Chapter 1: New School

Suberu reached the registration office without much trouble. As he picked up his schedule, he heard a loud scream coming from the hallway. Suberu walked out into the hallway to find one very upset girl. “Um…miss, you okay?” the blonde said while approaching the girl. “NO! In no way am I okay. I got put in a dorm room with three guys! I don’t even know them!” The girl nearly screamed, throwing Suberu off balance. “What dorm are you in? I’m Suberu Valentine by the way.” He tried to sound nice though he was a bit irritated by her screaming. The girl calmed down a bit and looked up at him since he was a bit taller. “Room number 287. What about you? I’m Cylest Montgomrey. Nice to meet you, Suberu.” The blonde looked at his schedule and read the room number aloud. “287, looks like I’m one of the three guys you share a dorm with. Let’s go up to the dorm and meet our other roommates.” Cylest nodded and they headed up to the dorm. It was a short walk to the dorms since the entrance was just down the hall in the next building. Their dorm was on the second floor by the stairs at the end of the hall. They stopped at the door and Cylest opened it since she had her key out already. “Sounds like our roommates are already here, look at all the stuff in here.” Those were the first words out of her mouth as they entered the four-bedroom dorm. The other two guys were in one of the rooms listening to “Addicted” by Simple Plan. “HELLOO!!!” Cylest yelled over the loud music in the other room, shortly after the music went off and the two got up and headed for the door. “Looks like they heard ya.” “Yea, I hope they’re nice to us. Especially me since I’m a girl.” “Stop worrying about it. They will and if they don’t they’ll get used to you being here.” Suberu tried to smile but was about as nervous as Cylest. Their two dorm mates came out of the room looking a bit agitated. Cylest was grinning widely as the guys came out. ‘Wow! I don’t think I have much to complain about. All three of my roommates are really cute!’ she thought. Now becoming quite common, Cylest was the first to say something to break the awkward silence. “Um, hi. I’m Cylest Montgomery and I’m one of your new dorm mates!” It was easy to tell she was excited about this. “Whatever. I could really care less. Just stay out of my room and we’ll get along just fine.” The one with black and blue hair answered in a rather cold voice. “Fine then, but you could at least be a bit nicer. ‘Jerk.’ Any who, may I ask your names? I also wouldn’t mind knowing some other interesting things about you two.” Cylest wasn’t sure she liked her other roommates since they seemed mean. The one with the slate colored eyes answered first, followed by the one with dark blue ones. “Name’s Ryker Kaori. I’m 18 and I’m a junior here.” “I’m Toshi Mariko and I’m 17 and also a junior. And because I could care less what you think, I’ll go ahead and tell you that I’m bisexual, so if you don’t like it then that’s your problem.” Cylest smiled and began to think that Toshi seemed a lot nicer than Ryker. Suberu had stayed quiet for the most part. He was trying hard not to stare at Toshi. He had hoped that Toshi hadn’t noticed but he was wrong. Toshi had noticed shortly before he mentioned he was bi. “You haven’t told us your name yet cutie.” Suberu couldn’t help but blush at what Toshi said. He hesitated at first then answered. “It’s Suberu. Suberu Valentine…” “That’s a really cute name for such a cute kid.” Suberu hadn’t even noticed Ryker’s arms around his waist and Toshi’s around his chest until Toshi spoke. “You’re right, Toshi, he is pretty cute. Wouldn’t mind sleeping with him sometime.” Suberu blushed deep red at this. He wanted so much to pull away but something was telling him not to. Without warning they pulled away from him while Cylest had been staring wide-eyed at them since Toshi asked Suberu his name. She finally snapped out of her stupor and spoke up. “Well, I’m hungry, Suberu, let’s go eat lunch then go look around the campus.” “Sure, I’m getting hungry too, plus I’m extremely bored.” Cylest and Suberu were almost to the door when Toshi again wrapped his arms around Suberu. “Why don’t you two stay here? Me and Ryker were about to order a pizza, you should join us. Later me or Ryker will show you around.” Suberu looked at Cylest who nodded. “That’s fine with us.” Cylest piped happily.” This way I’ll have time to get my room set up.” Suberu nodded in agreement. “Cylest, you can have the room next to Ryker’s. I want my Suberu to be next to me so I can sleep with him whenever I want.” Suberu felt like melting in Toshi’s arms. He hated admitting it but he found Toshi extremely hot thought he would most likely never be able to tell him. Ryker went to order the pizza while Cylest and Suberu unpacked. When Ryker came back, the little group split up to get everyone’s stuff fully unpacked. Toshi helped Suberu unpack while Ryker helped Cylest after finishing his own. The pizza arrived about half an hour later, stopping their work. “’Bout time. All that hard work made me even hungrier!” “What do you mean ‘hard work’? I did more work than you and it’s your stuff!!” “So, you’re supposed to be the gentle man and help a lady out!” “Whatever just forget it.” Ryker and Cylest came out just as Toshi opened the door. He handed the pizza to Ryker as he came over to the door. Ryker took the pizza into Toshi’s room, followed by Suberu and Cylest. A few minutes later, Toshi came in. He headed towards his bed, dragging Suberu with him. He sat down and pulled Suberu in his lap. Suberu couldn’t hide his oncoming blush, which was quickly noticed by Ryker. “Awww looks like someone likes where they’re sitting.” Suberu’s cheeks turned a darker shade of red, causing Ryker to fall over laughing. Cylest looked over her slice of pizza, complete oblivious to all that was happening. “What’s so funny? What’s going on?! Someone answer me!!!” “It’s nothing, just forget about it.” After all the excitement died down, they finished their pizza then started out on the tour of the campus.
