Kurorimi is a long name for such a small boy and Yuuri means Lily.
Next morning even though I’m dead tiered from my nearly sleepless night I’m eager to go to school. It might not be such a bad idea to finish my high school. Therefore, I quickly eat two bowls of oatmeal before I took care of my morning rituals. I ran almost all the way to school since I was a little late.
The moment I arrived at school I had a little welcome comity one the front steps. The two jocks were accompanied by a few policemen. The two seniors shuddered noticeably when I smirked at them.
“That’s the guy. He’s the devil that almost killed me.” My smirk only widened when the first jock with a bandaged nose said that pointing at me.
“I’m not going to deny it.” I said before a policeman even bothered asking.
“You know aggressing people on the street like that can get you in prison boy?” One of the policemen asked.
“I that what the story turned out to be?” I asked cockily. “If that’s the case, I’d be honoured to get thrown in prison for beating up these jackass.” I said proudly.
“See, this guy doesn’t even show any remorse at what he did.” The second senior said.
“Really, you should consider yourself lucky the boy hung around because I would have done much worse than I did.” I said. The policemen got worried at my attitude and moved in front of the jocks in case I decided to do something crazy.
“What boy? Was there another boy involved?” A policeman asked.
“You guys didn’t tell them about Namikaze Nomi? I don’t see why you’d leave that part of the story out.” I said. The policeman looked at the two seniors.
“Was there another boy involved?” They asked the students.
“No” The first jock tried to deny shakily.
“If you want answer, ask Namikaze Nomi. He’s in ninth grade at this school.” I said.
“Come inside the dean’s office, we’ll ask the boy his side of the story.” A policeman said. I shrugged it off nonchalantly and followed them inside. To save me the trouble it seemed that some people were already waiting in the dean’s office. Namely, Namikaze Nomi, Yamato Chantal the dean and a woman that looked enough like Nomi to be his mother. The two boys clearly winced when they saw the blond boy and his mother. After all, I had two witness against their words.
“Yuurinii, I was afraid you wouldn’t come!” Nomi exclaimed running up to me.
“You look better this morning.” I told the boy, he nodded cheerful.
“Thank you so much for saving my boy!” The woman exclaimed. She was a short woman with a round face. Her hair were light brown and her eyes were blue, she was clearly not Asian. I thought Nomi looked strangely European so it doesn’t surprise me that he’s only half.
“It was nothing really. Anybody would have done the same.” I said scratching the back of my head.
“No, no. You deserve to be praised, my Nomi is worth the world to me!” She said and I blushed at her praise. I’m really not used to getting any kind of gratitude.
“Don’t be modest Yuurinii. I can’t even imagine what would have happened to me if you hadn’t walked by.” Nomi said.
“You have to let me thank you properly. Come to my place Saturday for supper!” She said happily. With these two thanking me at the same time I was too embarrassed to even say a word. However, with both Nomi and Chantal as witnesses I barely needed to defend myself. I quickly got the police off my case. To my embarrassment, I was also praised by the dean.
When I finally got out of the office I was all flustered by the compliments. It’s not in my habitudes to be treated like a saviour. I usually stand on the side of the bad guys. By the time this case was over there was only about ten minutes left until the next class. I ended up smoking on the same steps as yesterday. After my little argument with Mr Haines, the music teacher.
There’s no way in hell he’ll let me into his class. Moreover, I’m not so sure I want to see his creepy faced nephew. I’m still a bit embarrassed about the confession yesterday.
Not that he really seemed to care. He didn’t even bother look up at me when I said that. That brat probably hated me even before I confessed to him. He must have been disgust by me when he saw me playing guitar in the street for money. To him I must be some kind of worthless scum. I hate people like him who judge others just be what they look like. Through the years, I realised that most human are like that anyways. After all, I’m glad he’s not a girl, she would have probably thought the same.
“Do you have a smoke?” That same voice that crept up on me yesterday. I grunted and pulled out a cigarette from my pocket.
“What do you want now?” I asked.
“Only to keep you company.” Chantal said sitting on the stone steps beside me. Normally I might have wanted to chase her away but she did save me a great deal of trouble this morning so I might tolerate her for a while.
When the bell rang I headed for my second class, which was history. This sounded somewhat interesting. Since I grew out in Japan all I ever learned was Japanese history, and I enjoyed it. But this will be my first Canadian history class, I’m looking forward to it.
