Glass House
I was transfixed by your words
I can, cannot leave that spot you left me in
I try with my might but it seems to have forgotten
Forgotten my body
I am left with your cold stare and the warm spot across my face
In an instant you left and crumbled my world
I am a glass house and I dare not throw stones
But when you came I had no choice.
I broke my walls to let you in
Now I regret my fights to trust
Leave me alone I don't want you back
My heart is in pieces that you can, cannot glue together
I am picking up my life
Trying to start anew but you broke my world
My world with one word
I am a glass house and I dare not throw stones
But when you came I had no choice
I broke my walls to let you in
Now I regret my fights to trust
Pieces of a glass puzzle
And all the world looks the same
Sharp and dangerous
Wanting to cut the tips
I glue back the pieces
The pieces of my heart
Swearing to never love again
Because my heart can't take the disappointing end
I am a glass house and I dare not throw stones
But when you came I had no choice
I broke my walls to let you in
Now I regret my fights to trust
I can, cannot leave that spot you left me in
I try with my might but it seems to have forgotten
Forgotten my body
