Getting Back to Alex's
ANS: Here you Go.
They dropped Darren off at home, and then made their way to Alex’s apartment. Kyle had fallen asleep, and this time, instead of waking Kyle up, Alex just carried him inside. As Alex was laying Kyle on the bed, his eyes fluttered open. He drowsily looked around.
Alex smiled at the picture Kyle made. “I was trying to get you in without waking you up. It looks like I failed.”
Kyle smiled. He winced as he sat up. “I want to thank you for everything.”
Alex enveloped him in a hug. “I would do anything for you.”
Kyle looked up, trying to hold back tears. “Do I have to go to school tomorrow?”
Alex shook his head. “I would not let you, even if you wanted too. It is way too dangerous.”
“What about drama rehearsal though? I have a lead part. I can’t just leave Darren up a creek without a paddle.”
“I will drive you to drama rehearsal and stay there during the rehearsal. Eric may decide to make a move then, and I want to be there to stop him.”
“Don’t you have better things to do tomorrow?”
“I will move my schedule around. You are more important to me than anything in my life at this time.”
Kyle blushed. “Thank you again. I do not know what I would do without you.”
Alex smiled. “Are you ok with the sleeping arrangement that we had last night? I do not want you to feel uncomfortable, especially after the kiss.”
Kyle face reddened even more at the remembrance of the kiss. “It will be fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
Alex covered Kyle up. “Do you want to take some painkillers that the doctor prescribed? You seem to be in a little pain, by the flushes of pain that crosses your face every now and then.”
Kyle smiled. “That would be great.”
Alex went to the kitchen. He took 2 painkillers and filled a cup with water to help it go down. When he walked back into the room, Kyle was standing up. Alex quickly laid the cup and painkillers down on the nightstand, and pushed Kyle lightly back on the bed at the chest. “Stay in bed.”
“I’m sorry.”
“No excuses, now take the medicine.”
As Kyle took the pills, Alex stripped down to his boxers. Kyle covered his eyes, a red hue forming across his cheeks. Alex had an amazing body.
Alex chuckled at Kyle’s reaction. “Are you embarrassed?”
Kyle was still looking away from Alex. “Very much so.”
“This is how I slept last night.” Alex pointed out.
Kyle finally looked at Alex. “The difference is you stripped after I went to sleep. And then when you woke me up because of the dream, I was so upset that I had not noticed.”
Alex reached out and caressed Kyle’s cheek. Without being able to stop himself, he leaned down and kissed Kyle softly on the lips. Kyle closed his eyes, and let the sensation wash over him, enjoying the fluttering feeling he felt in his stomach. Alex pulled away, and Kyle leaned forward more, not wanting the touch to end. He fell forward when Alex pulled completely away. He yelled in pain because Alex had caught him before he hit the ground, but had caught him near his broken ribs. Alex cursed and quickly laid Kyle in bed.
Alex and Kyle gazed at each other. “It is my fault that you were just hurt.”
Kyle shook his head. “I am the one who leaned forward. You were just trying to prevent me from hitting the ground. If it is anyone’s fault, it is mine.”
“I am the one who kissed you though.”
Kyle smiled. “I am the one who enjoyed the kiss.”
Alex kissed Kyle on the forehead. “Kyle, you probably can already tell I like you a lot. I do not want to rush things though. I have things you need to know, before we go any farther.
“Ok.”
“I am going to get myself a snack before going to bed. Go to sleep. Your eyes are starting to droop. It looks like the painkillers are beginning to kick in. Good night Kyle.”
“Good night Alex.” Kyle turned on his side, facing away from Alex so he did not notice the fond look on Alex’s face before Alex walked out of the room.
Alex ate a quick snack, before deciding to go to bed before he collapsed into a deep sleep on the table. He was dog-tired. When Alex entered his room, Kyle was now lying on his back; his face was the face of an angel in a peaceful sleep. Kyle’s hair was fanned around him, making him truly angelic looking. Alex pulled back the covers and slipped into the warmth they offered. As soon as he was settled, he felt a body move to his side and glanced over. Kyle had huddled himself closer to Alex unconsciously in his sleep. Alex groaned silently as he felt heat pool in his nether regions. It was going to be a long night. When Kyle burrowed himself deeper into Alex’s side, Alex accepted his fate and put his arm around Kyle. Kyle sighed in his sleep, sounding totally contented with his position. Too bad the older man who was awake was terribly uncomfortable with his arousal that was growing by the minute. Alex was finally able to settle into a restless sleep with fantasies of what he and Kyle could be.