I sat in a seat in the back. I was quite glad to see that as the class was filling up there was no sign of the redhead; I wouldn’t have to deal with him for yet another hour or so. However, the person that sat beside me was quite a show all by himself. At first glance if you didn’t noticed his pure white prince-like uniform you couldn’t possibly miss the mass of shoulder length bubble gum pink hair on his head. The strange boy sat beside me took out his books then turn to me with a large grin on his face to say:
“Good Morning! You must be new; I’ve never seen you around! My name is Tooru Santa but you can just call me Santa.” He said holding out his hand at me. The cheerful outburst surprised me but I took his hand nonetheless.
“I started only yesterday, I’m Inoue Yuuri.” I said giving him a smile of my own. This guy seemed to be a pleasant person to be around.
“Nice to meet you, Yuukun!” he said just as cheerfully as before.
“Yuukun?” I asked glaring at the offensive nickname.
“Sorry, do you mind, I have a tendency to nickname people.” He said rubbing the back of his head.
“That’s okay, some people use to call me that back in Japan.” I explained. His grin only widens and a strange glitter appears in his eyes. “What?” I asked raising an eyebrow.
“You really come from Japan?” he asked.
“Yeah, I’ve only been here for two years.”I explained.
“That’s so awesome! I always wanted to go to Japan! Most of the students here are only kids of Japanese people and only few have actually went to Japan. I’m a big anime fan! Do you know how to use a katana?” he manages to say all in one breath, he’s practically bouncing off his chair.
“Well I did learn kendo.” I answered his last question.
“You’re my new idol!” He said grinning even more if that’s even humanly possible. This enthusiasm is almost scary. “Do you like anime?” he asked.
“Well, not really, I don’t hate it, I’ve watched a few like Akira, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Yu Yu Hakusho on tapes but that’s as far as it goes.” I answered. Back when I was in Japan, I never really had time for watching television and most of my hobbies were more the ‘grown up’ hobbies.
“I watched those too, they were all awesome!” he said cheerfully. I doubt he’d be as amazed with me if he knew what kind of life I used to have, but I’m not about to break his fun.
“Say, now that I’ve answered all your questions I have one my own. Why is your uniform white and so…prince-like?” I asked.
“Oh that! That’s because I’m the third year representative. These are the uniform worn by the members of the student council. It’s some kind of tradition to call the representative ‘princes’ and the president ‘king’.” He explained. It’s unusual but I guess it’s a fun way of doing it. No wonder Santa is so social, he’s been voted representative for his year, people must love him.
Santa and I chatted pretty much all along the class. He asked me many questions about Japan which I answered with a lot of pride, I’m very patriotic.
Moreover, that class ended up being the one where the teacher was giving the upcoming assignment. Santa offered to do it with me and I accepted since I don’t really know anybody else and I don’t hate the guy. When the lunch bell rang, my new friend needed to leave to attend a student council meeting. However, he gave me his phone number so we could settle on a meeting date and place. Now I only need to get a phone so I may call him.
Fortunately, I’ve been putting some money on the side to buy a phone since it’s very inconvenient when my boss needs to call me to make a shift change.
I made my way toward the cafeteria. I hope they sell cheap food there since I only have a couple of bucks left to finish the week. I looked at the menu board in attempt to find something in my price range. They sell decent sandwiches for two dollars. That would be nourishing enough so I fish out what change I have left in my pocket. As I count I realise I might have been even poorer than I expected; I’m short of twenty cent. Could I have even worst luck?
“Would you hurry up I’d like to get my food too!” The person behind me said, I turned to glare at the offensive person only to meet with a delicate feminine figure. I instantly remembered her, she was that girl who asked me to sit beside her yesterday. I gave her one of my killer glare but her frown suddenly turned into a smirk. She must have just recognized me too.
“What’s the matter? You don’t have enough to pay for your lunch?” she asked.
“That’s none of your business!” I snapped. Her smile only widened.
“Well, since I’m a really nice person I might have offered to pay for you.” She proposed however, the way she asked it send shivers down my spine. This girl seems to have alternate motives for buying me lunch.
“Why would you buy lunch for someone you don’t even know?” I asked raising an eyebrow.
