A/N: Next chapter people, good thing I have a good week off to do all of this type of writing. Introducing my next character... Rei!


The low thrum of the music sort of soothed her ears, she figured this out when she arrived at the place. This little establishment was bigger on the inside then it appeared on the outside, with its comfortable looking lounge chairs and the bar shifted off to the side. Demi currently leaned back into on of the chairs, still dressed in the black dress her sister had picked out for her. She was also wearing heels, thanks to Blaze, and had her hair swept up in a high ponytail, but the bang over one eye was her idea. She spotted her sibling curled up next to the kitsune who must have been Sandune, who looked very comfortable with her as well. It figured that Blaze would start dating someone who looked just as fashionable as she was, the guy was pretty handsome. Pushing the thoughts of her sister out of her mind for a moment, Demi returned her attention back to the song playing from the speakers. She loved music, ever since her father had given her her first (and only gift) an acousitc guitar. Music had been part of her life since then, a sort of therapy at her angry moments. It was then she felt a pair of eyes on her, and slowly turned her head.

Sazarei D'lanco was currently bored out of his mind. Completely and absolutely. He couldn't believe that Sandune had gotten him to come to this club, he wasn't much of a socialite anyway. It's not like he was best friends with the dammed kitsune anyway, Sandune always had to whine or complain or start something. Gritting his fangs against his bottom normal teeth, Rei looked about for anything of interest. He was dressed in a simple white button-down shirt, some black jeans to just fit his skinny frame, and some hightop sneakers. His hair was long, the color hard to discribe, looking white in the low ponytail he had pulled it back in. After a few minutes of casually sipping at his drink, he spotted someone who sparked his curiousity. A woman no doubt, wearing a black dress that suited her body perfectly. She was sitting in one of the lounge chairs on the other side of the dance floor, one long leg of her's crossed over the other. Rei noted that she was pouting a bit, and her lips looked delectable, like he could nibble and suck on them if he wanted to. He growled at himself for thinking such thoughts about someone he didn't even know, but he was about to get to know her. He ordered a drink for the woman, figuring she needed one as he walked over. She had already turned her head by the time he had gotten close enough to clearly look her over. One of her gold eyes analyzed him critically, her still pouting lips drawing back into a normal face. Even though it was halfway hidden, he could tell she had the face of an angel, and already longed to brush that hair away from it.

" Hello. Would you care for a drink?"

That was the only thing Demi heard as the man stepped in front of her. Goodness, he looked more beautiful close up! She hardly knew him and already wanted him for herself. How she was going to do that exactly, she had no idea. Demi nodded at last, taking the drink from his outstretched hand. Whoever this man was, it was like he knew her inside and out, because he chose just the right drink for her needs. He smiled as she took his offer, and goddamn that smile was beautiful on his face. She was still silent, but motioned the the spot beside her for him to sit in. Softly he introduced himself, Sazarei D'lanco or more commonly known as Rei. His tone made her comfortable enough to open up, although he was a complete stranger. As she spoke, the words to her favorite song thrummed gently in the background.

"You had me at Hello..."
