Incestual Angels

Sai was born in a magnificent white carriage, trimmed with silver and lead by two giant white stallions with silver reigns, his sister would tell him as they huddled together under warm covers after bedtime. And as they raced to seek the midwife, father pained with worry, mother worried with pain, two little angels dressed in winter white cloaks appeared to help them through the night. The first angel brushed the darkened black clouds away so that light of the full moon would allow the stagecoach to clearly see the path before them. The second angel lit the candles in the sky in a line that lead directly to the home of the village midwife, just in case the horses lost their way. However they still had a mile to go, and mothers pains were getting worse.

‘I- I cant take it anymore!’ she gasped.

‘Breath dear, breath! We’re almost there!’ Father reassured her.

Sai’s eyes were big, “What happened then?” he asked, even though he already knew the answer. His sister’s forest green eyes were serious and she said in a low voice, “They never made it to the midwife’s.”

“But then how-“ his sister pressed a finger to his lips, and continued. They never made it to the midwife’s house, but the angels knew what was happening, so even though the carriage had come to a halt, the lights in the sky were shining as bright as ever, because they knew that Roddrick, the family’s personal messenger, was on his way with the elderly lady known as the midwife. Although his father and mother didn’t make it to the midwife in time, she made it to them in time to deliver the child safely.

And the angels were proud of their work, after all it was no easy task to summon stars and ward off threatening clouds. So the child they worked so hard to protect they thought of in a sense, was like their own child, a child of the angels, which is why Sai was born with snow white hair and silver eyes and two beautiful feathery wings.

Little Sai breathed in shakily. He was old enough now to know that his sister was lying about the wings, but it was true that he had spotless white hair and that his eyes and skin were unnaturally pale. At first when he became aware that his feature were not quite so normal, he shaved his head and stood out in the sun for long periods of time to darken his skin, to such a point that he almost suffered from heat stroke. It was then that his beloved older sister told him not to hide from who, or what, he was, and told him that he was a child of the angels and should be proud, not ashamed of his differences.

“But Gwen, you still haven’t told me why mom and daddy hate me,” he accused, “I’m their son right? And if I’m a child of the angels then they should love me even more right?”

His sister tensed, “Well…I wont say hate you. It’s just that daddy doesn’t think you’re his son.”

“Why not?”

Gwen twiddled her thumbs, it was hard but she swore to always be as open and honest to her little brother not matter what. So she said, almost apologetically, “Sai-chan, you don’t resemble dad in any way. You don’t even look like a grandma or grandpa. And I know you don’t look like mom much either, but any fool from afar can tell you’re her son –you have mom’s nose and ears- but any fool can also tell you’re no child of daddy’s.”

Sai was silent. He wasn’t hearing anything he didn’t already know, but hearing it was still different than thinking it. Knowing was different than simply suspecting.

His sister took in his silence for a bit before continuing, “But daddy still loves you. He has a very important job. When he goes away on Sleepy every month” –Sleepy was the old black horse Gwen and he poked fun at because he was much more lazy than their other horses- “he’s going away to work for the King. And for daddy, to have a son that’s not his son is a very shameful thing for someone with his kind of status and power. And it’s very stressful have to work hard and worry about your reputation at the same time. But you see daddy still loves us because even though he doesn’t do the things he should, like tell you he loves you every night like mommy, he also doesn’t do the things he shouldn’t do.”

“What do you mean?” asked Little Sai.

“If he didn’t love us, he would hurt us. He would beat mommy for having a different father for her son, and he would beat you for not being his son.”

Sai nodded in understanding. It was times like this that his sister seemed so wise and knowing.

“You see, so they don’t hate you, they love you very much.” She told him.

“But mommy and daddy are still afraid of me,” he said insistently.

Gwen looked up, shocked, “Why do you say that?”

“Because Daddy’s never yelled at me before. I’ve seen him yell at you when you make a mistake, but he’s never scolded me before. And when I get upset he flinches and goes back to completely ignoring me,” tears began to form in his eyes, “and mommy doesn’t smile at me like when she smiles at you or big brother or Stephie-neesan. When she smiles at you it’s kind and tender, but when she smiles at me it’s like when she’s smiling at a guest she doesn’t like but wants to be polite to anyways.”

Gwen hugged her brother to her underdeveloped chest, “My poor little Sai, I didn’t think you’d noticed. I know I’ve told you this before, but you’re very perceptive for a seven year old.”

Sai broke out crying, “So it’s true! They really are afraid of me! Why?!”

“Shush, there there now,” Gwen comforted

Twelve years later the boy, now young man walked through the midst of the city market, eyes glazed over; his mind lost in the sea of the past.

My beloved sister, When were you not there for me?

His vision began blurr as he stumbled through the crowd.

Why dammit? Why? You were the only one who ever understood. You were the only one who was alive to me. And now...

Suddenly someone rammed into him and he, startled out of his daydream, fell backwards on to the ground. Through his teared eyes he was unable to make out the figure, only that it too fell to the ground.

"Owww! Sorry Mister are you okay?" The other one asked. From the high-pitch of voice he deducted that it was female.

