Chapter 2: Fights & the thunderstorm


The next morning Brittany woke up with a major hangover. She sits up and looks around. She notices where she is, shes at Amy's. 'how did i get here' She said to herself.

"Hey, i see the drunk is awake" Said Amy laughing, as she comes into the room.

"What time is it?" Asked Brittany holding her head.

"Its almost 2 in the afternoon" Answered Brianna.

Brittany got up and went into the bathroom. She looked in the mirrior and saw a red mark on her head.

"What the fuck?, where did i get this red mark from?" Called Britt through the door.

"Beth kicked you in the head on the boat when you were passed out" Answered Amy.

"What a fucking bitch!" Said Britt as she came out of the bathroom.

"We had a huge fight with Jessica and her possey" Said Amy, as Brittany sat on the couch with a confused look.

"Oh, which reminds me, what were you saying before you passed out?" Asked Amy.

"Umm...I don't remember" Britt said rubbing her head.

"Wasn't it something about knowing one of the guys?" Asked Brianna.

"Oh yeahhh!! I do.. i seen conner!" Britt answered.

"Oh my god, really?" Said Amy

"That probably means, that the 2 other guys we danced with, were probably Jesse and Ethan!" Shouted out Brianna and Amy together.

"Exactly!" Said Brittany.

"We were bumping and grinding with our best guy friends!" Said Brianna.

"Thats hott!" Said Britt and Amy together.

"By the way, how did Beth ann know it was me? i heard her say "Its fucking brittany!" Asked Britt.

"She took your mask off, and thats when she kicked you" Answered Amy.

"That dumb bitch" Said Britt.

"Oh, and when are we going on that road trip?" Asked Amy.

"We are supposed to leave tommorow" Answered Bri.

Brittany sat down on the couch holding her head.

"I just want to sleep" She said as she closed her eyes.

"No, we gotta talk about our trip" Said Amy, throwing a can of pop at her.

"Oww!" Said Britt sitting up.

Just then the phone rang. Amy got up and answered it. It was Conner and the guys looking for them. After the conversation, they hung up.

"They are on their way over!" Said Amy.

The 3 of them looked at eachother. One thought ran through their heads. 'Oh shit'.

About 10 minutes later, they finally arrived at Amy's. They say down.

"Yo Amy, do you got any beer left?" Asked Conner.

"No, ran out, sorry" She answered sitting down.

"Fuck" He said as he sprawled out on the couch.

"Yooo, last night was soo awesome" Said Jesse.

"Yeah i know man, but i felt so rejected, when that chick ran away when she saw my face" Said Conner looking at the floor.

Ethan nudged him and laughed. Brittany looked at Bri and Amy, they could see guilt in her eyes. She felt really bad. She could not look Conner straight in the eyes.

"That chick i danced with was soo fucking sweet dude" Said Ethan "Thats also the chick we saved" He added in.

They all started laughing. Britt and Amy look over at Bri. They can see the worry in her face.

"What is wrong Bri?" Asked Conner.

"Nothing, im fine" She answered, not looking at them "Im going to make coffee" She added in as she went into the kitchen.

"So, about that trip?" Asked Jesse.

"Yeah, when are we leaving? Asked Conner.

"We are leaving tomorrow, that is what Amy said" Answered Ethan.

"Okay, well then i am going home to pack, see yall later" Said Conner getting up.

"Yeah, we better pack too" Said both Jesse and Ethan together "We can use my car" Added Ethan.

"Okay, sounds good" Said Bri.

The 3 guys finally left. Bri came back into the living room with coffee.

The next morning was hectic, with packing and everything. The boys drove over to Bri's house, since they all stayed there the night before. They packed the back of the SUV with all their bags. As everyone was leaving Bri's house, Ethan asked who was sitting where.

"SHOTGUN!" Yelled bri, as she got into the front seat.

Brittany and Amy got into the very back, and Conner and Jesse got into the middle seats. They closed the side doors.

"Okay, is everyone ready to start our long drive?" Asked Ethan.

"Yes" Said Brittany, turning up her Ipod.

The rest of them nodded.

Brittany was listening to her music looking out the window, while Amy, Conner and Jesse were talking in the middle, then Brianna and Ethan up front.

"So, Did you have fun at that party last night?" Asked Ethan trying to start a conversation.

"Yeah.. it was uh.. fun" She answered.

