Can never run far enough

Realization hits me all at once. His words take a different meaning now. He knows. He knows I’m a vampire. Just as I know he’s a vampire as well. I’ve never meet another vampire besides the one the bit me and that didn’t end very well. I run for my life, or well after life, out of my house. I run through my yard, out of my gate, and into my car through the passenger said which is closest to the gate. Once inside my care I lock all the doors.
Once I’m locked inside my car, I see the vampire slowly walk the path I had just ran as if he had all the time in the world, which I guess he did. As he walked through my yard his eyes gave off this light as if a light shown from within. I wonder if my eyes gave off that glow as well. As he finally approached the care, he looked as if he was a predator and I of course was the pray. Did I move like that? Did I look like I’m on the hunt every time I go outside or does it just run in males?
When the vampire finally got to my car, he slowly circled the car checking every door to see if it was locked. An overwhelming feeling of victory came over me knowing I was safely locked inside my car. Once he finally checked all the doors, he stood at the front of the car and smiled at me as if I was a foolish child. . I look into his eyes through the glass, and he vanishes in mid- air. The next thing I know he’s sitting next to me in the diver’s seat.
“Finally, I know. Now you’re coming with me.” He says as he slowly gets closer and with me paralyzed for some unknown reason. He comes to me as if to kiss my neck but I know better then to believe that. He bites me but it does not hurt. It has the same affect as sleeping pills. I slowly get tired and during this time I feel him at my neck, feeding or kissing, I’m to far gone to tell any more. Then I finally black out.
So, that’s how I ended up in this place. I was kidnapped. Oh just perfect. Like I really need more shit to happen to me. As I wonder if I should get out of bed, I look at the dozen roses. My capture hardly knows me and he already gives me the perfect present. Roses being my favorite flower and red and black being my favorite colors, the roses on the night table were the best gift I have gotten in a while. This gift given to me by my abductor was better then any present I have gotten from my family in years. It’s not to say my family doesn’t love me, they just don’t share my likes. They are always trying to push me to be normal, while I on the other hand don’t truly care if I am normal or not.
I guess I should get up; I’ve been in this bed to long without knowing where I’m at. It’s time to go and find my kidnapper and ask him why exactly I’m here. As I exit the Black and Red room, I see to my left a bathroom at the end of the corridor, I go to the mirror to see if I look the least bit presentable. Unlike many believe, vampires can see their reflections. So many people believe that we vampires are immortal. This is wrong though, we are just aging very slowly. I learned this first- hand from the one who bit me.
As I look at the mirror, I see the same sight I have seen for the last 17 years. Blond waist length hair was surrounding a round face. Gray eyes with hints of blue, green and yellow throughout its interior. It has always been a strange mixture, and has always caught the attention of those close to me. Since I became a vampire, however, my pupil has been slightly larger then before. Pale skin with beauty marks spotting its surface a slight color flushes my checks making me look slightly alive. Beauty marks on either side of my mouth as well as one under my right eye. A curvy body clothed in black, with a face that is not exactly stunning but no where near ugly. I look normal for the most part, I suppose. My gaze then drops to my neck, it has no blemishes though. My fingers travel my neck, not trusting my eyes. They search for anything that is not supposed to be there. My fingers then touch a spot on my neck where the bit should have been. On their own accord, my fingers press down on my neck. When I press down, it causes so much pain that it feels as if I was stabbed in the neck is a red-hot spear. That solved one mystery, no marks, only pain. For the most part, I am undamaged. So I guess it’s time to check out my surroundings.
I search the mansion for my capture. Along the way I find many bedrooms, bathrooms, art galleries, and lounges. Each one of these rooms are decorated with different colors, but they all share one color- black. This mansion could hold at least 50 people comfortably. As I travel through corridors and rooms, I somehow get lost. I could have sworn I’ve been here before. How I am just going through the rooms and corridors, until I finally get to a dinning room with cathedral ceilings. As I entered the dinning room, my gaze wondered the extravagant room. My eyes pass over many family portraits, all of them from a different era. A huge dining table, commanded the attention of the room. The table itself could sit at least 30 people. At the head of the table say my captor.
He looks almost as good as he did before, so relaxed, so royal in his own castle. His eyes are fixed on me as if he has seen waiting for me for quiet some time. As I walk further into the dim lighted dinning room, I carefully take note of my steps. I finally get close enough to him to see a different color in the eyes that I once thought were black. A shade of blue circled his pupil, I stopped my progress. Once again I start to get lost in his eyes. A medium color blue greets me today. How could I think that his eyes were black while they are such a vivid shade of blue?
“You’re awake. Good,” he says with a smile. A smile, this smile is so different then the smirk that I saw last time I saw him. Either a smile or a smirk, this man has this overwhelming charm. Is it just a vampire thing? If so I must have it to. I must remember to make time to practice this new ability.
“Why exactly am I here?” I ask trying to be brave but failing terrible. I silently curse my vocal chords for quivering.
“You’re here because you’re mine,” he says in a matter-of-fact voice.
“Who the hell do you think you are to call me yours? I belong to no body. Now bring me back home or I will leave myself,” I say. After a few moments pause, I turn to leave the dinning room.
“If you leave, I will kill all those who live in that house and bring you back here without any freedom,” he says in a whisper of a voice but it has as much power as if he yelled. I flip him off as I keep walking out the door, not believing his words. I never was great at listening to people in the first place; to bad Mr. Vampire didn’t know that. Thus began my search for the front door.
