Blood Lust

Chapter Three

Ha I’m such a bastard. I know I know, a horrible cliffhanger but I couldn’t help it. Anyway this is chapter three to Blood Lust, I do hope you’re all enjoying it thus far and I promise more yummy stuff as soon as I possibly can. Again All the characters in this story belong to me and if you use them without my permission I shall watch you from the shadows until the opportune moment where I’ll leap out and munch on your head.

“Hey you want a piece of me? Well bring it on!” Horrified, Inochi spotted Sai in the middle of the action. Being drunk obviously made him feel invincible though his invincibility didn’t last long as he got hit rather hard with a flying chair. Doing his best to go unnoticed, Inochi rushed to his fallen friends side.
“Oh my god! Sai please wake up. Oh please!” Inochi had never been so scared in his life, around him was gunfire and screaming. Many people had escaped and the others were trying to escape though their chances seemed to be slim to none as many of them were riddled with bullets. Trying to move Misairu from view Inochi was inevitably spotted.
“What do we have here?” The attacker approached Inochi with obvious glee at the brunette’s fear.
“Leave me alone!” Inochi yelled as he tried to back away. Tears streamed down his face as he was picked up by his neck, causing him to raise his hands and wrapped them around his attackers arm.
“My what a pretty boy you are.” The man said huskily as he used his free hand to skim down Inochi’s body.
“Please…don’t” Inochi managed to say as he shut his eyes to try and block it out.
/This can’t be happening. Oh someone please help me./ Suddenly a loud shot was heard and Inochi was released and fell to his knees. Opening his eyes Inochi saw that his attackers head had been blown open.
“Are you trying to get killed?” Looking up the brunette saw Jenzi holding a rather large gun.
“Y-you saved me.”
“Don’t reach to into it. Come on, let’s get out of here.” Jenzi said as he reached out and grabbed Inochi’s arm.
“No! Not without Misairu.” Inochi protested as his chocolate orbs locked with Jenzi’s crimson ones.
“Fine. I’ll carry him but we must be quick.” Bending down the dark haired stranger tucked his gun in his pocket before picking up Sai as gently as he could before making his way to a back exit with Inochi close behind. Finding the door locked Jenzi turned to the brunette.
“My gun. You have to shoot the lock.” He stated. Hesitantly Inochi reached for the others gun and aimed as best he could for the lock. Taking his first shot he missed.
“Come on. Try again.” Jenzi urged as he checked back to see if they had been spotted yet. Inochi felt so nervous and afraid but he tried again. He had to get Sai out of here. Aiming again he was able to hit the lock, busting it open. “Quickly, go through.”

