Love Begets Love

As expected, almost ever person in the party were stunned to hear the announcement. Most of guests knew that Rufus has already agreed to his grandson’s marriage with Anthony Castle. Now they knew why Anthony Castle is not present during Jeremy’s birthday.

Only a few of the guests were truly happy for both of the pair. The young people envy Jeremy for being able to have Charles, one of the most sought after bachelors in their city, and Charles, of course, for having someone as beautiful as Jeremy.

Guests went to congratulate them, and Rufus can only see true happiness in the two people who are deeply in love with each other. He does not care of the consequences anymore. Gone were the days when he would mask his true emotions. All he wants is for Jeremy to be happy.

Cleo only stayed in one corner where he can always watch over his ward. Like Rufus, he is glad that Jeremy is really happy right now.

After a while, Charles noticed that Jeremy fell silent. He knew that he is already getting exhausted. They have been entertaining the guests for quite some time now.

“Are you okay, angel?” Charles whispered to Jeremy.

“Yeah, just exhausted. I think I’ll just go ahead upstairs.” Jeremy answered.

“C’mon, let’s go.” Without any hesitation, and not minding what their guests might say, Charles started to walk to the stairs, guiding Jeremy towards their room in the second floor.

“No…. I … We can’t go together. The guests will be looking for us.” Jeremy answered.

“B- but, I thought you are tired.” Charles answered.

“Yeah… I can go ahead. I think it’s best that you stay here. For our guests. I’ll just go to Adrien’s room. Can he sleep with us tonight?” Jeremy asked. There are times when Charles won’t allow Adrien to sleep with them. Not that he does not want to be with his baby, but if Adrien sleeps with them, Jeremy seldom gets his much needed rest. He will usually stay awake all night for Adrien.

“Not tonight, angel… I want you to rest… I promise Adrien can sleep with us after tonight.” Charles knew that by the way Jeremy looks right now, and no matter how tired he is, he will stay awake for all night if Adrien sleeps with them.

“Okay, I’ll visit Adrien then.” Jeremy shrugged.
“Promise he can sleep with us tomorrow?” Jeremy added full of hope.

“Of course, angel. You understand why I don’t want Adrien to sleep with us tonight, right?”

Jeremy nodded his head. “Okay, I’ll go ahead then”

“Are you sure you don’t want me to….”

“Charles, I will be alright. Don’t worry okay?” Jeremy kissed Charles on the lips tenderly. Charles nodded. Well, who would even dare harm his angel in this well-guarded house anyway?

Soon after, Jeremy noticed Cleo following him.

“Hey, stop right there.” Jeremy said smiling.

“Why?” Cleo looked around, was surprised when Jeremy told him to stop.

“I will go upstairs alone, and you will stay here to enjoy the party. I will be alright.”

“B-but..”

“No buts, c’mon, I’ve seen you with the beautiful lady. Don’t tell me you will let this chance pass again?”

Cleo was amazed as to how observant his ward is. Yes, he met someone interesting tonight. In fact, they’ve been talking for more than two hours already. She’s a widower, and for the first time for quite a long time, he felt something different for this woman.

“Please, you’ve done so much for me and my family already. This could be your only chance. I love you and I want you to be happy too. I’m happy with Charles now. It’s about time you also find your own happiness.”

Cleo could not help but be touched. Oh how he love this young man as his son. And he is so proud of him right now.

“Okay. But if you need anything, just let me know. After some time, whether you like it or not, I will follow you.”

“Yeah, yeah, as soon as you get the beautiful lady’s number and she agreed to have a date with you, you can follow me.” Jeremy said smiling, before finally turning his back on Cleo, not waiting for the other to protest.

Jeremy went directly to Adrien’s room. The nurse is already sleeping near his baby’s crib.

He was however, surprised to see Adrien wide awake.

“Hey there, little man. Why are you still up this late.” Jeremy took his baby in his arms.


“ I’m so happy right now. Your dad and I are getting married soon… I just can’t wait for that to happen. Your dad told me that we will travel all over Europe. You, me and him. We will have a month-long honeymoon. I wanted to be intimate with him, b- but I’m just afraid for no reason at all. I love your dad so much. And I also want to make him happy. I hope I would be able to overcome this fear soon. But I just hope that I won’t get pregnant again. Not that I don’t want you to have another baby brother or sister, but I hope it won’t be too soon.”

The baby is looking intently at his father as if he understands every word he speaks.

“I love you so much, Adrien. If not for you, I would not have survived out there. I just wanted to be with you, and you kept me alive.”

