Chapter Three
Chapter 3.
Alexis surfed the internet for the best looking person she could find. There was no way she was actually going to send a real picture of herself to a man she had never even met. Anyway if he did see a picture of her he would never speak to her again. Alexis knew exactly what she looked like and had no pre conception of being attractive. She was slightly over weight and nothing above ordinary. This man though sounded as though he was something special .She could just picture him now. Tall with dark hair and deep dark eyes. She could tell that is voice would be like velvet. Smooth to touch and also captivating.
Finally giving up Alexis made the only choice she had. To show him what he was really asking for .Her, and all that came with that. Maybe he would be one of the good guys and would except her for what he was and not what she looked like.
Theo sat at the desk in his office. fat father had recently asked him to go through the accounts over last few months to find any kinks in the armour. Finding none Theo sat and re-read some of the conversations he had shared with Alexis. He loved that name and from what he knew of the owner he ad feelings for her too. It was hard to imagine that a man in his place in life ,working as hard as he did, could find time to actually become involved with a girl who lived so far away from him. She had made him feel things he had never felt before. When she had explained her situation to him about the girls that were constantly getting at her, he ad shed a tear for the constant suffering she was being put through. He got mad when she had explained her mothers attitude towards the problem. Theo would have liked nothing more then to go and sort the problem but himself he would show the girls that no one messed with the woman he loved.
Theo dropped the pencil ,he was holding ,onto the floor. He loved her. This woman who had enraptured all he wanted had gotten under his skin and made him feel thing she had never felt before. Since his mother had died Theo had thought that she would be the only woman he could ever let in his heart. His father had been destroyed when his mother had left this earth. Theo had promised himself that he would never let anyone that close to him. But Alexis had changed that . She had turned him upside down. Sitting down in front of the compute beg began to trawl through pictureshad had of himself. Trying to find the least menacing. He didn’t want to scare the girl off. He would send it to her straight away and see if she was willing to trade
Alexis finally found a decent picture of herself and enclosed it in an attachment along with a short email. There was no turning back now. This was what he was going to see. After the email was sent a small box appeared at the bottom of the screen telling her she had a new email. Opening it she stared in amazement.
‘WOW’ Alexis and Theo stared at their screens while taking in the view in front of them.
‘She’s perfect’
