Window Reflections
Raindrops roll down outside my window,
misty morning light,
my own reflection in the glass
and dreams of you in white.
You come to me from across the time,
yet so far away,
wonders of life and love so real
if only you could stay.
Window reflections of only me
saturate my eyes,
can a love like this exist,
with so many sad goodbye's.
With arms that stretch across the horizon
wanting to pull you near,
only my dreams in the rainy reflection
bring me to shed a tear.