He nodded, quickly wiping his eyes for maximum visibility. He barely made out a pretty young women with short dark-blue hair and sparkling blue eyes. He saw the thin lines of her mouth open as if to form words, but stop suddenly in a short gasp.

Familiar gasps were heard around the two as the rushing crowd suddenly came to a standstill. There were exclaims and murmurs as many of the crowd and whispered and pointed torward the young man.

In his carelessness to wipe away the unbidden tears from his eyes, Sai had accidently knocked off his cap, causing pools of sliver white hair to spill around his shoulders.

Fifteen-year old Sai snuck in through the back door of their old mansion, secretly trying to find his way to the bathroom. He didn't want his mother to discover his blood-stained hands, in risk of making her worse off than she already was.

"Sai-chan, is that you?" called out a voice from behind, just as was about to enter the washroom.

With a start he jumped around, only to discover his sister, as beautiful as ever with locks of earthy brown hair tumbling around her shoulders.

"Who else would it be?" He asked rhetorically. All of their older siblings had moved out years ago. The family could no longer support so many children, and they were all old enough to take care of themselves anyways.

Quietly Gwen scrutinized her younger brother with almost apathetic green eyes. She noticed his hands and the cuffs of his sleeves were crusted in red. Slowly her frown turned upwards in a hal-grin.

"My poor dear little brother, were you being picked on by those two Leachibe boys from the city?" she asked sweetly.

Sai merely nodded, trying to not let too much pride show in his white eyes.

"And did you beat the crap out of them like a good little brother?" She asked with just as much sweetness as before.

Again he nodded as Gwen made her way over to him and rested her hand gently on his head, "You make your older sister proud!" she laughed.

They stopped as they heard a thump from upstairs. That could only mean their dear sickly mother was finally awake, even though it was almost noon.

In a hushed, quickened tone Gwen warned, "You better bathe yourself before mother finds out," then she nudged him lightly in the ribs, "I just got done with the gardening so I'll join you."

As expected this provoked a blush from her younger brother's pale cheeks. Sai's heart skipped a beat in excitment. He loved seeing his older sister naked. Especially now since she was almost nineteen years old and her breasts were round and firm. He jumped at every opportunity to bathe or sleep beside her in the nude, so much that it was almost worth the teasing he underwent every time he grew stiff below the waste. Not that they ever did anything perverted together. They simply enjoyed the time they spent with each other the most and weren't afraid to share any of their secrets.

And recently the two siblings had ample amount of time together. Since over two years ago their father went out on one of his 'buisness trips' and never returned. Only a couple months before did their mother become ill. They had to fire all the maids since little to no income came in except what Gwen and Sai brought in, most of which they were saving secretly anyways. Therefore there was no one around to take care of their sickly mother and they both knew that it was only a matter of time beofre she would be on her death bed.

Yes it was true that Hilde was as shocked as anyone else, to suddenly see some wierd albino looking young man in the center of the Kelvein Market, But did they have to point and stare like that?

"I-it's a ghost!" one of the onlookers cried out.

"No, just some kind of freak," somebody else called out.

"H-how did he get his hair like that? It's disgusting!!"

"I dunno...I think it's kinda cool."

"Really? I think it's wierd."

"You better get away from him little lady," a particularly hairy-looking man called out, "He might just be a Dragon!"

At this there was a collection of gasps and laughter. The townspeople began to argue that there were no such things as Dragons while others pondered sending for the legal officers just in case.

But Hilde didn't care anymore what the bakajin (as she refered to the Kelians and any small-town community) were saying as her tempered snapped and she reached over to snatch the dazed young man's arm and yanked him off the ground.

"C'mon" she grumbled and started to drag him towards the local inn. She couldn't tell if the man was upset or not by the townspeople's gossip, he didn't seem to show a sign of even acknowledging that they were there, nevertheless what they were saying. The man simply and quietly allowed himself to be dragged away by this woman stranger.

At sixteen his mother finally painfully of whatever illness the doctors claimed she had. Six months later he and his sister ran away together to experience life in the city of Doringu. With them both working together they were able to afford a small shack with a single bedroom. They were as happy as they'd ever been. While Sai never particularly socialized with other people, his twenty-two year old sister made several exotic friends. One of them in particular, a red-head woman named Cleopatra (so she called herself) became particularly close with the two of them. She introduced him to a master of martial arts and swordsmanship under who he studied from intensly for the next three years. His skills were incredible. He had always been a gifted craftsman and athlete, so these new arts were no problem. He obtained a vast amount of skill so quickly that it was almost unnatural, something which shocked and greatly pleased his teacher.

The best part about the city of Doringu, Sai quickly discovered, was that in the right part of town there were so many eccentric kinds of people that although everyone took note of his hair color and eyes, few questioned him or were intimidated. No, it was not the Red-Light District part of town, as many would assume, but a part of the city that rested between the slums and the middle-class folks. And, despite the slums, Doringu was actual a fairly clean and well-respected city. In fact, Sai wasn't even sure if there WAS a Red-Light District, which was so famous in many other cities. It was almost the perfect place for the two to live in.

