CHAPTER 21
I woke up in the feeling of being stared at and wrenched my eyes open reluctantly. I saw Kevin standing next to us, his arms crossed and glaring down at me.
“What did I say about sleeping on the floor, Cabe?” He asked venomously and I let out a low sigh. I didn’t want Tristan hear him yelling at me so I shook the little boy awake and murmured in to his ear.
“Tristan, go get something to eat before you have to get ready.”
“Mmh, I’m still tired.” The thin brunette whined sleepily and I shook him again.
“You need to eat, you now that. Please, go.” I asked and Tristan rolled away from me with an exaggerated sigh. He got up and looked surprised to see Kevin in the room.
“Hey.”
“Hi, Tristan, go and eat.” Kevin said and hugged the boy briefly before ushering him out of the room. Kevin closed the door after Tristan before turning his piercing eyes to me. I had gotten off the floor and was now sitting on the bed, my eyes cast down.
“He’ll be back soon so let’s get this over with.” I said quietly and closed my eyes when Kevin moved closer.
“Why the hell were you sleeping on the floor?!” He shouted at me and I winced, expecting to be hit.
“Tristan was crying.” I mumbled and Kevin stilled for a moment.
“Why was he crying?” He asked then, he’s voice softer when he spoke of the little boy and I fumbled with my sweater nervously.
“Jason, why was he crying? Is he hurt?”
“No, sir.”
A hand touched my cheek and I winced away from it. The hand moved to the back of my neck before pulling away and Kevin said.
“You still have a fever. You need to get some proper rest.”
“I can sleep well on the floor, sir.” I muttered and opened my eyes when Kevin moved closer again. He was standing right in front of me, his groin right in my face and I looked down again.
“You’re not sleeping on the floor again and definitely not in the fucking linen closet!” Kevin raised his voice again and I hunched my shoulders forward.
“I-I’m s-sorry, sir.”
“Fucking brat.” Kevin growled and I looked up at him with tears burning in my eyes.
“A-Are you g-going to h-hurt Tristan, s-sir?” I asked nervously and was met with icy dark eyes.
“Excuse me?!”
“Y-You buy him s-stuff and.. h-he doesn’t deserve to be h-hurt, s-sir. You.. You can do wh-what you want to m-m, s-sir. Just.. please d-don’t hurt T-Tristan.” I begged my voice full of emotion and Kevin smacked me hard across the head, hitting where hair would cover bruises, like all the bouncers did.
I shut my mouth and hunched forward, knowing I had gone too far.
“Stop behaving like a fucking martyr. Tristan is fine, I’m not about to hurt him. But I will fucking hurt you if you don’t start behaving yourself.” Kevin spat at me and hugged my sweater closer.
Kevin’s sweater. He had given me the clothes I had on. I stared at the stupid ducks again and let my head hung forward until my chin was pressed against my chest.
“I-I’m s-sorry, s-sir.” I mumbled again and Kevin grabbed my arm harshly.
“Enough. You’re a fucking pain in the ass.” He growled and dragged me to the door. I tried reaching for the blanket but before I got the chance, Kevin had me hauled out of the room. I was getting tired of being dragged round like dead weight by him and tried to pull my arm free.
“Stop that!” Kevin snapped instantly and tightened his hold. I bit back a cry of pain and shut my mouth again.
He took me to the bouncers’ coffee room and pushed to sit on the couch next to another bouncer who I knew by face but not by name. I stared at the floor in panic and tried not to fidget.
“What the fuck is he doing here?” The bouncer who had been there last night as well asked and my teeth clamped down on my lower lip in the nervous habit that I had.
“He needs a place to sleep for the night. So he’s sleeping on the couch.” Kevin said and threw a blanket at me. I hugged the blanket to my chest quickly and hunched forward wishing to be anywhere else but here.
“He can go sleep somewhere else. We don’t want that little slut sleeping here.” Some other bouncer complained and Kevin nudged the bouncer sitting on the couch next to me on the shoulder.
“He’s sleeping here. The boss wants him working by Friday, so shut up and go to work.” He stated simply and threw a pillow on the other end of the couch. “Lay down.” He told me then and I looked up timidly.
