A New Outlook on Life

Of course Jade beat the boys by a mile. Kali and her met up with the others. Terrence, Merik, Lilith, Masaki, Tsukichi, (who every one just called chi.) Kit, and Inu were all there waiting in the library. Kit looked up as they all walked in “Hey you guys. Ready for the first day of school?” Jade looked at her and smirked. “Yea just like how I like the first day back from winter break...” Kit laughed as she agreed with her. Out of nowhere a new guy walks into the library. Jade turns as she heard the person enter and she almost gasped, standing there was the most gorgeous guy she had ever laid eyes on. He was tall, about five inches taller then her. He had startling dark blue eyes, with specks of dark green. She could see a hint of mystery in them and she licked her lips in wonder. His hair is what caught her most, it was jet black with one strip of silver over his left eye. His skin was a light brown color, tanned most likely. And his body, she could tell he worked out. Jade turned around and looked at the others. She pointed to him as she spoke. “Who the hell is that?” Lilith smirked as did Kali, Kali spoke first. “I don’t know but he’s walking this way!” Jade just smirked and thought inside her mind, ‘This should be interesting.’ The mystery man stopped in front of there little group and looked at them. He looked cold and indifferent as he looked off of a piece of paper. With a silky mysterious cold voice he spoke. “Could any of you help me finding a Jade Sinclair?” Jade smirked again as she got up and looked him in the eye. “I’m Jade Sinclair, so what do you want?”

He looked at her then sneered. “You will help me find all my classes.” He then turned around and started to walk off. Jade raised an eyebrow and sat back down. “And if I don’t want to?” The new guy came back and yanked her up by her arm. “Wench this isn’t negotiable. You will help me.” Jade got angry, no one touched her like that, not even her mother. She grabbed his wrist and turned it, but saw it didn’t cause him pain. She practically growled at him. “No one touches me like that, no one is that clear asshole?” He looked at her and moved his hand out of her hand. “I was told from the office to find you and ask you to show me around. So wench, care to do so?” Jade sighs as she gets up, most likely the headmaster asked this just to piss her off. “Fine ass, lets go...” She grabs hold of his wrist again and leads him out the library, grabbing her stuff on the way out. The others watched as they left and Kali just smirked as she placed a hand under her chin. “I finally believe Jade has just met her match.” Lilith looked at her and smirked, thinking the same. She looked at Kali. “And I agree with you.”

“Let me see your schedule.” He looks at her with a un responsive look, except for the rasing of one eyebrow. “Why?” She sighs. “So I can see where they hell I need to take you ass.” He rolls his eyes and hands her the schedule. “Here.” She took hold of it and looked. “Alright you have gym first, then english, creative writing, mechanics, government, algebra 2 then finally photography.” He smirks at her. “And how many of those classes do I have with you?” She rolls her eyes as she leads him to gym, which was also her first period class. “Four out of the seven.” He smirks at her. “Intriguing.” “Wonderful...” Was her sarcastic remark as she walked inside the gymnasium and saw Kali, Dri, and of course Tsuki there. She smiles at them and waves, then looks over her shoulder and sighs. “Your on your own, your next class is in hall B downstairs, have fun.” She then started to walk off from him, but then he grabbed her wrist. “And I shall see you again when?” She sighs yet again. “Creative writing... now leave me alone.” He complies by letting her go and watches as she walks over to her friends. He smirks and thinks, ‘This may be a good day after all...’

Jade walks over to her friends. ‘God what an ass! And then he has the Nerve to Flirt with me?! Get real!’ She let out a groan as she placed a hand on her forehead, shaking her head as well. Kali looked at her dressed in her boys gym shorts and her black beater shirt. “What’s up Jade? The guy give you a hard time?” She smirked at my expense as I gave her the one finger salute. “Shove it Kal, that man is without a doubt a sovonistic pig if I ever did meet one.” Kal looked at her with concern as she stopped messing the a badminton racket and walked over to her. ‘What do ya mean?” Jade sighs. “I mean he treated me like I was nothing but a speck of dust underneath his fingernail, and then alter he had the nerve to try and flirt with me? I think not...” Dri looked over and dropped the basket ball that was practicing with and walked over, Tsuki, who was with him, walked behind him. Dri was cracking his knuckles. “Want me to let him know who he’s messin’ with?” Kal and Jade smiled as Jade shook her head. “No Dri, this is my fight and I can take care of myself, no worries. K Love?” He sighs and hangs his head in defeat. “Damn, just when I thought thinks could look up and I would finally be able to show off my skills, you ruin my fun Jade!”

Tsuki laughed. “Dude, you couldn’t defeat a cat what makes you think you can go against that guy?” Dri scowled. “I can beat you dip shit so don’t start.” Tsuki stopped laughing. “You couldn’t beat me even if you tried Dri.” He scowled again. “Oh yea?” Tsuki gave an arrogant grin. “Yea Jack ass!” With that saying Driretlan threw a fist towards Tsuki and they proceeded to begin a fight. Jade sighed and got in the middle grabbing both their wrists and bending them back to make them have pain and to get them to stop. “Knock it off children. I Don’t feel like dealing with this from the two of you at the moment.” She sounded serious and a bit agitated and they both knew not to aggravate her, it brought bad consequences. They stopped and nodded. “Alright Jade, we’ll stop now can you let us go?” Tsuki spoke for both of them as Dri nodded his head. She sighed and let them go as she left to go change into her gym uniform.

Soon enough Jade returned wearing boys gym shorts and a jade green beater. She smirked as she stole the basketball from Dri and began playing two on one with them. She laughed as she played along, getting the ball away from them each and every time. Soon enough 15 minutes went by and Jade was winning by ten points. Then out of no where she was about to shoot the ball when it was hijacked by someone else. She looked and it was that same guy as before. She groaned out. “What do you want now? I thought I asked you to leave me alone...” He looked at her, passing the ball from one hand to another. “How about a little one on one?” He gave a smirk that was full of arrogance and decided. ‘What the hell? You only live once right?’ She gave an arrogant smirk herself. “Sure, why not? I could actually use a challenge, that is if your any good...” She licked her lips as a way of a tease as he just gave a snort like chuckle. “Do your worse then babe.” So the game began...



They went back and forth, though out the entire period. Equal matches both of them. Kali, Dri, and Tsuki just stood there in complete awe as they watched the two play. Coach Richardson blew a whistle signaling it was time to stop messing around and time to get ready for class to end. Jade and the mystery guy were both covered in sweat and were both panting by now. “Nice game.” He said with a smile. “Like wise.” She said with a cool smile. She stood up straight and held out her hand as a way to shake with his, she gave another arrogant smirk. “Next time I’ll beat you...” He shook her hand. “We shall see love, we shall see.” They let go and proceeded to the locker rooms. Kali following Jade and Tsuki and Dri following the mystery guy.