“You got me.” She said. I knew she wanted something from me! “You see I’m in charge of the school cafe and I’m low on staff. I would pay you ten dollars the hour and it’s only on from the end of class until five, seven on Fridays and on Saturdays.” She explained.
“What’s the catch?” I asked, this seemed too sudden to be a good thing.
“None, don’t be suspicious Inoue kun, like I said I just think you’re good looking and since the majority of our clients are girls it would be a good advantage.” She explained.
“I guess that wouldn’t be so bad then.” I said slowly, still debating whether I should accept. A few bucks more every now and then wouldn’t be too bad. I’m not really in a position to refuse money anyways.
“So you accept.” She asked her eyes glittering hopefully.
“Yeah, I’ll do it.” I said nodding determinedly. I didn’t have anything to lose from this offer.
“Great!” She said clapping cheerfully. “Like promise I will still buy your lunch. Go sit somewhere I’ll join you!” she said heading toward the line up. I head toward an empty table. I never expected to get a free lunch for my good looks.
“My name is Shindou Ren by the way.” She said as she set the food trays on the table. Shindou Ren? That name sounds awfully masculine... My eyes suddenly widened.
“You’re a guy!” I exclaimed standing up in utter shock. A grin appears of his face.
“You seem to have problem differencing people’s sex, Inoue kun.” He said proudly.
“But this is just insane! You’re wearing a girl school uniform and your face is so girly!” I shouted in disbelief. Everyone turned their attention toward us.
“Inoue kun, settle down, you’re attracting so much attention.” He said trying to suppress a laugh.
“How do expect me to know you were a guy!” I said, still rather loudly.
“Calm down, you’re right you couldn’t have known. However, this is an all boy school after all.” He said. I finally sat down but I wasn’t quite over the shock yet. “I’m the president of this school’s Lolita club. The only club of the sort in the entire country!” he said proudly.
“So is your cafe an Okama cafe too?” I asked. He nods happily. “No way! I am not working in an Okama cafe, you’ll never, make me dress up as chick!” I shouted standing up yet again.
“Sit down Inoue kun, I won’t make you dress up as a girl, not only Lolita’s can work at the cafe. There are quite a lot of guys too. It’s to appeal to both male and female clientele.” He explained, trying to make me calm down once again. I sat down and started to chew on my food angrily.
“Fine but you better not try to make me dress as a girl or I’m leaving for sure!” I exclaimed. Shindou nodded, the satisfied smile never left is face.
However as I tried on the uniform I had trouble remembering myself I was doing it for the money. I had to wear a baby pink dress shirt, PINK, with the black dress pants, beige sleeveless jacket and red bow at my neck. I sure felt like an idiot as I look at myself in the mirror.
“Come out Inoue kun, I want to see how it looks!” Shindou called from outside the dressing room.
“It looks stupid.” I growled.
“I’ll judge it for myself. Now, come out before I have to get in and drag you outside myself!” He threatened. I sighed and finally decided to show myself.
“There, happy now?” I asked crossing my arms. Shindou was wearing a pink knee length dress with long frilly cuff less sleeves, as well as the beige sleeveless jacket, the red bow at his neck and the beige knee socks. The dark haired okama gasp as his cheeks turned slightly pink. “What’s wrong now?” I asked, I was starting to lose my temper.
“Nothing, it fits you like a glove. You’re really handsome, the girls will go crazy over you!” he exclaimed trying to contain a giggle. I blushed slightly at the compliment even though the I managed to keep the glare on my face. “Oh! I forgot the most important! Have you ever worked as a waiter?” he asked.
“Yeah, I currently work as one.” I said.
“That’s good, then I won’t have to train you all over. You’ll eventually get to know the menu by heart, it’s not that difficult, it’s mainly coffees and pastry. However there is the weekly pastry that changes every week.” He explained. “The cook this year is Vivarelli Sakurai, he’s half Italian and he’s only a first year but one heck of a cook.” He added. I tried to get as much information as I could, this job didn’t sound too hard, it would be some easy money!
“I think I can handle that.” I said.
“I’m glad you feel that way because two of my employees are missing today and I’d need you on the floor right now.” He said.
“Sure.” I said sounding very confident. Of course, I never imagined a high school cafe could be so full! It was packed with a bunch of guys drooling over the young Lolitas and even more loud school girls going hysteric over the only ‘male’ waiter. I gulped nervously. This was far from what I imagined; I’m used to serving civilized adult not a bunch of noisy teenagers. Will I be able to keep my fiery temper under control?