“I c-can s-sleep s-somewhere e-else.”
“You’re sleeping here! You’re pushing my patience, kid, lay down!” Kevin yelled and when I didn’t jump at his command, grabbed my hair and dragged me forward until my head hit the pillow and I was lying down. I looked at him, my eyes wide with fear and flinched when he covered me with a blanket.
“You fucking move an inch during the night and I’ll swear to God I’ll spank your skinny little ass until it’s purple!” Kevin threatened and I backed away into the couch, desperate to hide from him. I couldn’t understand what it was in me that pushed his buttons so badly.
Kevin stormed out of the room and I pulled the blanket around myself more tightly, keeping a cautious eye on the other bouncers in the room. I didn’t trust any of them and I didn’t want to sleep here.
The remaining men chatted on easily and nobody paid attention to me but I couldn’t relax. Finally most of the men moved out of the room until just one man remained, the one that had called me a slut.
I watched him when he set his coffee mug down and stalked closer to the couch I was laying on. I curled up tighter and tried to hang on to the blanket when the man pulled it away.
“Come on kid, you can forget the all shy and innocent act you’re pulling. I know you’re not new at this.” The man sneered and grabbed the hem of my sweater next, pulling it upwards until it slid over my head.
I panicked and tried to scamper off the bed only to be grabbed and pushed down against the couch.
“Come on, kid, you think you can only give yourself to Kevin, huh? The rest of us have needs too.” The man snickered and started opening his pants while holding me down.
Tears burned in my eyes and I was panting heavily, wanting to kick and scream but too afraid of getting hurt again to do so. I knew I had to get better to avoid being kicked out and if I’d get beaten, it was not going to happen.
The man flipped me over roughly and tugged down the pajama bottoms before straddling me. I felt his hard cock against my backside and buried my face into the pillow waiting for the pain and fighting tears.
“I’m gonna fuck you so hard, you’re going to be coming back for more.” The man sneered at me and clamped one big hand over my mouth to keep me quiet before guiding himself in with another. I let out a sob, knowing that this was going to hurt beyond believe due to the fact that I hadn’t prepared myself for being used tonight.
The man was just about to ram it in when the door to the coffee room opened suddenly and a voice said from the door.
“Doug, what the hell is taking so lo..” The voice was cut off when the man at the door realized what was going on before him and the man called Dough stilled on top of me.
“Doug! Are you fucking crazy?! You’ll get fired for that shit!” The man at the door hissed loudly and the man on top of me pulled away.
“Thanks for spoiling my fun. The little slut was begging to be fucked hard.”
“You’re needed at the front door.”
The man named Doug left the room, growling in frustration and I kept still on the couch, my thin shoulders trembling in fear. Just because the other man had stopped his friend it didn’t mean that I still wasn’t going to get fucked raw.
I heard the man come closer and closed my eyes tightly, tensing my shoulders even more. The man took hold of the pajama pants and I flinched, expecting him to yank them all the way down. In stead the man pulled the pants back up and picked up my shirt from the floor.
“Get up. I don’t know what Kevin was thinking bringing you here. It’s like throwing meat to a pack of hungry wolves. Go sleep somewhere else.” The man said and I put the sweater on quickly before heading for the door.
“Hey, don’t forget your blanket.” The man said and held out the said item to me until I took it hesitantly.
“T-Thank y-you, s-sir.” I stuttered hesitantly and hugged the blanket awkwardly to my chest.
The man just huffed and pushed me out of the room.
“Don’t thank me. I’m kicking you off the couch, not doing you a favor.” He grumbled and I let my head hang low.
“Still. T-Thank you. I mumbled and headed towards the linen closet I had slept the previous night. Kevin would be angry but it wasn’t my fault this time, his friend had kicked me out of the coffee room, it wasn’t like I had ran.
When I woke up in the morning, I was feeling a lot better than once in the previous days. I got up before anyone came to get clean sheets and went to get breakfast for Tristan and me before heading to number 18. Tristan had just stepped out of the shower when I walked in and he smiled tiredly at me.
“Hey, how are you?” I asked gently and sat down on the floor, careful not to look at him while he was half naked.
