People of Armiah
Isabella looked up at the man confused by his statements. She nodded slowly accepting his words. He took her from her arms. The blood trailing down for memory of the mistake she just made. She stared at the girls' blood long and hard. She didn't believe that she could be saved. She remembered her hits, exact and right through flesh, if anything this girl should be dead. She looked up again as the people they just ran into were turning away and slipping into the depth of the forest. One young boy looked up to Antille then Isabella as if waiting for them to join.
Antille looked over to Isabella weakly, "Should we," he asked. Isabella quickly looked down and rubbed her arm. She thought for a moment if they should tag along. She couldn't fight back the worry of this girl's life. She looked up again and nodded.
"Yes we will follow I have to make sure the girl is alright," She answered. She looked over to the boy. He nodded and slipped into the brush. Isabella followed. Antille watched a moment. He blinked and waited a moment before going along. He sighed and slipped into the depths of the brush as well.
They trailed through the forest until they came to a opening. Antille bumped into Isabella as she stopped abruptly in front of him. She stared up above her. He blinked and looked up. The trees were full of paths and small grass made huts. He seemed captivated by the site. People strung along the paths walking to the house that seemed so high above. Children laughed as they raced each other down the full paths of passerby's. On the ground was a group in a circle around a large violent fire.
Isabella left Antille's side and went over to the blazing fire. An old woman knelt over the girl Amelia's body. She held bones in her hand and was chanting quietly in murmurs over the girl's body. The girl seemed lifeless and dead. No motion. Her blonde hair was in a stray all over the ground and decorated in blood. Her skin was becoming very pale and sickly. Isabella knelt down to the woman and placed a hand on her shoulder. She bit back tears as they started to pour from her eyes.
"I'm sorry," She whispered. The woman turned to her. She nodded. The man that was the one that has told her it would be alright stood behind her. He approached her.
"Give her time and she will return to us," He said. Isabella looked up to him in grief and anger. She stood up.
"Do you really think that chants will save her, that she will come back with words, I through my blade through her heart there is no way she will live," She wailed. He placed both of his hands on her shoulder. Isabella looked up to him. His face decorated with wrinkles of age and wisdom. His ears surprisingly decorated with branches and leave at the tip. His hair was grey and silver. She stared in awe. Her eyes drifted to the others. All of the tribe people having some part of forest on their bodies. She turned back to him quickly.
"You're not human." She gasped. He smiled to her.
"No we are not but Amelia is, still the way we found her makes me sure she will live," He whispered with sureness in his eyes.
The older woman gasped as she moved from Amelia's body. Antille ran up beside Isabella as he watched with amazement in his eyes. Isabella turned to watch. The girl's body lifted in the air a blue light emitted from her form glowing in the darkness of the night. Isabella gasped as she fell to her knees watching. The light flashed and the girl's eyes opened wildly. Her hair went wild with wind and fury. She slowly began to drift down to the ground.
The dress she wore was tattered from the riquelle's end. The girl slowly began to walk to Isabella. The people moved away creating a path for her. Isabella was shocked as she stared at her. Antille moved in front with his blade free from its hilt.
"Please do not harm her," He pleaded with the girl. The girl looked to him and motioned him to put the blade aside.