“Start by taking care of these girls over there, they’re regulars from our sister school.” Shindou explained while pointing at a bunch of girls. I nodded then walked over the girls.
“Could I perhaps find you ladies a table?” I asked as nicely as I could. They stopped talking for a moment to look at each other then looked back up at me.
“Are you new here?” A brunette asked batting her eye lashes at me.
“I’m starting today, my name is Inoue Yuuri. Please don’t be too hard on me.” I said bowing in a typically Japanese fashion. This action only earned me a squealing fit from the teens.
“Kya! Yuuri kun is so adorable!” A blond squealed. I later learned her named was Suguru Yukari.
“Don’t call a man adorable it’s embracing.” I said glaring at the girl, she only squealed and giggled some more.
“Yuuri kun as such a sexy angry voice!” the brunette said. Which I learned her name was Ichinose Junko, she’s the leader of the bunch and she would become some kind of teasing tyrant.
“I’m not kidding I’m really angry, and I never gave you permission to use my first name!” I growled angrily.
“Kawaii!” they all squealed in union. I clenched a shaking fist.
“Can I get you to a table?” I asked desperately trying to regain my temper.
“Yes, and we’ll all take mochas with extra topping.” The brunette said. I lead them a table and hurried away to make their mochas. These girls are a bunch of crazy fan girls; I don’t know how I managed not to hit one! I quickly made the mochas as I learned to make them at the Italian restaurant. I always make them a bit more bitter then sweet but that’s my personal taste, I don’t have that much of a sweet tooth.
“Do you think Yuuri would be Seme or Uke?” I heard one of the girls ask as I came back with the tray. Seme or Uke... that does it! I walked up to the table and slammed the tray down slashing the hot drinks everywhere.
“What did you just say?” I shouted leaning over her. The other girls just squealed again.
“He actually knows what it means!” said one of the girls.
“Of course I do I’m Japanese!” I snapped at her.
“He’d be the Seme!” Junko said.
“Oh, I bet he’d be the Uke with the temper he as!” Yukari said.
“First of all I’m not gay and second I would never be a bottom!” I shouted attracting all the attention to myself.
“But you confessed to another boy in front of your whole class.” The girl argued. My face became as white as a sheet and I turned to Shindou Ren.
The grin on his face gave him away.
“You told everyone about yesterday?” I shouted.
“Of course! I was amazed by how strait forward you were. I had to tell everyone about your heroism!” Shindou said cheerfully.
“But I thought that the brat was a girl!” I said in attempt to defend myself, my cheeks must have been beat red.
“You don’t have to be embarrassed about it Inoue kun, I respect you for what you did!” said the dark haired Okama. I slammed my fist down the table violently.
“I don’t like that arrogant brat! I’m not gay!” I shouted.
“He’s totally in denial.” The brunette said.
“I am not!” I barked, I was shaking with rage.
“Come on Inoue kun, we still have a lot of clients to serve.” Shindou said starting to drag me away. I can’t believe the gust of these girls, they dare mock me even as I get enraged, if they only knew I would be able to kill a man they would bow every time I’d walk by! However, for some reason even as they mock me I can’t bring myself to hit any of them. I’ve gotten soft by staying in Canada.
I send occasional glares at Shindou and the girls as I serve my clients. They’re still laughing, I bet they’re still mocking me. I’m not gay for God’s sake, what do I have to do to prove them?
“Don‘t worry about it Yuurinii” I heard a voice as something tugged on my shirt from behind. I turned to face the person calling me. Nomi tugged on me cutely.
“Hey! You work here too!” I exclaimed, he was wearing the same dress as Shindou was. I couldn’t help thinking he must have been the cutest thing on earth. He looked like a little girl wearing that dress. He’s the perfect candidate for a place like this.
“Yup. I’m glad you agreed to working here!” He said cheerfully.
“Did you know Ren was going to ask me?” I asked.
“Yup, I’m the one that proposed you should work here.” He said, as he smiled he closed his eyes and looked somewhat like a Japanese fox. “I thought you might like this school better if you made a few new friends.” He added brightly. I couldn’t help but smile back at the younger boy. I rarely meet people so nice. Most people treat me like nothing more than a poor street punk. But I can’t say this kind of attention doesn’t make me feel good.
