Decisions
Brice sat down on his thrown, as his tail swished impatiently. The pack argued continuously as to what fate was to befall the intruder. The were a collective of minds that weighed the pros and cons to their leader. Each demanding to be heard in their arguments, Sena clan wanted to allow the intruder to prove himself but Tera clan argued against that if so allowed, it would become the downfall of their pack. Alpha males bowed to no one and to be brought to such a point of rank among them would bring about chaos.
Brice kept silent and had the male within his vision. His humbled plea had pulled a heart string of which normally would have never been. He argued with himself that he felt pity for him as his pack died before his very eyes. The humans had dared to kill his kind and it was black end for humans if they ever tried in his domain.
The eyes of wolf kept on disturbing his thoughts, keeping him away from listening to the arguments at hand. The voices were disturbingly high now as his was drawn away from 'his vision'.
"SILENCE! It is I who will decide his fate finally. Since we have had reports from our brethren that the humans are coming, we will need his experience to help us plan our strategy of attack." The new male, even despite being a former alpha would stay.
"Teesha, were you able to find the females?" he looked at the dark gray wolf one with curious eyes.
Teesha raised himself to stand and then bowed,"Yes sire, I was but I'm afraid she won't be able to handle both by herself.
Brice looked at him. "Please send mother to her to help and tell mother it is my wish. If not, find a male that has just birthed a pup of his own."
Teesha bowed with an nod, then left the circle as to do as told with knowledge that mother of the pack would not be pleased. He had to soothe her somehow. Her son was in command and could not be denied.
Brice looked at Teesha with sad smile as he knew the trouble that would follow which undoubtedly come his way. Now he had to make sure the visitor could rest comfortably. He got up to ask Leesha to come with him. They both left to see the newcomer.

Alec's dreams were not kind to him, but no more cruel than the reality he had recently faced due to the destruction of the humans. Before him, the scenes replayed from days prior, his family and friends being killed, 'til there was nothing left. He woke, whimpering and crying, tears in his eyes from what was now memories.
The crying probably made him look weak, but at that point, he couldn't care less. All that mattered now was that he was alone.
Hearing footsteps, he looked up, seeing people approaching.
Brice swiftly made his way to the cage, but as they got closer, the sounds a muffled crying were heard. Brice came close, looking down upon the male with pity. With a slight spark of irritation, he noted that the male had not been yet clothed. "Alec, are you alright? "
He didn't respond for a short while, before looking up at the alpha male weakly.
"No. They're all gone. All of them." He whispered more to himself than the Alpha. "I'm alone..."
Sitting upon his knees, he bowed slightly to the male. "Has my fate been decided, Alpha?" He asked, only half caring at this point. "And the fate of the pups?" He asked, a little more hopeful on the second question. They were the only remainder of his pack.
Brice strangely felt the need to go hug and comfort the wolf but remembered who he was and held back.
"It seems that you are much more valuable alive since you have the experience with the humans, than have you killed out right because you were an alpha male. So then I've decided to set up your place closely to me. If there are any problems, I would like you to talk to me right away. Is that understood? As for your cubs I've asked my mother to help out which I'm going to pay the price later dearly"
Brice pinched his nose as to stop the headache coming on, the one soon to follow after he spoke to his mother. She was not found of strangers less likely another alpha.
Alec smiled a weary smile at the male. "I guess I have much to thank you for then..." He paused, the smile growing more weak. "Please forgive me my alpha for being so outward, but is it possible for me to be given herbs to treat my wounds, and the chance to eat. I fear the wounds will become infected, and I have not eaten for multiple days. I could not stop and hunt due to the fear of capture or death. I was also in a hurry to get the pups to safety."
Bowing low, he looked up. "I will be in your service, Alpha Brice. I owe you a great dept for your kindness towards me... I will do whatever it is you want of me." And Alec meant every word.
Brice was awed by the gratitude and humbleness of this male which incited him to get closer to him. He picked up his chin with his finger, looking him over.
"Leesha..please get me some food and medicine, I will handle this." He checked the more serious cuts and quite close at wounds on the back and front of his body.
"We'll tidy you up in no time." He let go quickly. The male's skin felt hot to his fingers. It seemed like the infections were indeed setting in. "You need to lie down your wounds need to be cleaned out."
He helped Alec lay down on a small cot as the food and medicine arrived. Brice got busy cleaning him up. Alec would hiss softly and twitch, but otherwise made no sound as his wounds were cleaned out. This was only possible since he kept his jaws clenched. It hurt, and not only a little. It hurt badly. It didn't help that the muscles in one of his arms had been severely damaged either. That pain was only just setting in however. He was just glad the bone wasn't broken. It would be a weakness until the muscles healed themselves. Thankfully, that would be possible due to the power of the wolf blood. Brice, once done, called the servant.
"Please feed him slowly and make sure he gets his rest." He had to distance himself. Getting too familiar with the new wolf was a bad idea.
Managing a weak smile, Alec mumbled his gratitude. "Thank you, Alpha...." He said, before holding still. Movement hurt, and he was glad the servant was feeding him. It would have been difficult to do on his own. His eyes never left the Alpha however. He was a thing of beauty. This was going to be difficult to control himself.
