It rains on angels

Chapter Three: It rains on angels

Back again with chapter three of Forbidden Love. In one of my reviews it was requested that I post any other works that I have done and I only have one other called Blood Lust, which I’m still working on. Anyway let’s get on with the chapter.

“” Signifies speech
// Signifies thought

Morning had come all to soon for Toya who was awakened by the bright light of the day as the curtains of his Victorian windows were pulled back.
“Good morning young master.” Rina greeted with a smile as she set a breakfast tray on the bedside table. “I trust you slept well.”
“Yes, very well thank you. How was your night?” Toya questioned as he reached over and grabbed his glass of orange juice. His soft blue hair was slightly messy as were his pj’s, a black silky shirt with matching pants.
“Didn’t get much sleep last night. My husband kept kicking me so I had to sleep on the couch.” Rina replied as she retrieved Toya’s uniform.
“Next time make him sleep out on the couch.” Toya said with a smile as Rina laughed softly.
“I’ll remember that young master. You eat up now and get ready for the day. Your father is here this morning.” At this Toya perked up and set about eating his breakfast.

Soon Toya stood before his father fully dressed and ready for the school day.
“Ah Toya my son. I am glad I was able to see you this morning.”
“It is good to see you as well father since I rarely ever do.” Toya’s father was a sophisticated man with his neatly trimmed hair and thin glasses. He wore a dark suit and was sitting at a desk in his den looking through some papers.
“You are angry with me.” Toya’s father stated as he looked up from his papers. “Is that why you are not wearing your cufflinks?”
“Not angry father though a little disappointed and that has nothing to do with the cufflinks. They are an entirely separate matter.” Toya replied having gained his father’s full attention.
“You are upset about yesterday…”
“I do believe I have the right. Not one but two promises you broke yesterday.”
“Yes I know and I am truly sorry my boy but I do have a lot of work I have to do.”
“I do understand that father but it still does not ease my pain. I just wish we could spend a day together. We have not visited mothers grave in a long time.” At this they both grew silent. Finally Mr. Seichiro spoke.
“The cufflinks…are they not to your liking?”
“They are a nice gift father but I cannot bare to wear them as they irritate my wrists.” To emphasize his point the Toya showed his father the light rashes on his wrists from the previous day.
“I see. Shall I have them placed in a glass case for you then?”
“That would be fine father.”
“Now…don’t you have school you must be getting to?” Glancing up Toya realized his father was right.
“Good bye father. Have a good day.” The youth said as he made his way to the door.

The day had gone by slowly and though it started out as a nice enough day by the time lunch rolled around it had begun to rain. Toya had been more than disappointed when he had been unable to locate the redheaded beauty to join him for lunch but he took the opportunity to learn more about the boy. Hijiri, it seemed, had biology with the angel but never heard the boy talk much. Bakari said that Kira seemed more like the quiet shy type from what she had seen even though others argued that he was just stuck up. And Kuchi confirmed that the youth had yet to attend his gym class because he hurt his ankle in the summer. From there the day went on and Toya couldn’t help but feel that he had lost his chance. Booradon was a very large school and the redheaded beauty could be anywhere.

The end of the day soon came and the rain had begun pouring harder and the blue haired boy believed it matched his mood. He was silent as he sat in the back of the limo with his head hung. It was only by chance that he looked up at the perfect moment.
“Jo stop the car!” There, walking in the rain, was the angel he had encountered the day before. He looked more beautiful now, with water falling around him, than he had the day before. Quickly, and without much thought, Toya stepped out of the car and made his way across the street to where Kira was walking. As he drew closer his heart began to beat faster and he was unsure of what he would say. Luckily the words came for him.
“Excuse me!” Toya called out softly and the beauty stopped and looked over at him.
“Are you walking to me?” Kira’s voice was more lovely than Toya could of imagined and it took all of his will power not to start blushing and stuttering. However, before the blue haired youth could speak, Kira continued. “Hey you’re the guy who almost ran into me yesterday.” At this Toya’s head fell. What a way to be remembered.
“Yes that was me. I meant to apologize for that but I was in a bit of a hurry.” Toya replied as he looked up at the drenched boy. His uniform was clinging deliciously to his body and small drops of water fell from the tips of his hair.
/He’s gorgeous and wet. He shouldn’t wear those wet clothes. He could get sick. Perhaps I should help him undress…/ Realizing what he was thinking the blue haired boy shook his head before continuing. “If you like I can offer you a ride to apologize for my rudeness.” Kira seemed to think about this for a moment before answering.
“Alright.”

