Chapter 2

Skyscrapers reflected off the darkly tinted windows as the stretch limo headed toward downtown Detroit. This was a dangerous city if you lived on the streets. Which Colin knew first hand. Either you ended up in prison or were carried out in a body bag.

Coming from poor Irish Catholic immigrants that couldn’t speak a word of English, there weren’t many options for him. Being an enforcer for a small time drug boss, Colin made a lot of enemies. He knew he never expected to live a long life, especially when “The Angel of Death” walked into his life one night. Sean had come to take his boss out who was running an operation, for which he hadn’t received Mr. Diesel’s permission to run.

That night Colin was wounded from the gunfire. “The Angel of Death” walked over, pointing a gun in Colin’s face. Lifting his head, Colin stared death down. He was going to die like a man if nothing else in his life and he was not going out as a coward. That night Sean stayed his hand, giving Colin a chance to live. Colin could still remember Sean words. “You can either join Mr. Diesel’s organization, or you can die here and now for this maggot.” Sometimes he wondered if he should have died that night.

A couple of sobs and whimpers dragged Colin out of fading memories. Looking over at Heath, Colin wondered how he got himself into this situation. He liked Heath; he was a good man in a bad situation. But Heath broke the one law that Mr. Diesel demanded of his employees, and that is loyalty.

“Please, Colin, it was a misunderstanding,” the man whimpered.

“You know there’s nothing I can do Heath. So… Just shut up!” Colin snapped. God, he felt sorry for Heath. But there was nothing he could do.

The enormous dark skyscraper of Mr. Diesel’s office building came into view. The limo did not stop at the front entrance like most but pulled around to the servant entrance so they could go in unnoticed.

Grabbing Heath, Colin dragged him out of the limo with Karl’s help. Heath face was already bloody from the beating that Colin and Karl had given him earlier.

Shoving Heath through the small entrance, they head toward the elevator. Two bodyguards standing beside the private elevator nodded their heads as Colin pushed Heath inside with Karl following. Once inside Colin reached over and picked up the private phone, succinctly nforming Mr. Diesel’s secretary that they had arrived.

Heath sank down upon his knees, crying. He knew death was around the corner.

Karl reached down grabbing Heath’s hair, yanking him back onto his feet. “Show some balls, man,” Karl sneered. Karl hated a pussy and the motherfucker deserved what he got.

As the elevator door dinged, they stepped off and head down a long hallway, Heath sobbing as he was dragged in tow.

The hand carved double oak doors were pushed open as Colin dragged a bleeding man into Mr. Diesel’s office.

“Here he is, Mr. Diesel,” Colin announced as he shoved the bleeding man forward.

The only sounds that greeted their arrival were the heavy breathing and soft moans that echoed across the room.

Looking up from his position at the desk, Jared locked eyes with Colin. A blush crept up his neck. He hated when his time with Vin was interrupted. Jared had no illusions about his relationship with his boss. He knew it was just physical, which happened on very rare occasions, but when it did it was definitely an out of body experience.

Colin blushed but averted his eyes quickly; he didn’t want to end up like Heath. He tried to focus on the spectacular view for which Mr. Diesel’s office supplied.

Vin slammed into Jared, pushing the boy’s body hard upon the large oak desk. Hearing Colin’s voice, Vin looked up, his eyes narrowing on Heath. His first instincts were to go over and put a bullet in between his eyes but that would make it too easy. He wanted to make Heath an example for everyone, that when you betray his trust there are deadly consequences. His hatred growing with each slam into Jared’s tight hole, he could feel the boy wince. He knew he was hurting Jared but he didn’t care; the boy was just a fuck, a way to release some of his stress, nothing more.

Focusing his eyes on the bleeding man that had just entered his office, Vin’s hatred grew. He was sliding in and out of Jared hard and fast. He wanted it over with so he could deal with business. Making one finally thrust, Vin came deep inside Jared. For a few seconds, nothing moved. Finally straightening up, Vin’s cock slipped out. Jared straightened up as well, his cock still painfully hard. Pulling his pants back up, he walked into the side bathroom and retrieved a washcloth. Bringing it back to the office, Jared reached down and washed Vin’s softened cock. Vin jerked his head, telling Jared to leave, which he hastily did.

After the door clicked softly closed, Vin sat down behind his desk. Taking a cigar out of a box, he lit it up, taking a slow draw off it.

“Please, Mr. Diesel, I swear to you, it’s not what it looks like,” the sobbing man begged. “Sir, you have to believe me!”

“You dare to even utter a sound to me!” Vin roared, his eyes burning with hatred.