“Tired. Are you feeling better?” Tristan asked and moved behind me to get dressed. A moment later he sat down on the floor next to me, plastering himself against my side and picking up a sandwich.
“Yeah, I’m good. I’m working again tonight.” I nodded and picked up a sandwich myself. Tristan sighed and closed his eyes while he ate. I looked down and stared at the pajama pants he was wearing. Where as mine where white, his were blue and had Smurfs on them.
“Did Kevin give you those pants?” I asked and Tristan tensed before pulling away.
“Yeah. Just to be nice, Jason.” He said and I pulled him back to my side quickly, not wanting to start up the argument from yesterday again.
“I know. He gave me these too.” I said and Tristan looked down at the ducks I was wearing.
“I really like him, Jason. I don’t think he’s bad.” Tristan said quietly and I nodded slightly.
“I know Tristan. I know you like him. He doesn’t like me though.” I said and Tristan looked up at me, a confused look in his eyes.
“What do you mean he doesn’t like you? He gave you the clothes didn’t he?”
“He doesn’t do that to everyone?”
“No, just me and now you. I think he likes you.”
“I think he gave me the pants because I’m your friend, Tristan. It doesn’t matter, don’t worry.” I mumbled and grabbed another sandwich.
The door to the bedroom opened and Kevin stared at us from the doorway for a while before saying.
“Tristan, the boss wants you in the office, now.”
Tristan paled visibly and hung on to me more tightly for a moment before letting go and moving to get up. I pulled him back down and hugged him tightly, while whispering into his hair.
“You’ll be alright. I’ll wait for you and we can sleep together, okay?”
Tristan nodded timidly and I let go of him. He left with Kevin and I finished my breakfast alone.
A few minutes later Kevin was back.
“Didn’t I tell you not to move last night?” He asked coldly after closing the door and I stared at the floor nervously.
“T-The ot-other b-bouncer told m-me to leave, sir.” I stuttered and backed away with a flinch when Kevin came closer.
“Where did you sleep?” He demanded to know and when I didn’t answer, grabbed my arm and pulled me up. “In the fucking closet again?!”
I hunched in his hold and just tried to look submissive.
“Get to sleep and rest, the boss wants to see you at four. I’ll be over to wake you up.” Kevin said suddenly and let go of my arm. I sat down on the floor and hugged my arm to myself carefully.
“Did you hear me? Get to sleep!”
“I promised Tristan I’d wait for him, sir.” I answered quietly and Kevin moved towards the door with a huff.
Ten minutes later Tristan was back, looking a lot better now and grinned at me widely when he ran to me.
“Jason! I’m going home!” He yelled and bounced on me, wrapping his thin arms tight around my neck.
I just sat there, paralyzed with my mouth hanging open. He.. he was leaving?
I managed to get my arms working and hugged him back, burying my face against his neck. “W-When?” I asked in a shaky voice and Tristan let go of my neck.
“Tomorrow. One more night and I can go home.” He grinned until he caught the distressed look on my face.
“J-Jason?”
“I’m happy for you. You’ve been here for so long.” I said and Tristan pulled away from me slightly. He didn’t look happy anymore and that wasn’t what I wanted. He should be happy, he was going home! I pulled him into another hug and murmured into his ear.
“Don’t you dare be sad now, you’re going home. I’ll be alright, I worked here a lot of times before you came around and I can take care of myself.”
“I’m tired.” Tristan said and I let go of him, a smile on my lips.
“Then let’s sleep. I’m working too tonight.”
“You saw the Keeper already?” Tristan enquired when we settled down to sleep and I shook my head slightly.
“No but I’m better now. No fever or anything. I can work.” I said and curled myself around Tristan.
“Do you think you get to go home soon too?” Tristan asked hesitantly and I breathed in his scent.
“I don’t know. Dad didn’t say anything. Don’t worry about me, sleep.”
“Kevin will take care of you, you won’t be alone.” Tristan said sounding sure and I didn’t have the heart to tell him that probably the minute he was out of the club, the big bouncer wouldn’t care shit about me. I wasn’t stupid.
