Chapter two:
School bus seats
Evan and Thom Darkye shared a meaningful glance as Frost boarded the bus glancing around for the seat he would inevitably find. Evan smirked as Frost spotted the seat next to one Trevin Near.
You could tell from Trevin’s choice in wardrobe that he was not one to mess with. His hair was a natural black that is usually hard to come by. His gaze a piercing green so dark it appeared black to most. To accentuate the darkness of his eyes he used thick kohl to line them. Thom remembered the day Trevin had run out of eyeliner and had went to school and no one knew who he was. They thought he was a new kid and thusly treated him kindly to only get in response: “Get the fuck away from me you dickless homo before I rip those marbles that you wish were balls off.” It was then that the horrible fate of reality crashed upon their thick skulls that it was Trevin they were talking to and was threatening to rip their so-called nonexistent marbles off.
Trevin’s clothes mostly consisted of band shirts like Ateryu, Godsmack, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, or HIM in black or white usually and a pair of faded ripped jeans. His tongue was pierced, his left eyebrow and his entire left ear was almost covered and a couple were on his right, and his belly button was pierced. Evan was there when most of this happened, yes he and Trevin were best friends ever sense they met in 7th grade when Trevin moved to Yukiu Middle School (6th-8th) and stayed up to Yukiu High School (9th-12th) at least so far. It was their sophomore year and it would be Frost’s freshmen year. Trevin was 16, Evan 15 (he was bumped up to 1st grade his kindergarten year), and Thom was 17 (junior), Frost 15.
The two boys spoke to each other telepathically, “So, Thom, is this gonna work?” Thom smirked, scanning thought waves of the other two boys. “Oh, yes definitely.” Evan chuckled in his seat. “This is gonna get interesting.” They both thought “Might as well sit back and enjoy the show.” Thom chuckled. “I second you on that Evan.”
Frost spotted the only seat he really noticed. The person sitting in the said seat glanced at him and locked eyes for barely a nanosecond before turning away. Frost took in the boy’s shirt, HIM, nice. The boy stooke out like when someone tells you you’re seemingly unnoticeable at a black party wearing all orange. Frost advanced to the seemingly only available spot to sit when someone grabbed his ass, hard. That does not feel great people. Frost spun around in time to hear, “Hey pretty lady where you goin’ I’m right here-“ That’s when Frost grabbed the boy’s head in his surprisingly strong grip and leaned in close to his right ear.
“I am NOT a girl, I have been MALE all my life as far as I and my mother know. I do not appreciate being called a lady as I am not a member of that sex, thank you.” Then Frost shoved the jock into his buddy quite hard. And yet he does not know when he is beaten.
“You could get yourself hurt, girl.” The jock smirked as Frost stopped dead in his tracks. “Oh, you gonna cry?” Frost turned his face a scary blankness mixed with slight sadism. “Hmmm?”
“Ladies, if I could ask you all to look away.” Everyone on the bus looked away under compulsion of Evan and Thom. Then Frost promptly pulled down his pants a few inches away from the jock’s face. “You see that?” The jock nodded in awed shock.
“That is a cock, to bad you don’t have one.” Then the jock looked up into frost’s face. And his eyes widened, Frost’s eyes were now one color, red, and his hair a deep black with gold tips. Frost pulled his pant’s up and leaned in close. “Don’t mess with me bitch.” The last word fells from his lips and with it all the venom he had spat at the useless human. His hair faded back to white and silver, his eyes once again one green one blue, his innocence once again placed around him like a robe, once again human.
That was when Thom and Evan spouted into fits of laughter, Frost turned to see whom it was them grinned and rubbed the back of his neck. “Yes, brother he and Trevin will ‘get along’ very nicely.” “Yes very nicely indeed.” The compulsion had ended by the time Frost had reached the place he designated his seat.
“May I sit here?” Frost asked quietly, all of his boldness gone from before. When he received only a glare in return he sat next to the boy
“Who the hell does this boy think he is? He, like everyone else is going to have to learn his place. Like the one farthest one away from me…” Trevin glared openly at the boy and yet nothing seemed to faze him. The boy turned and smiled. “If it’s a battle of personalities you want it’s one you’ll get.” The two thought at the same time.
