“Oh yes we should” was his reply gripping her waist tighter and in
one movement throwing her up on the desk. He kissed her deeper, she
received his thrusting tongue as he slid his hand down her leg and
back up to her inner thigh running his fingers along her panty line,

Meghan turned to the dragon lying beside her. Such a cute dragon
really, Nebraxis was from a miniature species, the perfect colour
of the sky on a clear summer’s day with lilac eyes. She was her
bond dragon, hers for the past 500 years, and will stay hers till
the end. Meghan’s clan were Dragonfriends, And had always been
such. Children and dragons were born in sync and on their twelfth
birthday they were bonded. Such bonding meant they could speak mind
to mind and they could never venture far from each other, they were
both extremely hard to kill and could live for thousands of years.
“I’m sorry, I was lost in thought,” Meghan looked up dazed “what
were
you saying?”
“I asked if you had gotten through to him yet” Nebraxis looked at her
curiously, “are you ok?”
Meghan sending a prayer of thanks to the goddess that nebraxis could
not read her thoughts unbidden, “I have made contact, but his mind
works strange and I’m having trouble explaining the situation to him,
” would this silly male wreck things for them all? They had waited
for the right one for 900 years, and things were getting so much
worse the dragonseer had heard whisper of a powerful new weapon that
the humans had created.
“The seer has foreseen that this is the way, the only way, you must
have faith in yourself. With that the dragon rose with a catlike
stretch and padded off.
“Wait for me,” Meghan called after her. Meghan rose wrapped a shawl
around herself and followed her in their morning ritual. Running
after nebraxis warmed her up at least, for it could get cool in these
caves. For such a little dragon she ran like the wind, the stone walls
blurred around her as she ran faster and faster through their mountain
home. She stopped for a minute catching her breath “you win!” she gasped
after the racing dragon. She leaned against the cold stone, breathing
heavily, taking in the chaos around her. Dragons and Dragonfriends
scurrying around her anxious to preform their morning duties, a few
visiting witches scattered here and there. She focused on them for a
moment seeing her home through their eyes.
From outside all that could be seen was a massive mountain, much
larger then any other in these parts. The only other notable thing
was a large cave on one side; it was purposely presented in an
ordinary manner to prevent the wrong type of Being discovering this
haven. Meaning the ignorant humans. However once you entered the
cave and scribed the arcane symbols the great hall opened up to you,
bringing with it a flood of light and noise underscored by the
constant bubbling of the hot spring that ran through the entire
underground city. The city was permantly kept lit by balls of magical
light that hovered near the ceiling.
Having regained her breath Meghan resumed the chase, entering
into the communal bathing room. Meghan shed her clothing and joined
Nebraxis in the steaming hot water, feeling her muscles release their
tension as the heat began to soak in.
