“Ardis….. Aren’t you…”
“He’s the head of the student council,” said Nafitiri impatiently to Evelyn, “The most desired male in the whole school, how can you not know that? Now, if you would excuse me, I would like to go and see how Mr. Puvy is doing. He looks as though he was severely wounded.”
“Not until all of you three give me your names.” in smooth movement he extended his hand and blocked Nafitiri’s path.
“Move your hand away from me or I else!” hissed Nafitiri dangerously.
“Else what?” Ardis answered in his usual playful tone.
“Calm, both of you. Naf, he only wants our names, no need to get cranky.” said Lianda with a desperate attempt of calming her friend. But Nafitiri ignored her and stormed off.
“I am Lianda of Gratinias. This is Evelyn of Yukidia. And our friend who you were arguing with is Nafitiri Esian.” Lianda introduced themselves with poise manner.
“Ah, so its you three, I should have guessed.” Ardis laughed.
“You know us?” amazed Evelyn
“Of course, how can I not. You three had given the student council more trouble than we need since the first day you arrived.” Ardis smirked and advanced closer onto Evelyn.
“No we have not, we had tried our best to be discipline and obedient.” Evelyn objected with a faint blush, the distance between them is making her feeling very uncomfortable.
“Then how do you explain thelosilosion in the your potion class, it took up us an whole hour, to put everything back to normal.” Questioned Ardis, “We could have used this time to other things that are more useful.”
“Forget about the past, what will our punishment be for being “ignorant”?” mocked Lianda
“I want you three to meet me at the dinning hall right before dinner, by then I should have an appropriate punishment for you. Remember, you must be prompt.” with that Ardis raised his hand and trans-located himself.
“That is not fair! How can he do that, it’s not our fault that we were lost!” protested Evelyn into the direction form where Ardis had disappeared. “ If they had made those signs a fraction clearer, we wouldn’t have endedherehere! What are we going to do?”
“There’s nothing we could do but wait, he can’t be too harsh on us, we didn’t do anything wrong but to follow the direction signs. Calm down. We will have to wait and see. Come let’s go back to our room and get ready for afternoon lessons. Now ho are we going to find Naf?”
“Find Mr. Puvy, she will probably be in his office “asking” questions about meditation.” Laughed Evelyn while walking up the stairs to their dormitory, “ I really don’t know what is so attractive about him. I mean look at him, he is not powerful, and he is not handsome, he looks gruesome and he has a sinister voice. Why is she taking an interest in him?”
“Well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. But we should watch out for her, I think that teacher is up to no good!” said Lianda.

Before diner, Evelyn, Lianda went to the dining hall to get their punishment from Ardis, and Nafitiri went to Mr Puvy’s office instead.
As they went into the hall, they saw Ardis standing next to the Statue of Maciur (the most respected wizards of all time) with his back facing towards them. He was dressed in his black robe with silver rim, with silver patterns embroiled across the back (the patterns is a indication of one’s power, so the more patterns one has, the more powerful one is.) The gentle light from the candles had made him even more handsome, more dangerously handsome.
“So where is you little friend? Did I not tell you to bring her along as well?” Said Ardis with a bite of impatient in his voice.
“She had to go to Mr. Puvy, apparently he had excused her from any possible punishment that she might receive from you.” said Evelyn.
“Really?” he replied carelessly “that’s very unfortunate.”
“What did you say?”
“Never mind what I said, you two, follow me. Ostagarus wants to you.”
Evelyn and Lianda followed Ardis down the passage, As they were walking, they cannot help but discuss quietly about Ardis’ rather strange behaviours.
“Lianda, can you sense it?” asked Evelyn
“Sense what?” said Lianda
“I’m not sure, but something is missing, something is wrong.”
“Oh, come on, how long have you known him for? Few hours? Stop suspecting, it’s impossible to have another guy as gorgeous as he is.”

When they reached Ostagarus’ office, without any warning,Ardis raised his hand and blew the door down. After a moment of mere shock and silence…Ostagarus’ voice came bellowing through out the door.
“Darius! How many times do I have to tell you, knock before you enter!! And be merciful to my doors!!”
“Sorry, sir I forgot.” “Ardis” replied with calm.
The two girls looked up at him in complete shock, “Darius? You are Darius? Aren’t you supposed to be Ardis?”
Darius turned to them and stared down at them with an icy glare.
“Don’t say that to him, he hates it above anything.” Ardis warned the girls with a teasing voice as he appeared in the doorway. “Come in ladies. Darius, stop staring at them like that, you’ve frightened them.” With that he putted his hands on the girls shoulders and half dragged the petrified little bodies away from Darius deadly stare. “ I apologize for my negligence, I forgot to tell you that I have a brother, a twin brother - Darius.”
