I am an octopussy. I have my hands waving everywhere going…oooh, oooh, oooh, look that this! I know I need an editor but it doesn’t suck that bad! People want to buy it!!!! I’m not making this up!!!!! PPPPPPLLLLLEEEAAASSSSSEEEEE.
I would like to say that I’m making that up, but that’s the truth. I have sent out Cake a couple of times. I attempted to contact Mojo castle (advertiser on AFF) but their contact links suck rocks. So I turned around and took advice from a former moderator (who shall remain nameless but I appreciate to high heaven) and sent my little obsession off the Yaoi House LLC in September 2007. If you like Ai no Kusabi, you know Kira Takenouchi.

I am submitting my manuscript "Cake" for your publishing consideration. It is Book one of the Lord Emperor Vampire saga. Books one, two and three of the series are completed. Book four is currently being written and is estimated to be complete by December 2007.
"Cake" is around 140,500 words.
"Cake" is a contemporary male/male vampire genre. The main character, Sigmund Edward Xavier, (Sex) has fallen captive to a Vampire. During that first year, Marcus transforms him from a legally blind, morbidly obese, computer programmer into a beautiful, yet psychotic, sex slave. As per Vampiric law, on the anniversary of the abduction, Sex is given the choice to become a Vampire or to remain a sex toy. In the course of his learning how to be a Vampire, Sex finds himself caught up in events, intrigue and House bloodlines that extend back 400 years.
The degree of sensuality within the novel is definitely rated Adult to Extremely Graphic Adult in some chapters. Descriptions are definitely male/male sex. While the first chapters show how SEX came into being, the transformation of the relationship from Captor to Lover/ Slave to Lord Emperor continues through the novel. Sex scenes within the chapters are NOT gratuitous and highlight the changes in the main characters progress.
The marketing would be directed to those readers who love slash, gothic angst and complicated vampire stories. I have been encouraged to get "Cake" and the rest of the series published by many of my current readers. As my Internet following is still increasing, I have no doubt I would be able to secure a readership for the entire series. A moderator at the site where I have been posting my work has recommended Yaoi House as a place to try and get my work published.

Then an old enemy stirs from the dust whose only mission is to see the death of the young Lord Emperor.

Things don’t balance out that much but damn, since August my life sucks rocks. Money would be nice, but I really want a book to put in my china cabinet. Then you can angle the spotlights just so…make it look all nice and important. It’s vampire porn but damn, I like it.
Don’t you always read that some author’s life was tragic and at a low point then wham, everything just comes up Harry Potter and you buy a castle. Lunch money would be nice. Cross your fingers. I need a little ray of sunshine in my life.
