Barfight

As a matter of fact, I didn\'t have to wait at all. I immediately saw a drunkard who was pissing off some other patrons, and they started a fight. Soon this small arguement had escalated into an all out brawl. Ezra came running when he heard the noise, and when he saw what was up, he yelled at the top of his lungs \"Hell YEAH!!!\" and plunged into the fight.
By that time I was already knocking people out, left and right. Being almost seven feet tall and strong as an ox has it\'s advantages.
I then saw a glint of metal, and felt a searing pain in the side of my stomach. I looked down to see a dagger protruding from my side, and I was quickly losing blood. I roared in pain and anger, and grabbed the owner of the dagger by the scruff of his neck, ramming his face into a wall, snapping his nose like a twig and causing his front teeth to break and fly down his throat, making him swallow them in agony. I then let go of him and saw Jase walk in calmly, holding in his hand a metal base-ball bat. I looked down at my side to find it still bleeding profusely, and ripped the dagger out, ignoring the pain, and waded into the melee once more.
I was constantly battered about, the pain in my side growing by the second. I wanted to just scream in agony, and as I got away from the fight and stumbled over to a cornI waI was very near to passing out, and I saw the one face coming towards me that I least expected: that of Crimson herself.
She kneeled down next to me and asked \"hey, are you alright?\" I could only groan in response, quickly feeling conciousness slipping from my grasp. I blacked out, the last thing I saw was her piercing blue gaze...

Crimson POV:

I entered the bar after greeting at at the door. He had simply nodded in response, as always. I am beginning to wonder if he\'s mute, I can\'t recall ever hearing him speak before. I sat at the bar, as usual. \"Zed, could you get me a glass of wine?\" I asked. He served me quickly, having nothing else to do. \"You\'re here early.\" I heard Ezra say from upstairs. I looked up to see him leaning over the railing and grinning at me. I just shook my head and went back to my drink, ignoring him. As the first patrons of the night began to arrive, I idly wondered where Demon was, as he should have been here over an hour ago.
I saw him enter, as if on que, and greet Zed, ignoring me, as usual. As he walked up the stairs, I noticed another drunk bastard approuching me, and before he could even speak, I simply said \"Fuck off, asshole.\" He didn\'t let that discourage him, as he slurred the same idiot bullshit that every drunken ass tried. I just ignored him, but he didn\'t shut up, or go away. Just as I was about to get up and beat the shit out of him, the bastard found a hand on his should, spinning him round, then he found a fist in his face. as his limp form was knocked onto the bar, I turned to see that Jase had now grabbed him by the feet, and proceeded to drag him out. the man fell off the bar and hit the gound with a dull thud. I was quite sure he\'d feel that in the morning. Jase carried him out and threw him in the street just as Demon had come down to see what was going on.
Demon walked back in after learning the situation, and sat on the opposite side of the bar, waiting for something to do. I noticed some idiots starting a fight, and decided to just stay out of it, and sat there at the bar to wait it out.
As the fight progressed, I noticed Demon was shouting more than usual. I saw him stagger away from the fight, and went over to see that he was badly injured, with a vicious cut in his side. I asked if he was okay, but he quickly passed out. I yelled at Zed to stop this right now, and he raised a shotgun and fired a warning shot, and every one stopped immediately. I, meanwhile, was already dialing 911, telling them to hurry and get an ambulance over here. as the patrons were cleared out, Ezra ran over to Demon to see what was wrong.
I simply stood there, waiting, watching as Ezra attempted to lift the huge man off the floor, using all my will to keep myself from grinning at the sheer stupidity of the sight before me. I realized that I shouldn\'t think it was funny, because it wasn\'t, but the word karma flashed through my head and I thought back to him ignoring me this morning, and every morning before, and it took every ounce of refrain that I had in me to not giggle like a school-girl, which would definitely not go well with the bad girl reputation that I had built.

Zed POV:

I watched in anguish as the paramedics hauled off Demon, as he was something like a son to me at this point. I looked over at Crimson, who was obviously trying very hard not to laugh. It made my blood boil to think she could even begin to think this was funny.
I voiced my thoughts plainly as ever. \"What\'s so goddamn funny, eh Crim?\"
She looked at me like I was an idiot and said \"Funny? What ever do you mean?\"
\"You know damn well what I mean, Crimson, I saw you gigglin\' just now.\"
\"I wasn\'t giggling!\" she shot back \"Why would I? someone\'s life is in danger!\"
I simply gave her a death glare and went back to cleaning the bar.
Ezra walked up and said \"The meds said he\'d be fine, the knife didn\'t hit anything important.\" He walked over to the bathroom to clean off the blood that had gotten on his hands while he was trying to help Demon.
I noticed Jase was nowhere in sight. Apparently Crimson noticed that to, and shouted aloud \"Jase! Where the hell are you?!\" I jumped slightly at the sound of her voice.
\"Hey, what\'s with the yelling?\" Ezra walked out of the bathroom.
\"Jase is gone.\" Crimson stated.
\"I gathered as much.\" Ezra said, grinning at Crimson, who blushed and looked away.
I was slightly confused, I saw no reason for her to blush. But then, maybe it was an inside thing. \"Well, you guys can just take the rest of the night off, I\'ll close the bar.\"
Ezra looked at me with mock surprise and said \"The night off?! Zed, you never give us the night off!\" His voice dripping with sarcasm. Crimson rolled her eyes, and I glared at him coldly. \"Well? You gonna leave before I change my mind?\"
He nodded his head and ran out, coming back in five minutes later to retrieve his coat, and have Crimson laugh in his face.
Crimson waited till he had left, still leaning on the bar. \"Well? You gonna leave to? Or d\'ya want me to lock you in?\" She chuckled softly to herself and walked out.
I let out an exasperated sigh. Kids these days I thought to myself. when will they learn? I walked out silently and locked the door behind me as I promised myself I\'d go see how Demon was doing tomorrow.