Toya could have died happy right then as he led the boy to his car.
“Is something wrong master Toya?” Jo questioned as he and Kira slipped into the car.
“No, everything is fine. I just couldn’t let my friend here walk around in the rain.” Toya replied before turning to said friend. “Where can we drop you off?”
“1007 Lily Brook.” The redhead replied as he shook his head in an attempt to dry of his hair somewhat.
“Sounds like a nice place.”
“It’s alright. I’m Kira by the way. Kira Majen.” The beauty stated as he offered his hand. Toya refrained from telling the other that he already knew his name as it would seen very odd and possibly creepy.
“Toya Seichiro.” The youth replied as he accepted the redhead’s hand with a smile. Upon feeling how cold the boys hand was he turned to the front of the car. “Jo could you turn on the heat please?”
“Of course master Toya.” Since the car had been running for awhile the two boys didn’t have to endure the cold bursts of air that would usually come before the heat itself.
“That should help warm you up. What were you doing walking out in the rain anyway?”
“I enjoy walking so I usually walk to and from school each day. I just didn’t listen to my dad when he said it might rain today.” Kira replied as he placed his hands over the heater.
“If I could I’d walk to school and back but my father insists that I get a ride.”
“If I had a car like this I wouldn’t complain.”

The interior of the car was all black and thought it wasn’t a huge limo it certainly had a lot of space. Directly in front of the boys was a small fridge that held all sorts of beverages and snacks and next to that was a coffee machine though Toya never really got the point to it. The seats were a soft black fabric since the blue haired youth had things against peeling himself off of his seat in the summer. Toya couldn’t help but beam at Kira’s praise of the car and all to soon they reached the redhead’s house.
“You live here?” Toya questioned as he peered out his window. The house was a lovely affair with two stories and a grand balcony. It wasn’t a mansion as Toya’s home was but the blue haired boy knew he’d much rather live in a quaint home like Kira’s.
“Yep this is the place.” The green eyed boy replied as he grabbed his bag.
“It’s splendid.”
“It’s not all that great. We’ve got a leaky faucet upstairs that drips all night long and a few stains on the carpet from when I was little but I think we’re going to be replacing that carpet soon.”
“It’s a home with problems. My home has no problems as we fix them immediately.” It was then that Toya felt very jealous of Kira. Why couldn’t his house have leaky faucets and stains on the carpet from when he was little? The answer to that was only obvious. They never really stayed in one place for a long period of time and if they did his father would make sure to have everything fixed and perfect. Sure it sounded odd but Toya wanted household problems too.
“Thanks for the ride.” Kira said as he opened his door to step out.
“Wait!”
“Yeah?”
“I was…uh…wondering if you wanted to eat lunch with my friends and I tomorrow. I know I was terribly rude the other day and a ride home doesn’t seem to be enough of an apology.”
/Yeah good one Seichiro. Lure him in with the same old thing./ Toya scolded himself as he waited for Kira’s answer.
“Ok then. Sounds good to me.”
“Great I’ll wait for you by the cafeteria doors.”

Ha ha ha ha yes I be very evil >.> I couldn’t help but leave it there for two reasons. Slight cliff hanger and because my brain died right then >_< Anyway that’s where I’m leaving it and please read and review ^,^
