You bit me to have sex with me?
Chapter 2
Sitting on the leather couch that was always vacated for her, Melissa sat down and sipped from her cocktail in a bored manner. Scanning the crowd of people, she was searching for someone, a regular at the club that she desperately wanted to get to know. Closing her eyes and listening to the live band on the stage, her calmness was disturbed as the doors of the building opened up, bringing a new aura to Melissa’s attention, Her.
Standing up, Melissa walked over to the newcomer, smiling seductively.
“So she finally makes an appearance.” Melissa smiled and she offered Natalie a drink.
“And why is it your business when I decide to come to a place?” She replied, declining the drink.
“Heh, how very strong of character. Feel any different lately? Had any…Changes?” Melissa knew she had hit something there, the look on Natalie’s face was priceless in her opinion.
“Who are you?” Natalie asked as she started to get a little anxious, unsure of the girl’s motives.
“Well, I can answer all of this properly, if you feel comfortable with going elsewhere. No idea the sort of slums who hang around these joints, might tip some certain people off if you know what I mean. Here, walk with me, outside.” Melissa began to walk in the direction of the door, Natalie following close behind.
“Alright, now tell me what the fuck is going on?” Natalie’s look of defiant determination would have been intimidating to a mere mortal, but Melissa simply smirked and placed her drink down on the bench.
“You, my dear, are a werewolf. How do I know this? It was I who administered that bite to you. Normally, a werewolf would go for the kill, never wanting any competition on prey, but sometimes, they require someone for other means…” She smirked again, waiting for Natalie’s reaction.
“You infected me so you could have sex with me!? That is fucked up. I don’t know who you are, but if you thought that I would jump in the sack with you because I am a werewolf, you were greatly mistaken!” Natalie walked off in anger. She was confused, hurt, and had no one to turn to. She had always believed in things that were thought to be simply a myth, but she would be the one to ask, ‘what if?’
“If you change your mind, and I know you will, you will know where to find me. Follow your nose.” Melissa yelled to Natalie as she rushed off down the street.
Natalie decided to go to the only place where she may get the answers she wanted, the library. Pushing open the old doors, her heavy footsteps echoing on for what seemed like miles. Walking over to the search computer, she typed in a reference to werewolves. Finding the aisle, she read the spines of a few very dusty books.
“Werewolves, and how to kill them… Werewolf origins… What to do if you have become a Werewolf… Aha!” She grabbed the large Tome and flight through the pages. Skimming the lines, she thought it sounded pretty legitimate and took it up to the counter to rent it. Walking home, she could see it was starting to get dark, and she feared as it was the second night of the full moon, that it would not be long until the cursed glowing orb will be in the sky again, creating hell.
