Jordan woke to an annoying beeping sounds and his head throbbing, beyond belief.
\"Hurry Zach, he is waking up! Go fetch the doctor. Hurry!\" said a familiar but unknown voice.
\"Ali...\"Jordan whispered trying to get a grip of where he was? why he was there? and how he got there?
\"Hold on baby, there doctor is coming, I promise.\" Jordan finally recognized the voice to be his mother.
Once again Jordan whispered Ali\'s name and tried to get up but his parents stopped him. Soon the hospital door opened to revile a strong man, mid 30\'s maybe late 30\'s. Dark black hair that was short, and had a few grey hairs.
\"Ah, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, Jordan has scratches, and a few stitches in his legs but those shall heal with time, the only main problem what we should worry about is his wrist, during the impact, the bones in his wrist shattered and are having to grow back, and this will take about a couple of weeks, but it will be fine afterward.\" Said the doctor, while his parents nodded.
\"Ali...Where? How?\" Jordan tried again to sit up, and accomplished it.
The Doctor took a deep breath before breaking the news to the lad.
\"Ms. Adamson, she is hurt very badly. She has a broken ankle and has lost a lot of blood, she has many bruises. She has not awakened yet, she is in a coma.\" He stated softly. Silent tears rolled down Jordan face, Mrs. Johnson gasped and began to cry in her husband’s chest, while he tried to comfort her.
\"Dr. Reed! DR. REED!?!\" a nursed ran into the room, \"excuse me, but there is an emergency in the main building you are need now!\" She said and ran off. Dr. Reed excused himself and took off toward the main building.
When everyone was looking at Jordan, who was still crying, he began to speak, \"I want to be by her side, right now.\" he stated trying to stop crying but failing terribly. Started to get up, and off the bed, Zach, his older brother by 2 years, went to help him. Zach was a year younger than Ali\'s sister, Amiee, he found out about the accident when Jared called. He flew in from New York where he was going to college.
\"I will help him ove her her room.\" Zach offered, and began to help Jordan off the bed and help him with the cords that were attached to him, one hand helping Jordan, and Jordan other hand on his IV pole.
They slowly started to walk down the hall toward Ali\'s room. \"You know it was the 18 Wheelers fault right?\" He asked, \"You two have been out for almost a weeks. When they brought Ali in, they thought she was dead but she fought really hard to come back, she still is. She is coming back Jordan; She is coming back for you. She was always spunky, always had to do something to get your attention, and she always did, we placed bets going to see when you two would finally relies that you to were made for each other. But we never thought it would be this long. Don’t hurt her Jordan, girl’s hearts are made out of glass and the littlest tobreabreaks them.\" By the time Zach finished his little \'speech\' they had reached her room.
Zach opened the door to her room to find Ashley Sleeping in a chair, Amiee reading, and her mom and dad standing next to the bed.
\"Everyone can I be alone with her, please.\" He pleaded softly, Mrs. Adamson nodded softly and ushered everyone out of the room but not before she gave him a hug. \"We will be out here if you need us.\" She said, as she looked into Jordan\'s eyes, he could tell that she was crying, a lot, for they were all red and looked like she had not slept for days on end. All because of him. He walked over to the end of the bed pulling up a chair; he placed her limp hand in his and began to cry softly.
\"Ali, sweetie, come back please this is my entire fault, you can\'t leave me, I love you to much to let you go. I should be in a cnot not you. This should be me. Please come back to me.\" His grip on her hand tightened and he started to cry even harder. For 10 minutes he did not stop, but when he felt a little pressure on his hand be looked up to see what was happening. The hand that he was holding was squeezing hard against his. He looked to Ali\'s face to be greeted by Honey Nut Brown eyes, looking happily into his, glazing at his gorgeous face.
\"Ali...\" he gasped.
\"love...you\" She said shak Jor Jordan hushed her and told her not to talk he kissed her forehead and got a small smile from her.
\"Mr. and Mrs. A, She is awake, she is awake!\" He shouted at the door, and within seconds the Adamson family flooded into the room followed by Zach, with a bright smile on his face. They all went up to kiss her face, then her father left to room to go find the doctor. Jordan kissed her again and began to cry happily.
\"I love you; I am sorry, so sorry sweetheart. Never again.\" He spoke in her ear, tears running down everyone eyes hearing this.
The doctor cameand and made everyone leave so he could check on her. After what seemed like forever to Jordan, Doctor Reed came out. \"She is awake and she seems to be prefect healthy, Blood level back to normal, but she will need to sleep a lot tonight and she will need someone to stay, thought.\" He stated.
\"I will.\" Jordan offered. \"Mr. Adamson, you have to go back to work, Mrs. Adamson, you have to your students. Ashley you have your husband and Chloe and Cole to look after, because I don\'t think Jason can handle much more of you being gone much longer. Amiee, you have college. I will stay.\" He said looking into eve ones eyes.
They all agreed. Mr. Adamson worked for dell and was every close person with Mr. Dell. Mrs. Adamson was a professor down at the University of Texas. Ashley who was 24, the oldest daughter, who was married to Jason, had 2 children, twins, Chloe and Cole, one year old. Jason worked with Animation, and Ashley as a ESPN Commentary/ Report. Amiee the middle child, 21 years old, and a junior at the University of Texas, where Ashley and Jason graduated from, was working to become a teacher just like her mom. Her soon to be husband, Daniel, had graduated that fall was working on race cars for NASCAR.
He walked in to see that she was still a wake and waiting for her family to come back in, along with him. \"I get to stay here with you, until you get discharged.\" he whispered into her ear. \"Good, then can we cuddle later, I kind of missed that.\" She asked sweetly.
\"Of course anything for my angel, but after your parents leave.\" She nodded and as soon as her parents and sisteame ame in.
After her parents left, using all her strenght, she pushed herself over to one edge of the bed to give room for Jordan. He got in making sure none of there wires crossed or tangled and layed down andwledwled into the covers hugging her closely.
\"Thank you.\" He whispered into her ear. She yawned before replying, \"For what?\"
\"For coming back to me,\" He smiled and kissed her cheek.
\"Jordan i love you.\" She sighed snuggling closer into him, and feel asleep.
\"Goodnight my angel, i will protect you.\" He whispered again and followed her lead, and fell asleep.
