Into The Raging Sea
Glistening golden rays across rippling waves
The sun descends over rich white peak mountains
Sand beneath my feet reminds me of the earth I stand on
And the shadow looming over me as my mind once again turns to thoughts of her
Her love was the satin pedals of a rose,
The summer's heat,
And the cure to cold winter nights
Now she has sailed into the raging sea
Likely I am nothing more than a memory
And a hated thought
For I could not give her the happiness she sought
Though I did everything in my might
There was no pleasing her demands
A single tear streaks down my face
As I close my eyes her image is engraved in my mind
Now I am stranded, alone and forgotten
Is this my fate?
Misery swallows me
The sun descends over rich white peak mountains
Sand beneath my feet reminds me of the earth I stand on
And the shadow looming over me as my mind once again turns to thoughts of her
Her love was the satin pedals of a rose,
The summer's heat,
And the cure to cold winter nights
Now she has sailed into the raging sea
Likely I am nothing more than a memory
And a hated thought
For I could not give her the happiness she sought
Though I did everything in my might
There was no pleasing her demands
A single tear streaks down my face
As I close my eyes her image is engraved in my mind
Now I am stranded, alone and forgotten
Is this my fate?
Misery swallows me
