Chapter 2
I was in my room getting ready for school. My room was decorated in pink. My name was Angel Vampir. I was 18 and the Pom Poms captain and I was the perfect catholic child. The uniform had all of the school colors, maroon, green, and white, with a captains C on it. There was a knock at the door. "Who is it?" I asked.
The door opened. "Me you should get down stairs and eat something." My mother said and left the room.
"Ok." I yelled. I hopped down the stairs and went in to the kitchen. I got a glass of juice and a waffle. "I can't believe I am a senior and Poms captain."
"Well you have worked hard." My mother said.
A car horn honked outside. "That's probably everyone right now. Bye." I said bending and giving my mother a kiss. I got my books and my bag and was out the door.
There was a white convertible in the drive. Three girls in maroon Poms uniforms were in the back and two guys in football jerseys were in the front. The guy behind the wheel was my boyfriend Armond. He was the captain of the football team with brown hair and brown eyes. Next to him was Don Wan he had blond hair and blue eyes. In the back was Mickey she had red hair and green eyes. Then there was Nicole with brown hair and hazel eyes. Then Laura with her long brown hair and gray eyes. I walked up to the car. Don jumped out and helped me in after I put my things in to the trunk.
"Well let’s get to school." Don said. We were at school in ten minutes.
Armond opened the trunk and we all got out things. "I will see you later." I said giving Armond a kiss.
"Same here." He said and he and Don went to the football field.
"We should get inside." I said.
"Hey here comes Jason." Laura said.
"I wish he would get the idea." I said after turning and seeing him coming towards us.
"Hi Angel. I wanted to congratulate you." He said stopping in front of us.
"We will be in the school." My friends said and walked in to the school.
"Thank you Jason. That was nice of you." I said smiling.
"I got you this. I hope you like it." He said pulling out a package out of his backpack.
"Why?" I asked confused.
"To congratulate you. Here open it." He said. I took the package and opened it. It was a black leather journal with gold thread all around it. Engraved on it in gold was 'Angel'. "There is a gold ribbon in there. So you can keep your place."
I looked up at him. "I can't accept this. It is to much and I barley know you." I said.
"Please keep it." He pleaded.
"Ms. Vampir you are captain of this squad and you had better get in here now." Mrs. Wincher said she was the Poms adviser.
"Yes Mrs. Wincher." I said. I turned to give the gift back to Jason but he was not there. I turned and ran in to morning practice.
Jason watches Angel run into the school. Each time she writes in that journal he will know of it. Then little by little she will learn to love him. He smiled once he gave her the rest of the stuff on her birthday it would be complete.
"Hey Jas." Some one said from behind. Jason turned around and saw Mark. His family was followers of Jason's family. "I heard about Angel. Was it you?"
"No it was her talent." Jason said. "Lets get to the library." He said and they walked in to the school.
"Hey girl what did Jason want?" Laura asked me after practice.
"Just to give me this." I said holding up the journal. "I have to find him and give it back."
"Why? Keep it tell him thank you." She said. We walked up to a locker and I started to work the lock.
"I don't know I don't think it would be right." I said getting my English book.
"Do it." She said. The first bell rang. "I have to go. See ya." She said running.
"See ya." I yelled. I closed my locker and walked to my class. When I got in I was surprised to see that Jason had the same class.
I was just about to talk to him when Armond spotted me and walked towards me. "Hey. Isn't this great. Come on I already have a seat for you." He said and walked me to the chair.
Mr. Fishner walked in. "Well hello students. I hope you all have had a nice summer. We are going to start off the school year with Hamlet. I am also going to pair you all off to do a certain scene in the play but right now we will start with just reading." Well here goes the first day.
