CHAPTER TWO: BLUE YONDER
Within a few seconds, the flame from the torch shot forwards. I looked in amazement as the flame came at a great speed close to my head, the force of the air blowing my hair back. My whole head had lit up in the glow from the fire. My ceiling light flickered, because of all the extra energies gathering together in the one room. The flame came out of the mirror missing me by an inch, going straight to the light bulb. It crackled and popped its way down the electricity supply, the flames travelling along the wire. There was a very loud popping noise, which made me jump. The light bulb fizzed and hissed before it too went out.
Man that was wicked!
It did not occur to me straight away that I was in darkness. It seemed along time that I was stood there sta at at the mirror. I was watching a strange light dancing here and there in the mirror. It glowed a peculiar light before giving me the impression that it was looking at me.
I turned around at that point and made my way out of the room. What light was left in the room aided me. I went down stairs to the kitchen and checked the fuse box. It seemed it was just the upstairs supply that was affected. I pushed up the trip switch but only a couple of lights came back on. My room and the landing where still in darkness. When the lights came back on, I straightened myself out and made my way back upstairs.
I looked at the mirror. The light had gone. I stood there with my arms folded, feeling a little bewildered because it was so pretty. “And dangerous,” I heard a faint voice on the breeze.

I decided that night to pack my bags and keep them in the cupboard or at least somewhere if I ever needed them in a hurry. I also got out my candles and my flameproof gear… hmmm what flameproof gear? I was about to find out.
I stepped into a circle of salt and placed a candle at the ends of the cross in four places. I lit each candle, muttering incantations of spirit in Latin. I sat cross-legged in the middle and meditated for an hour before standing up and bowing, my hands together in a prayer.
In the next instant, one by one the candles blew out. A breeze whirled round the outside of the circle.
A face appeared out of the shadows. The swirling mist spiralled upwards and outwards. In the mist the face came nearer and sneered.
I could feel myself rising outwards and upwards. I let myself go up, coming out of my body. I was walking on the air and my body was stood stationary on the ground. I could see myself muttering Latin, keeping a fixed gaze on the face.
I looked at myself in the mirror. Cool dude! I wore a black suit with ribbon edging and a black belt around the waste. My hair was tied up in a bun and I had a garrotte plaited within the bun. My boots were of pure velvet satin and lacy. That was how I liked them, cute and sexy!
I carted myself off on the bow and bowed to my double still stood in the circle of salt.
I stood face to face with the man in the mist. It was James. I might have known. I half knew but ho beo be sure.
“You just missed him,” he said looking into my eyes
“Sure,” I replied, disbelieving him, “I thought you where the face.”
“No, I swear, you just md hid him by an inch.”
“Hmm”
“You look like a cool dude, as if you didn’t already know,” he said smiling at me.
“I still think you are the face,” I wasn’t having any of it.
“Why do you think that?”
“use use you are here and so was the face,” I looked at him coolly.
“Ah, but why assume the face is me?”
“Because you are like the devil you would know these things,” I stood with my hands on hips glaring at him.
“What makes you so sure?”
“Because you are like the one armed bandit that scours the universe for objects of desire.” I said bluntly.
“Am I an object that you desire?” he quizzed. He held his gaze steady to mine, like in a mortal combat of wills.
I looked him up and down and let my eyes bore into his.
“Is this what you desire?” I lifted up my top to reveal my breasts, the nipples pert against the tanned skin.
“You are like the wanton slayerette that I know you to be,” he drawled, “you have not changed Heramed!”
“Who?” I quizzed.
“You!”
I looked up and down his tall lean length and noticed the bulge between the thighs. It was tight. Man the trousers must have made them hurt when he put them on, they were almost like tights against his bare skin. What funny costumes these folk wear on their nights out! He was wearing a pair of tight creamy coloured trousers and a silk robe of gold with gold lace around the bodice.
“I have always been here Magda. What took you so long to find me?”
“I had things to do,” He came up to me slowly but surely, not leaving eye contact.
“You have not changed my dear, horny as hell I hope,” he sauntered up close to me, rubbing his length against my body. We were walking on the air, our bodies pressed against the wall, it bulging outwards behind us taking our weight.
As our bodies entwined, a bright light shone from within, consuming us. A bright brilliant blue light, that swirled around us and caged us in a dome shape. With that it flew off into the night sky.
“Wait, hold on James!”
“What happened to face?”
“Oh damn!” he looked at me, “ I thought you might have forgotten that.”
“How remiss of you!” I said.
I went to get my garrotte from my hair. As I had my arm raised to get it he grabbed it and pinned me back, his hand rng dng down the length of my arm and onto my breasts.
“And what little game is this you’re playing my dear?” he kissed me on the cheek, working his way to my mouth.
“Mr Face man, do not play with fire and what you do not know, your balls do not know the difference between a hit and a miss!”
“Oh! My dear come, come. Let’s level. You know me well enough to know that I am not Face. I merely happened to arrive a split second after it.”
“So you say, Mr Face Man!”
He lent towards me capturing my mouth in a passionate kiss that consumed me. The blue light around us sparked approvingly. His hands smoothed out rubbing my nipples against his palm. I fell backward, my knees buckling.
My arms went round his head in a passionate lock. I could not resist that kiss. It was deep and satisfying. I had not been kissed for so long, it was like nectar sweet and supple.
There was a faint hissing sound, like a groan of desire. A puf bil bilious yellow smoke came out from James’ side. I could smell this.
As I was kissing “James”, I reached behind me to get my sword of stone. It was embedded with crystals and a Jupiter Moon. I lifted it up silently like a hunter and plunged it into his back.
The hissing grew deeper and the face leered at me.
“Damn you, Heather!”
“I knew it couldn’t be James, he is away.”
The face came out of the casket, which took place in seconds. He transfigured back into the swirling mist that I had seen in the vortex.
“You wont be needing lemons!” I said sternly back.
“Man, you suck!”
I kicked face as hard as I could. It was Mar’dalanda. Most wanted on the hit list. He toppled backward the force was so great, bursting through the seams of the blue light. I heard a hiss and a pop then silence.
I heard a faint murmuring, “I will be back, and in your darkest hour I will be back!”
I stood in the circle of salt, a far away look in my eyes, murmuring incantations of spirit in Latin. I could see a blue swirling light around me outside the circle of salt. My passion had glowed into a white ball that remained spinning around me. The air was balmy and my hands were slightly sticky. I could feel wetness between my thighs but took no notice as I was fixed on the blue swirling light around me.
Man that was wicked!
