Chapter 26
“Damn it, Johnny. I told you to befriend him, not piss him off, you stupid fuck.”
Johnny wasn’t even fazed that his lover already knew about his encounter with Jared. He knew his lover kept many spies, even on him.
“Honey…I…”
“Don’t patronize me, damn it!” the angry man yelled, slamming his hand down on the desk. “I’m not a fucking idiot like you. All I asked is for you to make friends with little slut and you fuck it up. What use are you to me?”
Johnny cringed at his lover’s angry voice. Johnny knew he should have followed orders but when it came to Jared, he just couldn’t do it.
“Listen, I…”
“You listen: if I don’t get what I want, I’m going to be very angry.”
Johnny stared into his lover’s angry blue eyes. “I don’t understand what the big deal is.”
“You’re not paid to think, but to follow the orders I give you.” A hand slammed down on the desk, causing Johnny to jump.
Johnny remained silent, thinking it was for the best. His lover was angry and he knew anything he said now would cause serious problems for him in the future.
“I see you’re smart enough to keep your fucking mouth shut,” the voice sneered. “Do you think you can follow my orders or do I need to find someone else?”
“No, I’ll befriend him.” Johnny voice was low and soothing, despite the tension in the air. He walk up to Kurt and laid his hands on the tense mans shoulders.
“Don’t fuck up again because if you do, it’ll be the last.
Johnny leaned over and stared into his lover’s eyes, seeing the cold deadly gaze staring back at him. He knew the man spoke the truth.
“I give you my word, Kurt.” Johnny whispered before kissing him.