Heath jerked at the thundering sound of Vin’s voice, his body shaking violently from fear. He knew deep down he was a dead man.

“So tell me, Heath, how is it that we got to this point, with you bloody and laying on my floor, staining my Oriental rug?” Vin’s voice turned silky smooth.

“P-l-e-a-s-e, I swear to you, it was a misunderstanding. I would never betray your trust in me. You have to believe me, Vin!”

Vin’s eyes turned even darker. Given a nod of ‘go ahead,’ Colin kicked Heath in the ribs, sending a jolt of pain shooting through his body. Heath cried out, wrapping his arms around his stomach.

“Did you really think, Heath, that I would not have you watched? Did you think so highly of yourself? I hired you for a specific reason and you failed. You’ve laid eyes on something you weren’t supposed to. Now all we have to do if figure out your punishment. Let’s see what can we do to set things right, yes?”

“I swear I didn’t see anything,” Heath cried out. “Please!”

Vin continued as if Heath hadn’t spoken. “If you had stolen from me,” Vin says walking around Heath, blowing out a puff of smoke, “I would cut off your arms. If you had raped someone, you would have been killed.” Stopping in front of Heath, Vin stared down at him, his hands clenching and unclenching.

Colin reached down and grabbed Heath by the hair, jerking his head back so he could meet Vin’s eyes.

“There’s only one thing I can do to set things right. Colin, you know what to do.”

Colin grabbed Heath by the arms this time, jerking both of them behind his back, slamming a knee between his shoulder blades. Heath cried out, “No!”

Sean materialized out of a dark corner with a deadly looking blade in his hand and an evil smile twisting his lips.

“Oh God, no, Mr. Diesel, please!” Heath knew Sean was called the angel of death. That was what Sean was good for, torturing and killing people, making them wish for death if it wasn’t coming soon enough.

Sean went down on one knee, bringing him eye level with Heath. Pleading eyes met a cold, dead gaze.

A flash from the corner of his eye caught Heath attention. As Sean brought the blade up, Heath could see his death reflected back at him.

Heath tried to turn his head but Colin tightened his grip, shoving the back of his head onto his knee. Sean started cutting Heath’s right eye out.

Vin went back to his desk, sifting through some papers, disinterested in what was going on.

Screams filled the empty halls.

After ten or so minutes had passed, two eyeballs were laid on a silver tray. “There you go, Vin. He’ll never see anything again,” Sean said with a laugh.

Vin looked up. “You’ve done excellent work as usual, Sean.”

“Colin, take the body to the dump with the rest of the garbage.”

“Yes, Mr. Diesel,” Colin said before he called for help with the body.

Sean sat down in one of the vacant chairs facing Mr. Diesel’s desk.

Sean was the only one that was allowed to call Mr. Diesel by his first name. They were childhood friends: both helping each other become the men they were today. Vin was his brother in everything but blood.

“So do you have anyone in mind to replace Heath?” Sean asked as he cleaned off his blade with precise strokes of his hand.

“There is one guy I’ve heard about. He called this morning, needing a job. I’ve had him checked out but I want you to watch him, see where he goes, who he’s with. I want to know everything about this guy, even what time he takes a shit. Do you understand me, Sean? I want you on this for me.”

“You know I would do anything you ask of me, Vin. But why hire someone new? I would gladly take Heath’s place.”

“I trust you, Sean, but I need you here with me.”

Sean bowed his head. He loved hearing Vin say he needed him but cursed him because he couldn’t take Heath place.

“So what are your plans for tonight, Sean?” Vin asked to lighten up the mood.

“Nothing much, thinking about getting laid,” Sean said laughing.

“You really need to try a boy, Sean. Fucking a woman is okay, but to feel real sexual power, you need to find yourself a sweet little twink and fuck him into submission. Nothing like having a man beneath you begging,” Vin said as he stood up and straightened his clothes.

“Where are you off to?” Sean said with a smirk.

Vin smiled as he came around the desk. “Need to go home: my baby is waiting for me.”

Sean rolled his eyes.

“I’ll get you the information that you want within a few days.” Sean stood and hugged Vin lightly.

“See you tomorrow, Sean,” Vin threw over his shoulder as he headed down the hall.

“Yeah.”

Vin stopped at Jared’s desk, leaning over slightly to address its occupant. “Tell the cleaning crew to leave my office alone tonight. I have someone else coming in to take of the cleaning.”

Jared stared up at Vin with lust in his eyes. He knew what Vin was and what he did but he was attracted to the danger he represented nonetheless. “Yes, Mr. Diesel, I will tell them. Anything else I can do for you?” Jared purred.

“No, that’s all.”

Vin headed for his car, never glancing back once.
