Depressed
She had abandoned him, leaving him a heartbroken wretch with no sense for life. She continues to smile and go on her way as though it were another joke, as if HE was a joke. She laughs. She mocks him. Still why does he love her? She admits to hating him and talking down to him. Then why does he hang onto her every word. It makes no sense. I wish these tears would cease, I wish my heart would freeze. I no longer want to feel the sting of her neglect and so shall I sink deep in my corner, never to love again.
