Lilly sat by the door waiting for the police constable to arrive she bite her lip and held tightly to an old rosary. “Oh do hurry up new york police are sure slow my baby is out there someone more then like being hurt by some horrid man!” Finally the bell rang and she answered the door as fast as humanly possible. The constable walked in and looked rather glum. “Well what news have you found my Daniel?”

“I’m sorry but we haven’t but we didn’t get some information that he was last seen being carried off by a tall blonde man wearing a long black cloak.” Lilly fainted and she was caught by her husband.

“You must find him and quickly he is suppose to be married in two more days!” Edmund said sounding less worried then a father would think. “Now get out there I don’t pay you fools off for nothing.” He slammed the door in the face of the constable and walked off carrying he’s wife to bed muttering about how useless Daniel was.

Little did he’s family know that Daniel was safe and sound sleeping peaceful in a grand bedroom in the home of the infamous Raul. The ravened haired youth had passed out on he’s walk towards the flower shop and the meeting with he’s future wife. Lucky for him when he had past out Raul was there to pick him up and whisk him away to the safety of he’s home. Speaking of the blonde vampire, He was currently informing he’s many servants that they where to treat he’s new guest with the same respect that they treated him. All expect for one of them snickered, the one was a red hair girl name Marry she was in her early 20’s and like Raul and most of the other servants she was a vampire. “Um master Raul will you be turning him two or he’s just another slow meal?” Marry asked innocently.

“Neither actually, I was hoping make friends with the boy you see he’s a lot like a young man I used to know back in the old days.” Raul said sounding half serious. “Awh by the way marry would you mind making him something to eat like chicken soup or something he seem rather ill and I’m sure a nice hot meal will be a nice treat after waking in a stranger’s home.” Marry bowed quickly and hurried off to the kitchen to do as her master had asked.

“Rose we got a meal to make the master has another guest!” Marry shouted happily to a tall blond hair red eyed woman. She was Marries lover and the woman of the house or so Raul had said many times. “He’s a cutie too bet ya ten weeks of extra chores master’s gonna turn him!” Rose laughed a little then replied.

“I’ll take that bet, Anyway we should get to work.” Rose yawned and pulled out the cutting board and a few sharp knives. “What are we suppose to be making anyway?”

“Something to help an ill human feel better!” Marry answered in an overly happy voice.

“Right garlic and rice stew it is.” Marry mad a face she hated garlic but Rose loved it. Which is why Marry started to work on the race, And Rose took care of the garlic.

Meanwhile the sleeping unwitting house guest Daniel was about to awaken. Blue eyes fluttered open to the light of the room. He tossed and turned trying to fight to stay in his dream world. But finally with a sigh he woke up but he had to blink a couple of times. This was not his room, And the cloths he was now wearing weren’t his either they where in fact a bit big for he’s small frame. “W-what happened to me, Why am I in someone else room, Why am I wearing strangers cloths!” Panic started to set in and he tried to quickly get out bed but feel straight back down. “Oof!”

“Easy kiddo don’t try to get up so fast you clasped in the alley near center street, So I picked you up and brought you to my house so you wouldn’t get hurt.” Raul said as he walked toward Daniel who was now staring wide eyed in surprise when had this new person got there had he been watching Daniel the whole time? “No don’t worry I just came back up oh yeah about the cloths I had to change them for you cause they where soaked and I didn’t want you to catch a cold.” Raul smiled and sat down on a chair near the bed. “I’m Raul Von-Clad, I sorry if this scared you but my honor as a gentlemen wouldn’t allow me to let you lay in the filthy alley while a down pour was going on.” Daniel nodded slightly then crawled back under the covers of the blanket feeling a little embarrassed by he’s behavior.

“I’m Daniel Remington, Thank you for helping me Mr. Von-Clad.” Daniel said bowing he’s head a little. Raul blinked a little boy did this kid have manners but the Mr. Von-Clad suddenly made him feel old.

“Please Call me Raul, I mean I did see you naked no reason to be formal anymore Danny-boy.” Raul said smirking a little. Daniel turned a crimson color, and felt like he couldn’t breathe for second.

“Y-your right and it’s Daniel nobody calls me Danny-boy, Dan, or Danny unless they want a book throw at them.” The raven haired youth replied trying to no sound flustered.

Raul sweat dropped a little the kid was cute but was also pretty brave a little unexpected. “Okay Daniel, I have a simple question for you why in the world would an ill person be walking out in the rain like that.”

Daniel looked at the blankets and sighed softly. “I was on way to buy roses for my fiancée and after that I was going to met her for the first time.” He tired not to sound sad.

“Awh arranged marriage that sucks, Almost got stuck in one of those myself.” Raul said smiling then getting a cunning idea. “Hey do you want to get married to this girl you’ve never met?”

“Well no but I have to for my father’s sake.” The Raven hair young man said with out being able to hold back the sadness in he’s voice.

“You have too?” Raul looked thoughtful for a second when all of sudden the doors to the room swing open.

“Awh master good you’re here Marry and I made Garlic and Rice stew for your guest.” Rose said smiling sweetly as she walked in and placed the bowl of stew on the bedside table nearest Daniel. She looked Daniel over quickly then frowned slightly. “Oh my gosh your so thin didn’t your parents feed you and look how pale you are you need to be outside more!” Daniel blinked a little this person was sounding a lot like he’s mother for some reason. “And look at your hair I bet you haven’t had a proper hair cut.”

“Rose stop your scaring the kid.” Raul said he’s hand on he’s forehead. She looked over at Raul and pouted. “You have to let him answer after all jeez this is what I get for hiring ladies from Germany.”

“I’m thin cause I don’t like to eat much and as for my color well I can’t really go out much because I’ve been ill for well petty much my whole life.” Daniel said answering Rose’s questions well comments. “And as for my hair nobody touches it but me I happen to like it long.” Rose smiled at he’s answers then headed for the door.

“Master I do suggest you let the him eat in peace then get so more rest.” She said sounding a bit different from her usual self. She quickly left the room before Raul could react.

“Hmm She’s right, Eat up that stew believe me anything that Marry and Rose make is class A stuff.” Raul got up bowed and left the room closing the door quietly behind him. Daniel sat dumbstruck on the bed looking at the bowl of stew. He was wondering if he had really woken up or was this all a dream. Sighing He shrugged and began to eat the stew left for him.
