The Black Knight Revealed
~~~
*The meeting had just come to a close. Daniel and Archer were standing around conversing with Faren, Bernard and a few others, while most of the people went home to their families.*
Faren: Why do you two always hang around here instead of going home to your families.
Archer: I haven\'t got any family, nor anyone else, cept Daniel.
Daniel: Yeah, we\'re kind of each other\'s family *laughs*
Faren: My wife is at home with my young son, but they understand and support what I\'m doing here. If we can ever overthrow the king then we will have so much of a better life.
*Just then the sound of a horse could be heard trotting towards them. They all stepped right outside the door, just in time to see a figure ride up on a horse, then dismount from the white steed. The figure though, was in full body black armor, with slight patches of brown for the underclothing showing through in some places. He also had a helmet on that covered all, even his eyes couldn\'t be seen through the guard that covered them. He was a taller person, with a fairly strong build to him. He stood and looked down at all of them.*
Faren: Welcome sir knight.
Daniel: *looks up at the knight* Yeah, you\'re extremely late.
Black Knight: I had some business to attend too.
Faren: The Black Knight is never late. He comes when he is needed. *smiles over at Daniel*
Daniel: Yeah, yeah. *looks the black knight up and down* He\'s quite a good looking guy ya know.
*Daniel walked over next to him and looked him up and down.*
Daniel: Course you do look better without all that armor or you know. *rolls his eyes*
Black Knight: That may be so, but I\'m not removing it.
Daniel: We could have some fun *smirks*
*The Black Knight began to follow Faren into the house, along with Bernard. Daniel looked up and shook his head as the knight and the other two disappeared back into the house. Archer still stood beside Daniel. He didn\'t like him flirting,... although he always did with other guys. Sometimes Archer felt like he wanted them to be more than just friends. But he figured Daniel didn\'t want that.. As he was lost in thought he felt something grab him from behind, and he was pushed forwards up towards Daniel. Their lips met and the kiss pressed closer with bruising force. Daniel slid one hand down the back of Archer\'s pants and ran his hand down, pressing one of his fingers into him suddenly.*
Archer: Ahhh!
*Archer looked up at Daniel. He knew he liked all the sounds that came from his mouth, even though he wasn\'t in all that much pain from it. Daniel kissed Archer again, moving down his neck and sucking lightly as he went. His other hand reached into Archer\'s pants in the front and started to stroke him roughly. Archer moaned up into Daniel\'s mouth, pressing against him. He really didn\'t care whether they were out in the open or not,... or that there were people right in the house near them who could walk out at any minute. The whole risk just made it more appealing.*
Archer: Ughh,.... Dan,.... uh!
*Archer\'s words were caught in his throat as Daniel pushed him back against a tree. He had pulled down his pants enough to remove him from them, and had his mouth around his length within seconds. Archer pushed his hips forwards towards Daniel, putting his hands on the back of his head and running them through his brown hair. Daniel moved his tongue along Archer\'s length, slipping him in and out of his mouth slowly. He made his way back up to the tip and sucked on the end gently.*
Archer: Ahhh,... God!
*Archer cried out, as he felt his body start to shake. He felt himself come, Daniel still sucking on him, this time more powerfully. Archer felt his body jump as he let himself go, and then slowly slow down. He started to slump down against the tree, but Daniel held his hips up, then moved his mouth away from him. Daniel moved back up and kissed Archer as he fixed up his pants.*
Daniel: We should take this someplace more comfortable.
*Daniel grinned down at Archer, who was at a loss for strength at the moment. Daniel looked down at him and picked him up, throwing him over his shoulder.*
Archer: Hey! I can walk you know!
Daniel: Yeah, but you need all the strength you have right now for what I\'m going to do to you.
*Archer felt his face flush just a little bit. He allowed himself to be carried,... as Daniel made his way back to the cabin that they shared.*
*My father often warned me about going outside alone. That the townspeople might not be so friendly to the royal family. And if I were to run into any rebels,... I could very well find myself with a knife through my heart. But with all that in mind I still snuck out of the castle, past the door guards and onto the streets. It was just evening, and getting dark a bit. There weren\'t a whole lot of people out, besides the vendors and the occasional drunk alcoholics. I always wondered what was so bad about the people that my father thought they needed to be controlled, or destroyed. Course I would never ask my father these kinds of questions. He would give me a few good punches for even bringing the subject up. I had learned that if I wanted to find anything out, I had to do it myself. I had done this before, walked around the small towns near us, nothing bad had ever happened to me. ,.... yet. That was until tonight. While I was walking a faint noise caught my ears. I turned my head quickly as an arrow made its way past my head and into the door of a house behind me. I turned and looked, a little shaken from the ordeal, but saw the arrow imbedded in the wood. That could have been me,... I was too busy looking to think where it had come from, when suddenly I felt something cut over the skin of my arm. I let out a faint cry from the surprise, and held onto my upper arm. There was another arrow in the door, but the point had sliced across my arm, cutting through my sleeve as it allowed the blood to run down. I finally snapped back into reality and backed away from the house. I moved back until I hit a stone wall behind me, and found that was trapped in a small alcove. I waited,... expected to die within a few moments, then there was the sound of horses running. I looked out of the alcove to see knights from the castle,... my father\'s knights, stampeding through the village and attacking a set of villagers that had come out of all the homes. They must have been rebels,... maybe they hadn\'t seen me hide back here and I was safe for now. But the knights from the castle,... they weren\'t there to battle,... they were there to kill. The knights just killed people left and right, women,... children,... those who weren\'t even fighting. They raided into the homes and were destroying everything.*
\"That\'s right men! Burn down this God forsaken village! We\'ll kill them all!\"
*I recognized that evil voice,... one I cringed at the sound of. Regan. He was leading all the knights into the battle. He was leading all the killing and the massacre that was occurring here. My eyes surveyed the entire group of knights,... thankfully Altair wasn\'t there with them. He never did seem to agree with the slaughter than this was. Or the fighting in general. I stepped out into the battles, my arm was only hurting slightly now, I had forgotten about the pain for the most part. I stopped in front of Regan, whose horse reared up and stopped abruptly.*
Count Regan: Prince Joseph?! What are you doing out here!?
