Epilogue

Epilogue

A subtle breeze blew through the village as a crowd of people, easily numbering triple digits, were walking along the streets. The populace of the village hidden beside the fabled Mount Cornet had all returned to their everyday lives. None of the occupants seemed to remember what had changed within them. In particular, all had returned to their regular duties as a small group of women traversed the busy streets, bowing their heads to those that offered them a greeting while moving through with no hurry in the world. In the lead was a particular woman. Her blazing red hair acted like a beacon and drew forth those that wanted nothing more than to relax in the bountiful sunlight. All was good and well within the village as the decency of the inhabitants had come back. All pondered what had started the curse that had been cast upon their world, but none seemed to bother with finding out as all they could think about was to praise the sunlight that would give their crops new life.

Along the beach that was placed along the ocean, a multitude of younger men and women were sunbathing and enjoying the fresh sea air that seemed to follow. One such woman stood with the water reaching up to her knees while her large tattooed breasts, which she had no idea how the markings around her bountiful breasts had come from, were clothed with a subtle pink cloth that had recently been discovered in their village. Her gaze was fixated in the sky as she had the constant nagging feeling in the back of her mind that she had forgotten something, or someone, important, but as the men she had come there with called for her to come deeper into the ocean, all of that seemed to fade into the back of her mind as she wanted to do nothing more than to enjoy the life she had been granted by the Gods of old.

However, along the countryside, there was a small group of three that moved along the land with no hurry. A group of merchants and warriors that had decided to forego their battle armor. Instead, their attire consisted of a kimono for the singular woman, while the two men wore near identical brown pants. One in particular, whose golden hair fluttered with the subtle breeze, wore a long coat that remained open by the front where his muscled chest and stomach showed. His silver haired companion wore something more normal, which merely consisted of something along the lines of a short sleeved white silken shirt. When a particularly powerful gust of air blew past the three of them, causing their female companion to let out a defined feminine yelp, all three heads snapped up to Mount Cornet as if on instinct. Had they seen close enough, had the sudden gust of air not blown their hair in the way of their eyes, then they would have seen the figure clad in a black cloak as it waved it's right arm in their direction. But neither one saw that until it was too late.
