Ok. I’m baaack! after a long wait..here is the third chapter! A shocking secret is revealed!

Kito stirred feeling so warm and safe for the first time in weeks. I...want to keep this feeling..so safe..he thought opening his eyes and blinking.
“Well your awake. Cool!” Koneko said cheerily from where she was perched on the bed and Kito did a double take. She now had cat ears and a tail.
“But you..I thought you used bubbles?” He asked dazedly. She grinned happily.
“I know! I am also a cat demon. But a good one. Temoko, Rin and Kouiji took me in when I was little and taught me how to use my powers. They are really nice and brave.”
“Kouiji? Rin?”
“Yeah. The other two “freaks” as you would call us. Rin uses Tarot cards and you saw Kouiji’s transformation into the white wolf. So you use fire huh?”
“I guess so. It kinda just happens.” Kito replied quietly. Koneko just stared at him for a minute before shrugging with a smile. She stood waltzing over to the bed.
“Don’t worry. We all have learned to control our powers. We have been defending Tokyo and Japan for years..at least Kouiji, Rin and Temoko have.”
“That’s enough Koneko.” Temoko entered causing the cat girl to glance up at him with a smile.
“Ok!”
“Could you leave us for a moment?”
“Fine, fine. See ya Kito!” Koneko ran out.
Temoko closed the door before turning back to Kito and reaching inside his pants pocket withdrew something which he set in Kito’s lap. Kito
blinked shocked. A small weird animal blinked sleepily up at him. It looked like a...
“A dragon?” Kito breathed looking up at at Temoko who half smiled.
“A teleporter mini dragon. She can turn invisible, can teleport and has powerful attacks. She is a baby so you can name her.”
“N..name her?”
“Well she is your’s now.” Temoko said turning away. Kito grabbed his shirt sleeve overwhelmed.
“Nobody..has ever given me anything before..arigato.” He said softly. Temoko turned and winked.
“No prob. Want to repay me?”
“With what?” Kito asked confused. His eyes widened when Temoko pressed warm lips to his own for a split second before pulling back and straightening up.
“You just did. I’ll send Rin and Koneko in.” And with that he turned and left the shocked Kito.
The dragon nudged his hand cooing and he hugged it close feeling how warm it was and hearing it’s small heartbeat.
“Thank you.” He whispered again to noone.
In a dark warehouse a shadowed figure turned as another entered.
“You come bearing news?” An icy cold voice asked. Genjo Tenaki emergd from the shadows a twisted smile on his face.
“My pathetic foster brat has revealed his powers. He is the reincarnation of the Flame Warrior Moneko just as you assumed Lord.”
The shadow smirked flashing white teeth.
“Good. This time I will make him mine.” The figure laughed and Kito’s foster father laughed as well..
Kito watched Temoko spar with a tall girl who had long dark blue hair and peircing violet eyes. His little dragon whom he had named Kaze lay snuggled in his arms.
“That girl must be Rin.” Kito murmered watching the girl whip out small cards and throw them at Temoko who created a dark sheild to block them.
“Pretty cool huh?”
Kito jumped as Koneko appeared beside him her face alight with joy.
“Yes. Why are they fighting one another?” Kito asked a little confused. Koneko gave him an odd look before smiling again.
“To strengthen their powers. Temoko will most likely spar with you next.”
“M..me? Spar? I don’t know how!” Kito cried worried and feeling very nervous again. Kaze sensed his nervousness and hissed spreading her wings protectively.
“Do not worry. Temoko will not allow you to get hurt.” A calm voice said and Kouiji stepped up beside the two.
“Kouiji’s right! You’ll do fine. He is just going to train you to your full potential.” Koneko said with a wink. Kito turned his eyes back to Temoko and Rin.
Temoko and Rin landed and walked to where Kito, Koneko and Kouiji stood.
“Well you must be Kito hmm? I am Rin. I am a tarot card mistress.” The girl said with a smile.
“But..theyr’e just cards right? So how..”
“Each one of my cards is as sharp as razorblades and contain explosive powers as well. That’s how.”
“Oh. I’m sorry.” Kito said feeling like he had said something wrong.
“Don’t be sorry.” Rin said tapping Kito’s nose gently and he blinked in surprize.
“So this is the gift Temoko gave you? She’s cute, what did ya name her?”
“Kaze.”
“Nice name.”
“Kito. Come with me.” Temoko said.
“Huh? Oh uh...ok.” Kito hurried after Temoko with Kaze still in his arms.
“Cute kid. Nervous tho.”
“He has been abused since he was young.” Kouiji said quietly.
“Really? Poor kid. Temoko seems to like him.” Rin smirked gently.
“What does that mean!?” Koneko cried.
“Never you mind. Rin is delerious.”
“We’ll see.”
Kito let Kaze out of his arms and faced Temoko trembling slightly. He had seen how powerful Temoko was against Rin and was frightened of being hurt.
“You don’t have to worry. I shall hold back my true strength. Normally your flame powers only come out if you are scared or angry but I will teach you to summon them at any time you want.”
“Ok.” Kito replied his eyes wide. Temoko was struck by sudden memory..
*Flashback*
(“Temoko! Temoko-san!”
10 year old Temoko turned as the small boy ran up to him with a wide smile.
“Look Temoko-san! Look what I learned!” The boy held out his hand and created a small flame which danced with brilliant color.
“That’s so great Moneko-chan. You are learning fast. You’ll be the best Flame Warrior ever!” Temoko said with an answering smile.
“Temoko-san...will we always be together? I love you! I never want to leave your side!”)
*Later Flashback*
(“We have both grown up. I know you want me Temoko-san!”
The now 17 year old Temoko gazed down at his love.
“I do. But we are still too young as of yet.”
“But I love you! You don’t love me do you? You don’t!” Moneko roughly shoved past him and ran...
*End Flashback*
I..never got to tell him how much I loved him, Temoko thought fixing his gaze on Kito. if Kito is his reincarnation..then I could have another chance..to be with the person I loved.
“Temoko? Are you ok?” Kito asked worried. Temoko shook himself and nodded.
“Yeah. Ok. First thing is to relax and concentrate. Feel the power grow within you.”
Kito tried and couldn’t.
“I can’t.”
Temoko moved behind him gently taking both Kito’s wrists in his hands and gently lowering the boy’s arms to his sides as he leaned close to Kito’s ear.
“Try and relax. Feel your body calm itself.”
Kito obeyed and suddenly felt more relaxed than he had ever felt in his life.
“Now focus on the great flame that resides within your body.”
Kito felt warm, very warm and he closed his eyes in discomfort.
“Ah..ahhhhh!” He shreiked throwing his head back. Temoko leapt away as flames burst from Kito’s small body making the air crackle. The flames died down and Kito fell to his knees on the ground in pain and exausted. Temoko knelt to take him in his arms soothingly.
“It..hurts..” Kito whimpered burrowing into Temoko’s chest.
“It always does at first. You can’t quit tho.”
Kito raised his face and before either of them knew what was happening their lips had met in a kiss. Temoko’s arms tightened around Kito as he pushed his tongue into the teen’s mouth. Kito’s tongue timidly came foreward to meet Temoko’s and submitted to the more dominant one as the kiss grew.
“Moneko..I love you so much..” Temoko murmered and Kito shoved him away his eyes filling with pain.
“You..you don’t love me.you love that Moneko person!” KIto stood and Temoko made a grab for him but missed.
“No I..”
“Leave me alone!” Kito shouted at him and ran as his tears flowed. Temoko stood mentally kicking himself. What have I done?
