Part 2, chapter 6
- VI -
The only reason that Raven and I even got out of bed the next day was that we both were beyond hungry. I didn’t see Cerylia until almost six in the evening when she knocked on my door.
“Come out, will you?” she said and I sighed and got out of bed.
I wrapped Raven’s shirt around myself and unlocked the door. Cerylia was wearing a strapless dark red dress with deep neckline and she looked beautiful.
“Very nice,” I said and she just grimaced impatiently.
“Yeah. Help me to get those laces on the back, will you?”
She turned around and I tightened her laces.
“Tighter,” she commanded.
“You might wanna be able to breathe,” I said carefully and she snorted.
“Breathing is overrated. Tighter!”
I pulled the laces tighter until she finally gasped.
“Enough,” her voice sounded so strained that I laughed.
“When is Elsie coming back by the way?” I asked when she turned towards me.
“Tomorrow night,” she sighed with regret and I realized that she was enjoying her mother being away if not as much as me but somewhere close.
“Okay,” I said, trying not to sound too disappointed.
“Well,” Cerylia said. “My Cab is here. I’m gonna go…”
“Have fun!” I said energetically and couldn’t believe it when she actually smiled at me and said:
“Yeah, you too.”
We did have plenty of fun until a little after midnight when we’ve heard the front door open. At first, I didn’t even think twice about it. “It’s just Cerylia,” I thought, but then I’ve heard Arlen’s voice and I sat up in bed, blinking rapidly. She brought him here?! What the hell is wrong with her?
“That’s Arlen,” I muttered and Raven grimaced.
“I hear him,” he said softly. “Your door is locked, right?”
“Yeah,” I breathed, thinking that if Arlen bursts into my bedroom, he will turn into a pile of ashes for sure.
We listened intently when Cerylia and Arlen walked upstairs. It sounded like they were making out.
“Where is your sister?” Arlen asked suddenly.
Raven’s eyes started to get brighter.
“Asleep,” Cerylia answered indifferently.
“Is this her room?”
I winced. Great, they were standing right next to my door.
“Yeah,” Cerylia breathed. “She is a heavy sleeper, don’t worry. We won’t wake her… Come on.”
“So how come she didn’t come to the dance tonight?” it didn’t sound like Arlen was moving away from my door and I gritted my teeth.
“She is sick or something,” Cerylia said with slight annoyance. “Why does it even matter?”
My point exactly!
“No reason,” Arlen said. “Was just wondering. I mean, everyone was there…”
“Why did you say that she will be your date for tonight by the way?” Cerylia asked suddenly and I moaned very softly.
Just go to your bedroom and take his pants off, I thought. Stop talking! How complicated is that?!
“Oh…” Arlen hemmed. “Just for the hell of it, I suppose… That half-breed is driving me insane, thinking that he can grope humans whenever he feels like it so…”
Cerylia started coughing very loudly and I squeezed Raven’s fingers.
“Easy…” I muttered, seeing that his expression is getting more and more furious by the second.
“You okay?” Arlen asked with concern and Cerylia managed:
“Ummm… I need some water, I think… I have some in my room, come on.”
They finally left and a few seconds later, I’ve heard her bedroom door close. I took a deep breath and looked at Raven. He was fuming.
“I will kill him,” he said quietly. “I swear to Talath, one of those days I will freaking kill him!”
“Just wait until the school is over,” I muttered and he snorted.
“You mean, I should kill him then?”
“No,” I rolled my eyes. “We’ll just move the hell out of this town. I don’t think my dad will care. He barely sees me as it is, shouldn’t make any difference. And Elsie will be ecstatic. Plus, I am sure Vicky will help out.”
“Right,” he muttered and I was relieved when I saw his eyes go back to normal.
That night we didn’t fall asleep until almost three in the morning, due to obvious reasons, but also because Cerylia turned out to be even louder than me and it was sort of hard to fall asleep with her screaming, “More! More!!” behind the wall. Finally, around two or so, they shut up, and Raven and I managed to actually be quiet - I had to bite the pillow several times but that’s beside the point - and we dozed off around three.
I woke up because of loud laughter behind my door. I peeled my eyes open and looked at the clock. It was eleven in the morning. I yawned and smiled when Raven’s mouth started sliding down my neck. I bit my lower lip, knowing that I can’t get loud with Arlen and Cerylia right behind my door, and knowing that, worked better than any aphrodisiac.
“Are those yours?” Arlen asked on the other side of the door. I had no idea what he was talking about.
“Yeah,” Cerylia answered.
Raven’s hands slid down to my hips and I buried my face in his shoulder when his fingers started doing something that felt incredibly good.
“I like those,” Arlen said and Cerylia laughed.
“Really? I mean, I do too but I am a girl and all…”
My breathing became ridiculously uneven. Raven’s mouth was doing something indescribable by this point and I just kept gasping for air silently.
“I have a thing for shoes,” Arlen laughed.
“Oh really?” Cerylia murmured.
Raven smoothly moved back to my face, his lips warm as ever. I grabbed his neck and pulled him closer. He kissed me so slowly that I knew he was doing it on purpose, just to make me gasp and bite my lips to keep from moaning.
“Mmm,” Arlen said appreciatively from behind the door. It sounded like Cerylia was doing something to him that was somewhat similar to what Raven was doing to me.
I have no idea how I managed to keep quiet when Raven suddenly entered me with a hard push. I bit into his shoulder to muffle my moan and when I looked into his face, he was grinning. Oh, he will so pay for this later… His breathing was nowhere close to even and it almost made me smile.
“So you like shoes, huh?” Cerylia said in a low voice.
“I do,” Arlen murmured.
“Want me to wear those?”
“Will you?”
“Yeah…”
I lifted my back off the mattress, a very soft groan escaping my throat. I couldn’t help it.
“Yeah,” Arlen breathed behind the door. “Leave them on, will you? That’s really nice…”
I grabbed Raven’s neck even tighter, my lips trembling. I hissed when that damn fireball hit me so hard from the inside that I almost blacked out for a second. Raven started to move faster and I almost wept with jealousy when he was so silent that it didn’t seem real. He raised his head suddenly and stared into my eyes. I would start laughing when he started biting his lower lip, but all I could do was to clench my teeth and hope that the sounds that escaped my throat weren’t audible to those two behind my door. Why the hell are they doing it right there anyway?! Cerylia, what is wrong with you?!
Raven convulsed on top of me right when another fireball exploded in my body. I was more than thankful for the fact that Cerylia was so damn loud and that she started moaning at the same moment as I did. I couldn’t help myself. I tried to keep it as quiet as I could, but I knew that if not for Cerylia’s moans, I would so be heard on the other side of the door right now. Raven hissed when I pressed harder against him and his spasms were almost identical to mine. He collapsed on top of me and we were both gasping for air like two fishes that got washed out of the ocean onto the sand.
Cerylia and Arlen finally stopped groaning a little later and it sounded like they left the house. Maybe they just went into the kitchen, I don’t know. I didn’t have a slightest desire to get out of bed right now anyway so it didn’t matter.
