Can’t wipe the smile off my face. Don’t even want to try.
Plops down happily in my computer chair. I have purchased a second hand laptop. I need to conserve my severance package so I can edit CAKE and get it ready to be critically reviewed by the staff of YAOI HOUSE LLC.
I have been advised/warned that the process may take up to a year and this is AFTER I get my final draft in to the publishers.
So the plan is to get done Clove (about 4 chapters left) then head back and start to really edit CAKE. As you have noticed over the lifespan of the books, I have clarified character history, the cake universe and the Bloodlines more so in each chappie, so now I have to go back and make CAKE gel with the new universe.
I don’t think I will be able to post the new advised chappies. (otherwise, why would you buy the book?) I may not be able to keep CAKE online, I will have to review the contract carefully. YAOI HOUSE will also have the right of first refusal to publish each book of the Lord Emperor Vampire Saga. Again, this is based on CAKE book sales.
Grin. I can write that now with the true possibility of it happening. Book Sales. Yip yip yipeeeeee! (spin in my chair)
So. Me and my smutty little brain cells are off to finish creating the mayhem needed for CLOVE then I’ll be marching back to attack CAKE with a red marker.

Ahhhh. No rest for the wicked…and I’ve been very very wicked. I guess there is a silver lining for every black cloud but geees, enough of the darkness already! Well I’ve got a perpetual glow stick now. I’m damn good to go.