After some time, Jeremy got tired. He placed Adrien back on the crib, bid him goodnight, then proceeded to their room and went to change into his sleeping clothes and went to lay on the bed.

He did not lock the door because he knew that Charles will be going up soon.

“I never thought you would be as careless as you are right now, grandfather. You really never thought that I would be coming back again. You never changed the locks in these secret passages, which makes it easier for me to have my revenge. And you my dear sweet little Jeremy, just where I wanted you to be. This is not even as challenging as I thought this would be.” Gael smiled evilly as he watched his sleeping target from the door.

Everybody is busy with everything that they never noticed Gael who easily slipped inside the house, through the secret passages.

Gael silently entered the room and locked it from the inside.

He does not want any distraction and he only went there to get what he wanted all this time.

The loud music outside would certainly be used by him to his advantage.

At first, he only wanted revenge for how Rufus treated him. And he knew that the best way to get his revenge was through Jeremy. But he is not also oblivious of his cousin’s looks. He thought that Jeremy being that pretty was only a consolation. But as time went by, his attraction to him grew. He then dreamed of having Jeremy’s love and affection. He was willing to forego Rufus’ mistakes in the past, as long as he would have his cousin. But when he found out that Jeremy was in love with Charles, he could not accept it. His blood boiled upon knowing that Jeremy was pregnant with Charles’ baby. He wanted to kill both Charles and the baby, but he also knew that Jeremy would never forgive him if he does that. So he decided to use the baby to force Jeremy to do what he wants. But his plans also failed. And now Hugo is dead, there is no one else who would help him this time. He does not care anymore of the consequences. He is done with hiding. He is done with his misery. And he would not allow the people who caused this misery upon him to have all the glory. There should be no happy ending! And tonight, no matter what it takes, he will get what he wants. He will have the last laugh.

Jeremy is sleeping peacefully. He was so tired because of all of the activities so he did not notice when Gael took the baby.

“My sweet little cousin… You just don’t know how long I waited for this moment. No one is going to stop me now.” Gael whispered as he started to unbutton Jeremy’s shirt. “So beautiful…”

Jeremy slowly awoke when he noticed someone touching him. “C-Charles…” He whispered thinking that it was his lover. He was shocked to see Gael looming over him. “N- Nooo!”

“Hello, my dearest cousin… miss me?” Gael smiled evilly. He immediately grabbed Jeremy’s wrists and easily pinned them above his head with only one of his hand.

“L- let me go!” Jeremy thrashed wildly. ‘This could not be happening! This is not true!’ His mind is shouting.

As if Gael read his thoughts. “This is all true, dearest cousin. Do you really think I will give up that easily?! Do you really think I will just give you to Charles that easy?! I came back to claim what I have been dreaming for so long!” Gael said as he forced Jeremy’s pajamas to his ankles, then started to remove his own pants.

“N- no! Please no! Please!” Gael could see through Jeremy’s fears. He hate to do this, but this is the only way to claim what he wanted.

“Charles! Help me!” Jeremy was fighting him wildly.

“Be still!” Gael lost patience and hit Jeremy on the stomach. It was a painful blow and Jeremy lost his strength.

“That’s better.” Gael smirked when he noticed that Jeremy is only struggling weakly.

“Please…. don’t….” Jeremy pleaded in between tears. Gael started kissing him, and easily removed all his clothing. He laid there naked, struggling to get up, while Gael finished removing his pants.

Gael then forced his legs apart. “N-no…. Please…. I beg you…”

“It’s okay, baby…. I have you….” Gael whispered as he forced one finger inside. “Shit… still too tight….”

Jeremy’s screams from the pain were muffled by Gael’s lips on his. Tears were freely flowing from his eyes.

Gael added another finger, then another.

“I think you’re ready, baby….” Without warning, Gael then pushed himself inside.

Jeremy tried to fight him off him, but he does not have the strength anymore.

“S-stop… p-please…. no more….” Jeremy pleaded weakly.

“So tight, baby… sooo good…” It did not take long for Gael to climax.

Gael then kissed Jeremy roughly before removing himself from him.

“ See? That wasn’t hard at all, baby… You did this to yourself. I wanted to be gentle with you… but you chose this.” Gael said as he lay next to Jeremy. “ I wonder how Rufus and Charles would react….”

Jeremy is crying softly. Everything aches.

“You will pay for this….” Jeremy whispered silently while trying to grab the sheet.

“Baby, the party is not yet over!” Gael said as he again forced Jeremy flat on his back.

“N- Nooo…. No.. please no!”

Gael again forced himself on Jeremy and the younger man was not able to do anything but cry as Gael forcefully thrusted inside of him.
