. “Don’t be embarrassed, Lily.”

Her eyes darted over her shoulder. “Why should I be?”

One arm came around her middle, flattening on her smooth, flat tummy, his fingers spreading over her skin to stroke her. “I like seeing you that way, your skin all hot,” he placed a kiss behind her ear, making her shiver, “pupils dilated,” he whispered. “Your firm little clit throbbing.”

She gasped and pushed away from him. “Don’t say that to me.”

“Why?”

She covered her mouth with a shaking hand and shook her head vehemently. She let her hand drop to wring them in front of her. “I’m engaged to be married, Bastian.”

He smiled with his amusement. “Has he even kissed you?”

She lifted her chin and stiffened her spine. “Tom wants us to wait.”

He lifted his hand, brushing his index finger over her moist bottom lip. “What does Lily want?”

She jerked away before rushing into the en-suite bathroom and slamming the door.

Sebastian grinned to himself. This was going to be easier than he thought.

He was on the bottom step of the staircase when the doorbell rang. Great, all he needed was a raging hard-on and guests to contend with.

He half-thought to let someone else get it, but changed his mind. Only one person came calling everyday at the same time.

He pulled the door open, finding the smaller man on the doorstep, his finger out, ready to ring again.

“What?”

Tom crossed his arms. “I’m here to see Lillian.”

“She’s unavailable.” He kept his tone clipped and short.

“I’ll just go up and tell her I’m here.”

A big hand at the center of his chest stopped his progress and pushed him back a step. “Sorry, pal. New rules. Her brother won’t let anyone in her room alone.\" Sebastian hooked his thumbs in the waistband of his jeans. His time as a bouncer in Detroit was paying off.

He looked ready to protest, but Sebastian straightened himself to his full height, over a head taller than the other man.

“Tell her I’ll call.”

“Right.” He slammed the door shut and made it two steps before he laughed himself silly.
