As he spread the fur blanket he'd bought over the bed, I took the opportunity to look around. I'd visited their home many times but had never been in their bedroom. It showed her creative touch. From the trees on the walls to the twinkle-light stars on the sky-painted ceiling overhead, the whole room had a comfortable outdoorsy feeling. The addition of the fur boosted the ambiance.
Through an open doorway we could hear the waterfall-like sounds of the shower running. He called out to her that he'd join her in a minute and began to strip. I followed his lead and had to fight a sudden rush of nerves.
In all the years we'd known each other, the least we'd ever seen each other in was swimsuits. Not that I hadn't dreamed of her in less! I had, and had awakened on several occasions cursing aloud at her for teasing me. But this time would be for real. I sure hoped he was right when he said she would be receptive to our lovemaking. Otherwise this was going to be very awkward very quickly.

Happy 4th of July. Normally I'll only post new chapters on Mondays but I thought I'd give you this chapter, short as it is (but hey! it IS longer than the first one!), early because no one has complained about how short the first one is. The next one is short too but then it gets longer and better(In my opinion).