Even if it wasn't, Sai wouldn't care. He soon discovered that as long as he was with his sister, he was content. Sure as time passed both he and Gwen dated other people and experimented in different relationships, but they both rathered to be with each other than anyone else. After all, who else could understand them but they themselves?

Their relationship didn't become sexual until quite a while later. They used to tease each other all the time. Gwen giving her little brother wet kisses on the lips every morning and he groping his older sister's breast through her nightgown every night. But no, they never got really involved until the day he turned eighteen.

By that time Sai had grown into an elegant young man, high cheek bones, a sharp nose, cold black eyes, and toned muslces throughout. He was literally stunning and more beautiful than any woman, even his sister whom he considered the most beautiful of all. Sometimes, he would reflect later on, he wondered if it was his physical beauty that lured his sister to love him that way. Other times he wondered if she had always cared for him in such a way that a brother and sister, whether they were half-siblings or not, ever should. Although Gwen did admit later that it was Cleopatra who convinced her to give in to her desires to make her little brother hers and no one elses, despite whatever anyone else thought of their relationship. Sai himself wasn't aware of the direction he and sister were headed down until they were too far deep to go back (not that they wanted to). He being a faithful little brother simply loved his sister, and would love her in whichever way she wanted to be loved. Even as a passionate lover in the middle of the night, soon to be dedicated husband.

Sai stilled remembered distinctly the first time he and Gwen had sex. As a birthday present Gwen offered that they sleep together again in the nude, for old times sake. She knew it was a lame excuse, he knew it was a lame excuse, but they still went along with the facade, making up excuses of why exactly Sai should stick his erected penis inside that middle hole. They went on like that until the morning after, in which they did it again and again, like scratching an itch that had been there for the last eighteen years.

Inevitably, after time, Gwen became inpregnated and they were easily married (nobody except Cleopatra and a few others believed they were siblings anyways since they appeared nothing alike). And then Sai was not only a friend and a little brother, but a father and husband as well.

It was with these last comforting thoughts that Sai snapped out of his daze and finally took note of his situation. He was in a room with two seperate beds and a washstand. Obviously he was in some kind of inn, and apparently it was one of those joint-bar ones judging by the roudy noises from the floor below. In front of him there was a tray of cheap looking food that smelled awful, yet teased his belly anyways. Without hesitation he picked up the chopsticks and began to eat. A few minutes later the blue-haired woman he saw beforehand walk into the room and doubletake at seeing him eating.

"I see you've finally come to your senses" she observed cleverly.

Sai apologized, speaking for the first time in this woman's presence, "I havent really been feeling well for a while now."

"I see," she said, watching him finish off his plate with remarkable delicateness. "The food's on me, so don't feel obliged to pay me back or anything. It was cheap anyways."

No response from Sai as he took a nice slow drink from his glass of water.

"But it was a pain to bring you here, if you remember. I don't know if you do you seemed kinda out of it. Not that that's bad or anything. But I had to tell the innkeeper that you were drunk and that that was just a wig you were wearing. Then the old man tried to make me promise we'd be quiet during the night before giving me the key," She blushed suddenly, remembering the implications of that sentence before walking over to the window, press her two pointer fingers together in need of something to do with her hands, "W-which is ridiculous of course! I mean, we don't even know each other or anything like that. Stupid oaf, assuming stupid things...."

Here the blushing Hilde stole a glance the man sitting on the bed, who was as unresponsive as before he devoured the meal she bought for him.

"And those townsfolk here! I mean really, calling you a Dragon and crap like that. I mean, yah, you are kinda wierd and stuff, but there is no way in hell you could be a Dragon, nevertheless a ghost, a freak maybe, wierdo, yah, but seriously, how supersticious can you get. And it's so insulting! I'm surprised you like didn't offended and scream at them or something," she continued rambling for the next couple of minutes trying to provoke a reaction from the strange young man she picked up on the street, to no avail.

Sai was, of course, vaguely listening to her. He found it nice that this woman wasn't afraid of him, but he was annoyed with her obvious infatuation. He hoped she wouldn't try anything. If she did she would only get hurt. After all, he hadn't been able to sleep with a woman ever since...

"By the way, what are you doing here anyways?" she asked suddenly, "I mean, these little rural towns aren't exactly the best places for people who are...you know, different...On you here looking for a job or something?"

Sai shook his head and remarked, "A job is a strange reason to come to a rural town, perhaps is that why you are here in Kelvein?"

Hilde was taken aback by his keen perception, " NO! I mean, yes....kinda. I have an interview tomorrow morning...kinda" she drifted off and looked away.

Sai rose an eyebrow in amusement, this woman was pathetic at hiding things, nevertheless his interest was perked. "An interview huh? And what kind of job is this you speak of?"

"Um, well...that's kinda..." she tried desperately to avoid eye contact, as well as the question.

Sai smirked, "Sounds interesting. I've been in need of some money lately, maybe I should apply as well?"

"NO!" Hilde was again shouted, than sighed, " I mean....I don't think you'll be able to..."

"Why's that?" the white-haired man asked.

Hilde answered, "Well....can you fight?"