"What? it was just fun? Didn't you dance with anyone?" He asked.

"Yeah, i guess i did have a good time" She said smiling at him "No one in purticular" She added.

"Guys, were going to stop for a bathroom break alright" Said Ethan, after driving for a couple of hours.

Amy and Brianna both got out and went inside. Jesse and Conner went in aswell. They came out seconds later.

"I can't believe i danced with Conner" Thought Brittney out loud "And im surprised they did not know they saved bri" She added.

She looked up and seen the 3 guys looking at her. She looked wide eyed at them. They were staring at her with their mouths open.

"What? did i say something wrong or something?" Asked Britt.

"You were that chick that i danced with?!" Asked Conner, really surprised.

She just stared. Her music was too loud to hear anybody. She finally got up and out of the car and ran into the place. Just then, Bri and Amy were about to go back out to the car.

"What is wrong Britt?" Asked Amy.

"I thought outloud again" She answered.

"What did you think outloud now?" Asked Bri.

"I don't know, i didn't hear myself" Aswered Britt.

The 3 girls went back out and got back into the car. Brittany sitting in the back, stared out the window, not looking at anyone.

They were driving for hours in silence. Finally Amy broke the silence.

"So Jesse, what's happenin?" Asked Amy looking at him.

He did not answer, nor did he look back.

"Jesse, why aren't you talking to me?" She asked again.

Again, he ignored her. Bri looked into the rear view mirrior and glared at Britt, she knew right there that she blabbed.

"God, i can't take this anymore! Why isn't anyone talking?" Said Amy getting angry.

Jesse twirled around in his seat, and snapped at Amy.

"For one... you danced with me, and then you kissed me, and you never even told me it was you!" He said in a pissed off tone "Did you ever think that i have feelings for you?" He added, glaring at Amy.

Everyone just looked at Jesse, and then at Amy. Amy Started to cry. Brianna looked into the rear view mirrior, once again, and glared at Britt.

"It's Britts fucking fault, she was the one that blabbed!" She said

"Well they would of found out sooner or later!" Said Britt, "And plus, it was not my fault!" She added in shouting.

Ethan pulled the car over.

"I want this bullshit stopped, now!" Shouted Ethan.

Amy jumped out of the car, and ran into the woods. Everyone just stared at Jesse waiting for him to do something.

"Fine, fine, i'll go after her!" He said, as he followed Amy into the woods.

"You fucking bitch, why did you fucking open your mouth!!" Shouted Brianna to Britt.

Brittany and Brianna both got out of the car.

"Yo bitch, im gunna kill you, you ruined my fucking trip" Said Bri to Britt.

"Yoo.. girls... calm down!" Said Conner.

Brianna punched Brittney in the face. Brittney holds her bloody nose. She then throws a punch back and gets her in the jaw. Blood trickled from her lip.

"Girlss, fucking calm yo asses down!" Shouted Ethan as he got out of the car, being followed by Conner.

Conner grabbed onto Britt, and Ethan grabbed onto Bri, and they pulled them apart. They both continued swinging. The police come and got out of their car.

Amy and Jesse finally came back, and they were holding hands.

"What's going on here?" Asked the police officer.

"Nothing, its fine sir" Said Ethan.

"We got a call that there was a big fight going on here" Replyed the cop.

By then, Brittany and Brianna were both in their seats in the SUV.

"Were fine" Said Ethan, as he got into his car.

"I'd say we stop at a motel for the night" Suggested Jesse.

Everyone just grunted.

They finally found one, after looking for about an hour. They went inside and up to the check in desk. The guys got their own room, and the girls got their own room.

During the night, there was a huge thunderstorm. Ever since Brianna and Brittney were little, they were terrified of thunderstorms. Brittney felt really bad, and she wanted to apologize. As soon as she went out of her room, there was Brianna standing out her room too. They looked at eachother for a minute. They started crying, and hugged eachother.

"Im so sorry" Said Brianna and Brittney at the same time.

Then they started to laugh out of no where.

"Haha your nose looks funny!" Said Bri to Britt.

"So does your lip!" Said Britt to Bri.

They were laughing so hard, you would think they were on drugs. Just then, Ethan and Conner came out of their rooms to see what the noise was. They saw that the 2 girls were made up, and decided to make up themselves. That night they all promised eachother not to fight ever again.