Joseph: What are you doing?! You\'re killing innocent people,... this isn\'t war, this is slaughter... these people are fighting you out of defense!
*Regan looked down at me and scoffed, like he couldn\'t believe I was actually saying these things to him. He kind of kept his eyes on me for a while, when suddenly an arrow came down from above and hit his horse\'s leg. The horse fell down, throwing Regan off of it and he rolled onto the ground. Had it not been for the dire situation I would have laughed at the sight. I saw Regan stand up and pull himself to his feet. There was a figure up on a rooftop, who had been shooting the arrows the whole time. His body was cloaked in the shadow of the night. I looked over and saw Regan staring at something in front of him. About 5 feet away was a figure, clad in black armor with a helmet covering his head, and a long broadsword in hand. He stepped forwards towards Regan.*
Count Regan: You must be this Black Knight I\'ve heard rumors about. *looks him up and down* You won\'t last a minute with me in battle. I\'m a champion swordsman.
*Regan threw his sword up and caught it by the grip as it came down. He flipped it around a few ways, catching it expertly. His opponent, the Black Knight, seemed unfazed by the actions. But he never spoke, he was quiet for the whole battle. I watched as him and Regan started to fight. But what was the whole deal with the Black Knight,... I had heard he was a warrior for the rebels, but had never seen him in person. I tried to stand out of the way of the fight, off to the side. I looked up when I felt something wet hit the top of my head. It started to rain, then pour down harder. My eyes shifted back up to the fight, which was now held over a ground full of mud. A battle raged on around Regan and the Black Knight. Suddenly the horsemen were being taken down one by one by archers up above the roof tops. Regan was nearly the only one left standing. I remember watching the fight still, then suddenly something,... struck the back of my head,... I remember everything just going black.*
*The Black Knight broke his gaze from his opponent as he was fighting Regan, to look over at Joseph who had fallen down. A villager was near him, ready to hit him again with a large staff that he had. As the knight\'s back was turned Regan brought his sword down, piercing through the knight\'s shoulder. The Black Knight let out a yell, as the sword was still in him. He pulled back quickly, looking down where the sword had gone right between the armor plates. He stepped back, holding his shoulder. Regan took a step, but was halted by an arrow that struck the ground in front of himself. He valued his own life too much to bother with killing the Black Knight. Regan glared at the night, then turned and ran towards another horse, and the army from the king started to disperse. The Black Knight watched his enemies retreat, and went over to Joseph who was still unconscious. He leaned down and picked up the prince painfully, his shoulder still bleeding from the wound he had received. Nonetheless he picked up Joseph, and started to walk into the darkness.*
*I couldn\'t remember exactly when I came too. I had heard noises as I was unconscious, slipping in and out of my mind. I heard voices, and saw flashes of different things. One of them being a black figure that seemed to be moving with me,... actually he had been carrying me. Or so I guessed. I woke up on a soft bed,... looking up at the ceiling that was above me. I saw figures nearby, one person was at my side and putting a bandage around my arm where I had been cut. The black knight was also there. I looked up and saw his figure standing off to the side. Although he was still clad in his armor and cloaked by the helmet. He faced me as our eyes met, and he walked over to the edge of the bed and looked over at me.*
Daniel: I can\'t believe you brought him here! Of all places, Christ, why not somewhere else.
Archer: If Faren found out about this we\'d be in deep shit.
*The smallest person there was bandaging my arm, while a taller one stood and was yelling at the Black Knight. I knew neither of them, nor who the Black Knight was.*
Joseph: Where,... am I,...
*The tall one looked down at me and rolled his eyes. He kept an eye on me the whole time I was there.*
Daniel: You would be dead right now if it wasn\'t for the idiot here.
*Daniel nodded up to the Black Knight.*
Daniel: And I did mean that as a bad thing. You\'re our prisoner, got that?
*He grabbed a coil of rope and came over to me. He pulled my arms up to the posts and tied them, along with my ankles at the bottom.*
Archer: Hey! Daniel, calm down all right? Nothing\'s going to happen.
Daniel: Like you know Archer.
*I didn\'t fight to being restrained. I knew there wasn\'t much I could do about it. And if this Black Knight person could nearly beat Regan in a swordfight, then I knew I couldn\'t take him. I looked up at the Black Knight, who had leaned down so he could come face to face with me.*
Daniel: Hey *nods to the knight* Watch him, we\'ll be back.
*Daniel and Archer picked up a few things and walked out of the small room. I had no idea where I was, or anything,... just that I was in a room and now tied down to the bed. I looked up and over at the Black Knight, and saw through the helmet to his blue eyes.*
Joseph: Your eyes,... they remind me of a friend,...
*I put my head back onto the bed, realizing that I might actually never see Altair again,... I probably wouldn\'t make it out of this place alive.*
Black Knight: ,... I should hope so.
*The Black Knight reached down and pulled off the helmet that covered his head slowly. He had long blonde hair that fell down behind in a familiar ponytail, and his bright eyes shone out now. I looked up,... but didn\'t believe at the same time,... how could,... but it was,...*
Joseph: ,.... Altair,...
