Tear of Blood
Chapter 25
I opened my eyes. My head felt dizzy. “Hey, you’re up!” I looked up and saw Lucas’ face. “She‘s up? Oh, I had hoped she would sleep until we got back to my room…” It was Embla. I looked around to see where I was. The same walls as earlier. Dull lighting. The cellar. I heard some whimpering from the shadows and look over at where it came from. Humans. “So! You feeling better?” Embla bent down over me. I looked at her, then remembered. “YOU BIT ME!” “Yeah ^_^ Your first time?” She smiled at me. I got up on my feet, and smacked her right across her left cheek. Flat handed mind you, I never hit girls with my fist. The guys were at me at once, holding me down on the ground. Andreas hurried over to Embla who just stared at me with a shocked look on her face. “YOU BITCH!”, she then shouted at me and a tear of blood ran down her cheek.
I struggled to get Kato and Lucas of me, but what do you know; they are vampires and have super strength. After remembering that I stopped the struggle. “I want her dead!” I heard Embla cry. I was allowed to get up on my feet again, but my arms were held. “Say you’re sorry!”, Andreas demanded. I looked Embla in her eyes, “I am sorry.” She calmed down a little. “I do hope so!” The humans in the room were terrified and stunned by what I had done. Embla looked over at them, “You know,”, she said to me, “I have to make an example out of you now. But playing evil really isn’t my thing. Lucas!” “Yes, my Lady?” “What would be the perfect punishment for her?”
Lucas looked at me then at Embla. “I say we wait with that decision, the punishment should be well thought of to increase our enjoyment. Now we still need to find you a human AND deal with the demons. And not to forget, the party would have already started, you need to make your grand entrée.” Then Kato butted in, “To make things move quicker we could take the humans with us to the party and both feed and decide there, after all it IS a dinner party”, he said with a smirk. “Oh, but I had wanted to rest a little before the party!! But, well, okay, I’ll do that then.” Embla looked over at the crowd of humans in the corner. “You!”, she said, “Get here!” Andreas got impatient and dragged the poor guy out from the rest. Embla looked him in the eyes and suddenly he was not so scared any longer. “Let’s get going now!” ‘Finally!!’, I thought, ‘Getting to the demons has taken way to long time already…’
We got out of the room with the humans and continued down the corridor. Lucas showed the way. We stopped in front of a huge door. Around it there were signs and the door itself had a huge symbol carved in it. “What’s this?”, Embla asked. “Magical symbols, seals actually. Made by the dark elves. To keep the things inside - inside.” “Uuuh.. Spooky..”, Embla said, “So we go in? We wont get attacked or anything I hope…” “They have collars on them, as long as they do they can not transform nor use any magic. They should be no match if they rebel.” It was my turn to ask, “But why don’t they just take of the collars then? Why is it so difficult?” “Only a dark elf can do that.” “You sure depend a lot on the elves..” They sent me some death glares, but said nothing. Lucas then opened the door.
We walked inside, it was dark. A light shone in the far end of the room. We walked over to it and Lucas opened another door, one which I didn’t even notice was there. Lucas went in first, and Embla followed after him, “Delightful!”, I heard her shout. Then Andreas went in, me, and Kato was the last one, keeping his eyes on the other human. I widened my eyes at what I saw. Embla was giggling and apparently enjoying herself. I couldn’t get my eyes of the sight, it’s one of those times you know you shouldn’t watch, but you can’t pull your eyes away either.
