A dark past and a growing friendship
~Scene opens to Saity sitting near Ryu with Hope asleep in the grass next to them~
Ryu looked at her, \" So who was the one who scared her so much?\"
She sighed, and looked up at the stars, \"A few years ago me and my sister lived with our parents in a village near here. We all got along fine. Everything seemed so..perfect..\" She paused for a minute to make sure Hope was still asleep. \" Then a man moved into our village, he got injured badly in a fight and I took care of his wounds. Well after a few days together we became friends. One day he proposed to me but I turned him down, he wasn\'t my type. He was furious that I said no, and vowed to make me regret it. He left for a few days, I thought he had blown it off....but he came back, he was different...he possesed magic powers. He kept his word and slaughtered the people in our village, my parents saved me and my sister so we could get away...she\'s never forgotten how he betrayed us, now we\'re always moving around. If we stay in one place too long he finds us. The villages around here carry his symbol of the tiger..he changes into a black tiger when he hunts us down himself.\" She stopped and looked down at Hope.
Ryu sat silent for a minute, and nodded, \" So thats why she\'s affraid of me.\"
She nodded, \" So what about you? Why are you in the woods by yourself?\"
He shrugged, \" I don\'t know anything about my family or where I came from.\"
She nodded and was about to speak but she smelled a familar scent in the air. She changed into her demon from and stood up, picking up Hope gently.
He walked over, \"Whats wrong?\"
She looked around and heard voices getting closer, she looked at him a fear in her eyes, \" It\'s him...\" She looked down at Hope and handed her to him, \" Please take her and run as far as you can from here...If we all go they\'ll catch up and kill you both, I can hold them off..but please don\'t let them hurt her.\"
He was about to argue but saw how much she feared for her sisters life and nodded, and taking her in his arms ran off, Hope woke up and looked at her sister she didn\'t need someone to tell her what was going on, she already knew. Her eyes filled with tears and she cried silently on his shoulder as he ran.
She forced her tears back as a larger group of men charged at her from the trees. She fought them off as best she could but eventually was trapped in a cage. She growled at them trying to break free, she stopped as she saw a black tiger step out of the woods. He changed into his human , he was very tall, with shorty spikey black hair and black eyes. \" Well well well, it\'s looks like I\'ve finally caought the fisty fox demon Saity..\" She was to shocked to speak only one word came out of her mouth, \" ...Scias..\"
He grinned, \" Glade you remember me.\" He walked up to the cage and quickly grabbed her wrist. She screamed out as she felt her eergy being drained..her claws and tails went away as she was changed back into her human from. She fell to her knees with no strength left, he opened the door to the cage chaining her hands together behind her back, and her feet together. He gave a nod and closed the door as the men pulled the cage away.