“I didn’t need to work in a creepy Okama café to make friends.” I said crossing my arms over my chest. Sadly I’m too proud to say something nice like ‘thank you’. Not that I ever really get any help from anyone. The boy still chuckled, he saw right through my act. My false anger couldn’t even fool the boy.
“You’ll like it, you’ll see.” He said.
“You two can go take a break in the back store.” Ren said as he walked by us. I nodded and Nomi grabbed my arm.
“Let’s go to the kitchen, if it’s not to busy, Sakurai will make some hot chocolate for us. You’ll see, he makes the best!” Nomi said dragging me off to the kitchen. I have to stop myself when he says hot chocolate. If there’s one thing I can’t eat it’s chocolate. Even the smell makes my stomach twist. When I imagined an Italian baker, I was far from expecting what I saw. The boy was nothing more then a tenth grade student. Like Nomi he would have been absolutely perfect to dress up in a Lolita costume. He had big green and brown hair that stopped at chin length. He was about the blonde’s height too.
“Oh, you must be the new waiter, Inoue san, if I’m right?” The boy asked. I nodded. “I’m Sakurai Vivarelli!” He said smiling up at me.
“Is it me or do you look a little alike?” I asked.
“We’re cousins” Nomi said grabbing the brunette’s arm. They both smile up at me. There seem to be inhumane cuteness running in the family!
“Did you come here to get hot chocolate again?” Sakurai asked. Nomi nodded.
“Do you want some too Yuurinii?” He asked. Yep. The two of them are undoubtedly related.
“No, no hot chocolate please. Black coffee would be nice though.” I said, the boy nodded. He gives the boy an extra sweet cup while I drink my coffee.
After the rough start, the rest of my shift went very smoothly. As long as I stayed away from the group of crazy fan girls and the dark haired Okama everything was fine.
“You were good Inoue kun.” Shindou said after all of the clients had left. I glared at him.
“Come on; are you still mad at me for earlier?” He asked.
“You’re lucky I didn’t just walk out of the cafe or even worst punch you.” I growled.
“Believe me Inoue kun, this was all in good form. They were only teasing you.” He explained. I crossed my arms. However, what he said was probably true, these girls might have just wanted to be friendly. I must have known that even though I got angry I wouldn’t have hurt any of them.
Shindou Ren gave me fifty dollars as he promised. That kind of extra money is going to be extremely helpful, I consider myself lucky I met the Okama.
Nevertheless, since I finished at five I had to run home and get dress to get to my other job at six. Unfortunately, I got there ten minutes late but Nestle was there to cover for me. Next time I’ll bring my uniform at school, then I won’t have to run as much.
When Saturday came around, I was looking forward to the supper and Namikaze Nomi’s house. I’m growing quite fond of the young boy; he’s so adorable it’s almost hard to believe he’s already in 9th grade. He’s always smiling and laughing it made me even look forward to work at the cafe!
Nomi gave me clear direction to his house; it’s only about twenty minutes away from my place. As I looked at it again I realised it was much better looking than mine is. It’s nor a castle or a mansion but it’s still a big place with a brick facade and a large yard. It’s the kind if place that would be perfect for raising children. I felt almost ashamed to be wearing my ripped denim to come here. Maybe I should have worn my school uniform but then I’d really look like a geek. Beside, they’d better not judge me for how I look, their the one’s that invited me over.
I knock on the large wooden door then shoved my hands in my pockets, it’s a rather cold day today but it’s supposed to grow warmer during the week. When no one answered, I knocked again, slightly louder to make sure I’d be heard. I tapped my foot impatiently and crossed my arms. Just before I knocked again the door slowly opened up.
“Sorry for the wait.” An unusually monotone voice said.
“You!” I exclaimed pointing rudely at the scary faced redhead.
“Inoue Yuuri, did you come all the way here to confess again?” he asked, not even bothering to look up at me.
“No way!” I shouted. Damn! I must have come to the wrong place. What were the chances that I would end up at this brat’s house! “I got the wrong place!” I stuttered turning on my heels.