Once outside the dark haired stranger made his way over to a black car and motioned for Inochi to open the back seat. Slipping Misairu inside, Inochi and the other got in. The brunette wasn’t sure whether or not he could trust this guy but at the present moment he had no choice. Buckling up he gave a glance back at his friend before the sped off. Facing forwards Inochi drooped his head and held his hands in loose fists in his lap. A light sigh was heard before Jenzi handed Inochi a tissue.
“Here.”
Looking up Inochi slowly reached out and took it with a small thanks as a few tears rolled down his cheeks before he quickly wiped them away.
“So you have a name kid?”
“I’m not a kid, you hardly look two years older than me. My name is Inochi, Inochi Usagi.” Inochi stated. “You’re name is Jenzi right? That’s what they called you in the bar.”
“That’s right. Jenzi Raikou and I’m a lot older than you think.”
“Thank you for helping us Jenzi but…could I ask why you did?”
“Would you rather of gotten raped and killed?”
“How do I know that you won’t rape a kill me?”
“If you honestly thought I would then why did you get into my car?” At this Inochi fell silent. He didn’t really think Jenzi would hurt him since he had helped him but something about the dark haired guy felt dark. Jenzi let out a small breath before speaking. “In the bar, when the people were being attacked…you ran to help your friend even though there was a good chance you could have been killed. You put yourself in harms way to protect him…that’s why I helped you and also…”
“Also what?”
“Also…I wanted to apologize for today, when I bumped into you. You said before that you have apologized for what you had done. It’s only right that I do the same.” Inochi couldn’t help but smile softly as he looked back at Sai who let out a small groan.
“Uhn…come on baby…take your shirt off…”
“Sai!” Inochi yelled as he thumped his friend on the leg causing him to let out a small snort as he jerked upright.
“Huh? Hey where’s the chicks?” The violet haired boy asked before his eyes began to focus and landed on Jenzi. “Hey what are we doing driving around with jerk face?”
“This is Jenzi. He helped us.” Inochi stated shooting his friend a glare.
“Saved us? You mean from those assholes that crashed the party? I could have taken them out one by one if that guy hadn’t attacked me from behind.”
“Now that’s something I very much doubt.” Jenzi stated as he turned down to the right to get away from the center of town as he knew police would be arriving at the bar any minute and he really didn’t want to get pulled over.
“Who asked you jerk face?”
“You want me to dump you off in the middle of the street cause I will.”
“Misairu, Jenzi stop it. Sai you have to realize that Jenzi is helping us, and Jenzi you have to realize that Sai is just a little drunk.”
“I could tell by the way he smells.”
“You got something you wanna say to me?”
“Stop fighting!” Soon the car fell silent before Inochi turned to Jenzi. “Now, we know those guys were after you. Do you know why?”
“I screwed up on one of my jobs, that’s all. Where should I drop you guys off?”
“Oak wood street.” Sai piped up. It was actually a couple blocks from his house and it was obvious he didn’t want Jenzi to know where he lived.
“So you’re part of a gang or something?” Inochi asked cautiously. Jenzi really didn’t seem to be the talking type and he didn’t want to anger him.
“I guess you could say that. Tell me, what have you heard about the vampire attacks?”
“Vampire attacks? A few years ago there was a massive attack. It was said that more that two hundred people were killed and fifty others were reported as missing.” Inochi replied. “After that a raid was constructed to destroy the vampires, to stop the attacks. Once that was done no one saw another vampire since. What does that have to do with you?”
“Let’s just say that we’re making a come back.”
“We’re?” At this Jenzi turned to Inochi with a smirk on his face, a smirk that showed his pearly white fangs.
“You’re a…a vampire?” Inochi asked as his eyes widened.
“Holy shit man. Are you telling me we’re riding around with a fucking vampire dude!?” Up ahead some police car lights were flashing and it seemed that a few officers were doing a vehicle check for drunk drivers.
“Quiet, both of you.” Jenzi whispered as they pulled up and stopped. The officer tapped on the window and he slowly rolled it down only to be flashed in the eyes with the officers flashlight.
“Any of you boys been drinking?”
“Just the idiot in the back.”
“Hey who the hell are you calling an idiot jerk face?” Hearing Misairu speak the officer flashed his light on him. “Ow! Jeez man ever hear of low beams?”
“Sai shut up.” This time it was Inochi’s turn to be blinded
“Something wrong boy?” Obviously the officer had noticed the brunettes puffy eyes and tear stained cheeks.
“Can we go already? We haven’t done any drinking so you have no reason to hold us hear.” Jenzi piped up, obviously getting a little impatient.
“You’ve got quite the attitude boy.”
“Uh I have to apologize for him. See I finally convinced him to take me out to dinner and the movies and things just having been going right all night that’s all.” Inochi explained as he scooted closer to the other and placed a hand on his shoulder. “Don’t get mad babe, I did promise to make it up to you.” He purred as he slid his hand along Jenzi’s arm, secretly relishing the feeling of his hard muscles under his delicate hand.
/Babe?/ Misairu thought as he watched this happen and wisely chose to stay quiet.
A look of disgust crossed the officers face as he waved them through.
“Alright you boy go on now you hear.” Nodding the dark haired vampire drove off as Inochi slid back into his seat.
“I’m sorry.” He said softly.
“For what?
“For doing that. It was the only thing I could think of to get us out of that situation. Most cops are real homophobes.” Inochi explained as he looked out the window.
“You don’t have to be sorry Inu. After all it did work.” Misairu stated. “But what was with the ‘babe’ comment? You cheating on Tsuki?”
“Shut up Sai, it was only an act.” Inochi stated quickly as a blush crossed his face.
“Tsuki?” Jenzi questioned as he pulled onto Oak Wood Street.
“He’s Inochi dream lover.” Sai teased as he opened his door.
“Sai!”
“It’s true.” Shaking his head Inochi just looked at Jenzi and forced a smile.
“Thank you for the ride and helping us tonight.” He said as he opened his door and stepped out.
“Yeah thanks and such…” Sai muttered as he tried to stand but fell to his knees from the pain in his back.
“Misairu!” Quickly the brunette rushed to his friend and helped him up.
“Listen you two, I’d watch my back if I were you. They know what you look like.” Jenzi warned. Nodding, Inochi turned down the street.
“Let’s go home Sai. Jenzi…” He began as he looked back at the other. “you be careful too.” He wasn’t sure why he had said that but the brunette was truly thankful for the others help, even if he was a vampire. Jenzi gave a small nod of his own before driving off.
“Jerk…”
“Hush. We have to get you home so that you can rest.”


Mua ha ha ha. So did you like it? A few small hints of fluff but I promise there shall be more than that later one. This chapter was actually originally longer but when I read over what I had wrote I realized that most of it was just useless crap so I cut it down. Anyway please read and review ^_^ I always love to hear from people.
