Disclaimer: This story popped into my head randomly one night, and I decided it needed to be written about. James and company are around their late 20s early 30s now, and these characters have no relevence whatsoever to anything else in my life/other stories/etc. They are my mind workings and I would greatly appreciate it if no one took them. Also, forgive me for not having the disclaimer on my first chapter.

The next morning, while getting ready for work, James leafed through his yearbook from Senior year. He watied patiently until he came to Maria's picture. Of all the pictures he had seen this was her most beautiful one to date. He didn't really know what it was that got him about her, but he felt himself more and more detaching from Liz and re-attaching to Maria.
Closing the yearbook, he stashed it away under the bed and got ready for work. Liz was still sleeping, and looked as if she wasn't waking up soon. Grabbing his work clothes and walking downstairs, James reached the den and turned on the radio. His favorite R & B jams played as he got dressed, and the more he listened to them the more he wanted to find Maria.