“Yuurinii, wait a minute! You didn’t get the wrong place!” Called a voice that I instantly recognized as Nomi’s. I stopped dead in my tracks. Did I get the right place? Blond boy runs up at me.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t answer the door; I was in the basement getting food for the supper.” He said smiling cheerfully. “Hurry inside it’s so cold out there.” Nomi said grabbing my arm and pulling me inside the warm house. The redhead shut the door quietly behind us.
“If I’m at the right place then what is that guy doing here?” I said pointing at the red haired boy.
“Him?” questioned Nomi grabbing the redhead’s arm. “He’s my older brother!” He said grinning.
“What!” I exclaimed. As I am dumbfounded, I switch me gaze between the two boys. It’s unbelievable, they don’t even look a thing alike. Nomi is an angel-like kid and the other is gloomy, unattractive and just plain creepy. Nomi nodded.
“Yuurinii, this is my older brother, Namikaze Kurorimi.” The blond said proudly taking his brother’s arm and holding it out for me. Since Nomi was so proud to introduce me to his brother, I politely toke his hand and shake it.
“Actually, we’ve already met, we have a class together.” I said. “I would have never guessed he’d be your brother.” I explained. I didn’t even know his name before Nomi said it. Namikaze Kurorimi, it’s some impressive name for such a small guy. It’s probably why the guy that was with him when we met only called him ‘Kuro chan’.
“I’m grateful for what you did for my brother.” The redhead said bowing respectfully.
“It was no problem.” I said, clenching my fist. He’s still as emotionless as the last time we met, I can’t help but feel ticked off by his attitude. I think even Nomi can feel the tension between the two of us. Even as he thanked me he didn’t even sound grateful, the tone of his voice never changed.
“It’s so awesome that you guys know each other!” said Nomi trying to lighten the mood. “Let’s go to the kitchen, mom made snacks.” He said grabbing both of our arms. Kurorimi and Nomi were about the same height, it was almost hard to tell which one was the oldest. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the blond outgrowing his eldest in a few years!
The kitchen was quite large, it’s divided in two, one part was the dinner hall where the table was and the other part was where the counter was, there was also an Island in the middle with a few chair. The lighting gave the kitchen a very warm feeling.
I sat at the table and Nomi made is brother sit beside me. I kept glaring at the redhead even though he was ignoring me. I can’t stand that arrogant brat! I definitely wouldn’t stay if it weren’t for Nomi.
“Stay here for a moment, I’ll go get some snacks!” said Nomi clapping happily disappearing in the kitchen. The redhead brought his legs up on the chair sitting cross-legged and he looks strait forward never glancing my way. The silence was driving me mad.
“Hey, Kowai Kao Kuro!” I called out rudely. “I didn’t see you at all at school, do you hide in that music room all day?” I asked not really knowing what to say to him. Maybe I should apologize to him, I was pretty rude to him the other day.
“It’s Kurorimi.” He said calmly.
“Isn’t that a long name?” I asked.
“How should that matter? Yours sounds very gay and I still call you by your name.” He said.
“What did you say?” I asked standing up and slamming my fist down on the table.
“Yuuri means lily, it sounds gay.” He repeated.
“Okay you’ve done it! I was about to apologize...”
“I accept your apologizes.” He said cutting me off, I’m to startle to even finish what I was saying. That’s when I realized I had just apologized to him without really intending to.
“You brat. You tricked me into saying that!” I barked pointing at him.
“You’re the one that was foolish enough to get tricked.” He said, for once actually looking up at me. Heat rushes to my cheeks once a again. He cocks his head to the side gently.
“Are you mocking me?” I asked through clenched teeth.
“I was only teasing you; don’t get so angry Nomi will think we’re fighting.” He said before he went back to looking in front of himself. I blushed even further if that’s even possible. He was only teasing me? His face never even changed!
“Here! I brought some cheeses and biscuits.” Nomi said as he set a large plate of snacks on the table. “Is there a problem?” he asked since I was still standing up.
“Your brother is creepy! Does his face ever change?” I asked pointing at the redhead again.
“Kuronii’s face?” the blond questioned as he looked as his brother’s emotionless face. “I guess it never does change.” He said innocently plopping down next to his elders. “But that doesn’t mean he’s angry or anything, he’s just not really good at expressing his emotions.” The boy said hugging his older brother and rubbing their cheeks together. ‘Not really good at expressing his emotions’ is more than an understatement! I’d say he can’t express emotions at all, and it’s very creepy! Kurorimi doesn’t really seem to mind the attention though, he lets his younger sibling hug him practically to death. I shiver as I look at him.
“That brat is not normal.” I said rather to myself then to them.
“Define normal, Mr. Blue haired lily.” The redhead, I send a glare that could kill in his direction.
“Is that a challenge Kowai Kao Kuro?” I asked giving him the same kind of crazy smirk I gave the jocks before I beaten them up.
“Could you handle one Inoue kun?” he asked unfazed.
“Tension is rising again.” The youngest stated.
“I’m back; I can finally start these parmesan chickens!” A woman’s voice stated as the front door closes, interrupting my argument with Kowai Kao Kuro.
“What! He’s already here!” The woman exclaimed, she must have seen my boots at the door. She rushes into the kitchen with her shopping bags in hands. “Yuuri kun thank you so much for saving my son the other day!” she said grabbing my hands in hers.
“It’s wasn’t a problem at all. Thank you for inviting me over.” I said stunt by her enthusiast. Once again, I blushed at the praise; I’m not used to receiving so much honour. “How stupid I forgot to introduce myself? You can call me Amy, I’m Nomi and Kuro’s mother.” She said yet again smiled.
She looks a lot like the blond. She as long dirty blond hair and blue eyes; however, her skin tone is paler and her face is rounder a bit like Kurorimi. Furthermore, she’s not Asian which must mean her two children are mix race. I’m surprise to see how natural and jolly she is, she’s even wearing ripped jeans like I am. It doesn’t make me feel as bad for coming here dress like I am.
“How are you feeling dear?” she asked turning to her red haired boy.
“Better.” He answered; he closed his eyes as she placed a kiss on top of his head.
“I’m relieved. I’ll go make supper for you boys.” She said before leaving to the kitchen. I look at the brat and frowned in question.
“Now that I think about it, you started school on Wednesday, right? How did you meet Kuro?” Nomi asked turning my way.
“I was at school Wednesday morning; he’s in my music class.” Kurorimi answered before I could.
“Oh, I see.” The boy said.
“You left after that class?” I asked.
“Actually, right after you left I felt sick and went back home.” He answered nonchalantly. I frowned, once again, I had the feeling he was trying to ignore me or trying to avoid the question.
“That’s why I haven’t seen you around all week.” I state. He nodded slowly and took a bite out of some cheese and biscuit. I had forgotten about those. Since I was getting hungry, I decided to try some of those out. It’s the first time I ever eat cheese as a snack, when I eat it it’s usually on something. However, those are very tasty and each one of them is different!
I really enjoyed supper with the Namikaze family Nomi and Amy are so cheerful you can’t get bored with the two of them. I loved the warm family feeling; I never got anything like that back in Japan. I don’t even know who my parents are!
Furthermore, the food was excellent! I wish I could be able to cook like Amy. Nevertheless, Kowai Kao Kuro didn’t even speak another word for the rest of the evening; I never met anyone as antisocial as this brat. I can’t help but get frustrated at his behaviour, he’s been giving me the cold shoulder even since I ever set eyes on him. Not that I deserve and credits either, I haven’t exactly been nice to him. I’m the one that barged in and confessed to him only to start insulting him a moment later. I can’t tell whether or not my confession as affected him or not. If only he wasn’t so emotionless.
I can’t believe I’m still losing sleep over this! I turn to my side and pull my blankets up to my neck. I wish that I could stop thinking about even if it were for a mere second. Then I might be able to find some sleep. Yet even if I do I will only have that dream again, I’ll only see that mismatched eyed girl die once again. I wish that for once, I could save her but I don’t really have any control of what I dream about.
This is the second chapter, as I re-read it I realised how long it really is! So Yuuri meets Kuro agian at the last place he expected!
I just love Kuro, he`s such a snicky little boy. I guess you should expect to chapter three next week. I`ll post one everyweek, or at least I`ll try really hard to. In the next chapter we learn a little more about the cheerful pink haired boy, Tooru Santa as well as a glimpse into Kuro`s past in Santa`s point of view.
This morning I`ll like to share a few pictures with the readers, I love drawing so this is how I imagine the boys to be.

Next week I should have some pictures of Shindou Ren and Tooru Santa to share. Please look forward to it.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter since it came all the way from the bottom of my heart.
Take care, with love-Mimi
